Problem #1: While installing the MAAX Utile shower surround, the patented Ulok alignment pins were not in uniform alignment due to the predrilled holes not lining up. This caused a large gap between panels at one end. Despite this manufacturing error/issue, we compensated, fixed, and continued on with installation.
Problem #2: While installing the 60" MAAX Reveal shower door, one of the essential parts sent in the box (threshold bar) was for a 48" shower door. This obviously halted construction on my shower project.
Problem #3: I contacted customer service, but they only work M-F 8am-5pm EST. So further delay occurs. When I was able to contact them on Monday morning, they informed me they need pictures of my receipt and the part next to a tape measure. I sent the email with pictures and also asked them to contact me regarding this because I would like overnight shipping so I could continue with my project without further major delays. I don't feel like this is an unreasonable request because after all, this error was completely because of company packaging and/or quality control or lack thereof and ownership of the error should be accepted by the company. I did not hear back from them on Tuesday, so on Wednesday, I called their customer service again. They said they had not received my request, but said they would check their "blocked email queue" to see if it was in there, and it was! So another day lost because of their company IT department incompetence. Surely at this point they would see how they continue to cause delays for me and would want to speed things up...NOPE! In fact, I was told they don't have a policy for that. They also told me they don't have a policy for expedited shipping. All we get is regular 5-7 business day shipping because that is all they offer per their policy. They also told me I should feel lucky that the part I needed was in stock because many other customers are waiting on back ordered parts and will not be getting them for another 2-3 months. I would like them to know that I do not feel lucky at all. Actually, I feel inconvenienced and taken advantage of. I paid a lot of money for a product with terrible customer service during installation. If their bar is this low, I can only imagine how they will treat me if there is an issue with their product after installation.
OVERALL REVIEW: Great looking product if were as easy as it looks in the videos and brochures. However, the truth is there are manufacturing errors with hole locations, so things don't fit together like they should. They have major quality control issues and their number one problem is CUSTOMER SERVICE. For a product with this expense (paid $2595.96 for the total package at Menards), they need to do better.

I recently had a highly frustrating experience with this company, and I feel compelled to share my negative feedback. The entire process, from placing the order to receiving it, was nothing short of a nightmare.
First and foremost, the shipping time was abysmal. I waited for over a month for my order to even ship out. Such a lengthy delay is completely unacceptable in today's fast-paced online retail world. I understand that delays can occur, but waiting for more than a month without any updates or communication is simply intolerable.
To make matters worse, the company failed to notify me that one of the items I ordered was out of stock. It wasn't until I reached out to them that I discovered this information. Why couldn't they inform customers about such an essential detail? This lack of transparency is both unprofessional and inconsiderate.
What's even more frustrating is that no one from the company bothered to reach out to me during this entire ordeal. I was left completely in the dark, waiting and hoping for any updates. I had to take the initiative to send them an email, and even then, their response was far from satisfactory. They provided me with a false delivery date, giving me false hope and wasting more of my time.
The lack of communication and poor customer service displayed by this company is truly disappointing. As a consumer, I expect a certain level of transparency and honesty. Unfortunately, this company failed to meet even the most basic expectations.
I strongly advise potential customers to steer clear of this company if they value efficient shipping, accurate stock information, and reliable communication. There are plenty of other reputable companies out there that can provide a much better shopping experience. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

Agree with another comment Maax not reliable. You get damaged, used or retirned products with the full price you pay. It’s like throwing $2,000+ down the drain. Delivery very poor — unsecured products in very flimsy packaging..
I would rate. -5 stars if there was such a rating.
While Davana shower kit I ordered through Lowe’s looked beautiful on the Lowe’s and Maax websites, everything was ugly and downhill upon placing and paying full price for my order. My bathroom project is in disaster mode right now, have been twice sent a damaged product (i.e., both original and replacement) shipment).
Very disappointing and frustrating. Shocking how they can operate this way, ioutright consumer deception. Not even worth a hundred bucks if all you’ll get is a damaged, used product. It is like paying more than a dollar for a faded,, used jeans from a thrift store - in this case, you become a fool paying thousands for a used, broken shower set.

Horrible experience. Missing parts, instructions incorrect and contradict each other. template doesn't fit and they've had years to change it but didn't bother, wasting people's time and money. Unapologetic when contacted. Avoid at all costs!!

Maax is not durable and no warranty WHEN it breaks.
Do NOT buy even if it’s cheaper.
It is poorly designed.

Stay away from Maax. Terrible product. Terrible service. My Maax shower door exploded in the middle of the night. We were lucky our children, 2 years old and 4 years old were not injured. When I contacted Maax, they didn't apologize, they didn't try to make it better, they demanded that I prove to the them that I had purchased the product 4 years ago and wanted to see a receipt. I was floored, the warranty period is 25 years for these doors. I just can't believe a company like Maax can be so brazenly negligent and won't stand by their product. It's got their name on it. I would stay away from Maax and would not ever recommend their products to anyone. In fact, I will file a complaint with Home Depot to no longer carry their sub-par products. If you value your money and safety, stay away from this company.

Would not recommend this product, poor quality and even worse customer support / problem resolution. We followed the installation instructions and pulled back the protective film from edges (leaving the center covered) to check for defects. There were no issues so we proceeded with the install, the actual install went fine but after the drywall and painting were done we removed the remaining protective film from the center of the walls and found cracks in the surface. We contacted Maax right away and was told to get the serial # from the side of the wall or the packaging...despite telling them the walls were installed and the packaging discarded since we didn't foresee any issues!... and they needed the contact information for the store we purchased it from...despite telling them numerous times that we bought it on line and providing our online order confirmation! Somehow tearing down and replacing the drywall at my own expense in order to install another Utile wall doesn't sit well with me, how long before I have to replace that one? I asked them to refund me the cost of the wall and I'd replace it with a better quality product of my choosing...no response to this request so far, we'll see if they come through with a refund but I'm not holding my breath.

Maax one piece tub came with new build and floor cracked twice in just over a year. Was told it was a "soft spot" due to manufacturing defect in which there was basically a bubble in the fibreglass. Maax sent Aqua Jet to repair the issue and they did an amazing job. Both Calvin and Mitchell were fantastic deal with. The tub looks like new and can't even tell there was a problem.

I purchased the Maxx Reveal Pivot doors 3 yrs ago and LOVE everything about them. I saw them at Menards and they by far had the best price of Home Depot, Lowes. The doors are heavy and solid, but simple and easy to keep clean. I squeegee them after each use and use RainX on them once a year. The doors are easy open and close and have just the right accessories, a towel bar and a top hook for quickly grabbing your towel when done showering (so you don't have to open the door or step out dripping wet). They are clean and sleek looking like frameless doors. The bottom plastic gasket that slides on the glass to keep water out, just broke and I called their 800 number and with a 10 yr warranty, they will ship me a replacement for free! Love these doors and have recommended to several people as a very reasonably priced alternative to "custom" frameless doors!

Used a Maxx tub and shower combo in a complete reno of an existing bathroom in a seventies two story box style home . Brought the entire unit in through a hole cut into an extior wall . Was a relatively easy process that took about a day to accomplish . Only one thing , over time the supplied enclosure proved to be a little light and we retrofitted it with plate glass one that was more expensive but worth the extra cost . Over all a great way to get both a bath and a shower in one simple unit .
