These cabinets are the worst I have ever seen, the hinges keep breaking, the white on the cabinets is commiing off, and now they are literally falling apart . We paid a lot of money for them, and when we called them they said that they haven't had any other people complain about that.. and that was all we could get out of them and now we are going to replace them.

Worst quality kitchen I ever experienced! Now in dispute with them about what has been installed we are waiting for their feedback and replacement of damaged parts but seems we are going to wait long! Hopefully blocking payment on credit card will make them react! Bought thru Lowe's who does not seems to care either. I will make sure to use a profesional kitchen maker and installer next time! Lesson learned!

It's been over a year since Lowes started our 2 Kitchen installations. To this day our cabinets have not been completed. Cracked doors, Cracked moldings, Base cabinets are not installed level, Hot glue oozed out from the plywood frames, Interior paint on most doors have been thinly painted. The interior doors with the thin paint look dirty at first glance because you can see the wood under the thinly painted surfaces. The cabinet manufacturer insists "this is within specs" of their manufacturing. Lowes now wants to just pay us off in the amount of around $2,500 but they want us to give up our warranty and any and all claims regarding the cabinets along with signing a Nondisclosure regarding all our issues. We have not signed this yet so just want to give everyone a heads up. Attached here is an example of the Manufacturers "within spec" paint job and what happened when the installer removed the hot glue.
**UPDATE**. 4/20/24. It's now been 2 years since the start of the installation and we are at the end of what Lowes is willing to do. They will NOT take responsibility of their installers putting in the base cabinets unleveled which makes the countertop unleveled, which makes the sink unleveled and does not drain the water as it should. They will NOT take responsibility for the cabinet doors being incorrectly painted leaving thin paint on the panels which makes them look like there is dirt on them but it's actually just the wood underneath that can be revealed. Changed the rating from two stars down to one star. In the mean time they had cost us over $30K in lost rental income because they are extremely slow about rectifying the issues. They just DON'T care! It was like pulling teeth to get the manufacturer to send us touch up paint so that I could attempt to touch up some of the paint issues that we experienced with their molding also.

Wish I had looked at reviews first. We purchased Shenandoah cabinets from Lowes and the quality of the cabinets are very poor, worse than terrible Customer service is not customer service, just operators. Don’t bother going to Lowes because after you purchased them they don’t care. Go with a much more reliable company. All of our three drawer cabinets are terrible. No drawers match. Each drawer is off from the other two. What’s sad is we got two shipments (because of redesign of kitchen) and the second bunch is as bad as the first. An upper cabinet the door is shut at the top and doesn’t touch at the bottom. I will admit the uppers are not too terrible. They just don’t know how to align drawer fronts. I looked and one side is touching the other is off. Extreme lack of quality control. No way I would allow an employee to produce something so shoddy. We contacted Customer Service and they wanted us to jump through hoops to get this corrected. Plus we had to wait another 4-6 weeks for replacement. We already was out of our kitchen 6 weeks. Had to cancel counter top. Wait another 4-4 seeks because of their terrible workmanship.
We changed our remodel and added three more base cabinets with drawers. Worse than the first set. Lowes expects us to return the cabinets, get new and do this over and over until we hopefully get good quality cabinets. How long do they think I can go without a kitchen. We cannot get countertops until the base cabinets are right.
We decided to fix ourselves to save on all the back and forth and waiting. We were at 6 months already. This could go on forever. We loved the display at Lowe’s and it appears they know how to set the trap. The display is not a what you see is what you get.
Very disappointing. They need to hire a quality control manager that will do the job. I understand these are not high end cabinets but over $10,000 is a lot of money for terrible quality control. Absolutely the worst cabinets I have ever purchased. Stock cabinets at Lowes are far superior to this junk. Wife wanted the good solid wood cabinets. Stock looks as good but far superior to what we received. Do not buy Shenandoah cabinets at Lowe's.

We placed an order for all new kitchen cabinets a few months ago.
At least one third of them were delivered broken. And there were many missing and/or defective parts (I.e. drawers, shelves, doors, etc.) and one whole big double oven box was missing altogether, my builder discovered that when he inspected our order. Combined, close to half our order needs to be replaced or repaired.
We notified Lowes of the problems on July 30th. So far all we have heard is that the missing cabinet is being delivered soon. Not a peep from Lowes or Shenandoah on when we can expect replacement of the broken, missing, or defective parts.
What a profound disappointment. Looking to cancel the whole order and start new somewhere else…. Wish we had done our homework on how screwed up this company and their truck drivers are. Ughhhhh.

Recently completed a whole kitchen renovation using 24+ Shenandoah Cabinets. Cabinets are attractive and reasonably well built, but came with several discrepancies that indicate a severe lack of quality control in the manufacturing process. Split wood on doors and cabinet faces, a warped door, mismatched paint on trim pieces, and a misassembled pull-out trash bin cabinet. Shenandoah replaced most of the damaged components but refused to fix the door assembly on the trash bin base cabinet. Shenandoah claims they do not have repair technicians and thus cannot correct misassembled items or reimburse us for the needed repairs. Even though they shipped replacement components, we still had to pay our installer out of pocket for the painting and replacement doors. They never did fix or offer to fix the misaligned door to the pull out trash bin (it is cockeyed and does not close fully). After several conversations, they just stopped responding to our appeals. This was a big purchase for us and the refusal to stand behind the product was a great disappointment. Won’t buy from Shenandoah again and cannot recommend them.

