Thank you Mr. Newman for your review. You were so kind as to write a review but not as kind to speak with me over the phone to discuss your estimate but actually hung up on me when I called and said who I was. I guess I will communicate openly on this review instead of over the phone or personally in a professional manor. You are absolutely correct. Our quote was upward of $26,000.00 dollars. However it was because of a superior product that we use when it comes to windows and doors. You see we only use two vendors and only supply Hurricane impact glazing. Our brand also has a five star rating. Window ratings are given to each class of window and doesn't matter if it was a $500.00 economy window or a $5,000.00 hand crafted hurricane impact window.
I can compare it to a vehicle purchase... If I go to one car lot and get a quote on a 2017 Corvette and then to another car lot and get a price for 2017 Ford Fiesta, I don't walk away saying that car dealership is outrageous... I look into the product I'm purchasing and review my budget. As for the the surprised response from the home inspector, I think this may have been the 1st window replacement referral that we have received from him. He was not aware that we carry a handcrafted window that is inferior to other brands. I will let him know to prepare the homeowner in the future and to also give a few different companies for comparison.