We decided to go with Shenandoah cabinets for our kitchen remodel, and we were a little apprehensive due to negative reviews here. We are extremely pleased with the results. The cabinets seem very high quality, they arrived earlier than anticipated (still a long wait, of course, due to 2022 shipping issues), the hardware seems excellent, and only one piece of trim was damaged. Customer Service sent a replacement right away, no questions asked. It arrived two days later. The navy and white colors were gorgeous too. We ordered the full plywood option, and we wouldn't hesitate to order them again.
I'll try to update this review after a few years of use.

Lowe's purchase. We're building our own home and had bought off the shelf cabinets before during a remodel. Wanted an upgrade so we talked to Sara at Lowe's about the Shenandoah line. I've read some reviews here and other places by people that were pretty unhappy with the quality, so I wanted to share a different perspective.
We ordered roughly 19 linear feet of both upper and lower kitchen cabinets from Lowe's and waited about 12 weeks for delivery. That's about standard these days when people won't work for a living and shipping is tough to get. When they arrived, one cabinet had been dropped and damaged, but with Sara's help we got a replacement ordered and delivered within 3 weeks. While we waited for the house frame to be released to us the cabinets sat in our garage, and when we began unboxing them I found a corner unit "lazy Susan" had been assembled poorly, causing the lower rotating shelf to lock up against the sides. Rather than try to replace it, we simply unscrewed the spinner and put it back in the correct place.
Other than those two small issues we're pretty happy with these cabinets. They look good and feel sturdy. We opted for the plywood build and the easy closing option. That's a cool feature for me that I've never had before and is probably better than I deserve, but I'm glad we got it.
These days, when you can't find anyone to work and when you do they don't care about the job, I'm more impressed with the Shenandoah cabinets than I might have been a year ago. So far they seem like a good bargain and I'd recommend them. I hope that doesn't change in the next few months and I stay happy with this purchase.

My story starts like a few others, my husband and I were doing a complete Reno on our kitchen and was looking at the in stock Lowes cabinets. The kitchen designer came up and talked us into ordering designer cabinets. Saying things like they're better quality, the in stock cabinets usually have damages, etc etc. Wish I had realized the push was a total red flag. So. We buy into it. $6000 for 8 cabinets including assembly. Big price tag but we agree because the time line fell along side everything else like floors, doors, granite, etc. We received the cabinets (the guys making the delivery 1st brought the wrong ones, left and came back hours later...so I'm sure some of the damages may fall back on how they were handled in the 1st place) and the guys were sloppy, unprofessional and almost dropped my cabinets. The packaging, or lack there of really. Is pretty laughable considering the product inside. It's as if they want to have a reason to blame shipping for their crappy assembly and products. All the filler pieces (including the additional they sent) we all warped. We noticed this 1st as it was in its own box so we start to look at the cabinets before install. 5 out of 8 cabinets were damaged and falling apart. I immediately took photos and the warped filler piece up to Lowes and spoke with Assistant Manager Jessie. We are on camera for at least 30 minutes in the lumber department to find a replacement filler piece because that Friday we had our granite template appointment and he suggested installing the cabinets. He is now lying and saying he did not even though they have proof of him helping us with this filler piece. He told me that Lowes would handle this situation before the granite install yet we waited 5 weeks and kept getting the run around. I ended up paying someone else to fix the cabinets and the day the granite was set, they decide a refund of $450 was all they would do. After charging thousands for assembly, I get back less than 10% to keep damaged cabinets. Now I'm getting the run around. Lowes tells me to talk to Shanadoah and they tell me to take it up with Lowes. Sadly, by the time anyone things to read reviews after being cornered in the store, you are already dealing with their crappy services. The following repairs had to be made on our cabinets just for install..
- Upper cabinet side peeling plus crack in face of cabinet
- Opposite upper cabinet also peeling
-Sink cabinet had ashes all inside, sink pieces

Missing parts took over two months for replacement. Missing trim took three reorders to get the3 color correct. Shelving still missing stop for the two lazy susan shelves. Would not buy this product again. Can not recommend Lowes or Shenandoah for kitchen cabinets.

We ordered Allen & Roth cabinets, a division of Shenandoah, from Lowes late June. They arrived 8/14. They were scratched, dented, trash in the paint, drawer hardware was installed incorrectly, the boxes did not line up, etc... Over 19 of the cabinets were damaged. They were not packaged in actual boxes and no bubble wrap, wrapped in a flimsy cardboard. We contacted Lowes with photos and the list of missing and damaged cabinets 8/15. Lowes was great! We received the replacement cabinets 9/4, with over half of the order missing. Lowes contacted customer service only to learn that half of the order was still on hold. They released the hold and told me the remaining cabinets would not be here for at least another 2 weeks. Not enough space to discuss issues rescheduling with the contractors. There are so many things wrong with this, defective products, terrible customer service and ridiculous replacement times when they are at fault. I would NOT recommend this company or products.
