We ordered Allen & Roth cabinets, a division of Shenandoah, from Lowes late June. They arrived 8/14. They were scratched, dented, trash in the paint, drawer hardware was installed incorrectly, the boxes did not line up, etc... Over 19 of the cabinets were damaged. They were not packaged in actual boxes and no bubble wrap, wrapped in a flimsy cardboard. We contacted Lowes with photos and the list of missing and damaged cabinets 8/15. Lowes was great! We received the replacement cabinets 9/4, with over half of the order missing. Lowes contacted customer service only to learn that half of the order was still on hold. They released the hold and told me the remaining cabinets would not be here for at least another 2 weeks. Not enough space to discuss issues rescheduling with the contractors. There are so many things wrong with this, defective products, terrible customer service and ridiculous replacement times when they are at fault. I would NOT recommend this company or products.

ordered cabinet brand from Lowe’s
Awful cabinets. Ordered Shenandoah cabinets back in May from Lowe’s. it’s currently end of June and I’m still fighting with them about my order. They make awful cheap cabinets. Beware don’t buy. I had to get replacement cabinets because 12/14 cabinets came in damaged, the replacement cabinets still came in damaged, I’m now waiting for the replacement cabinets for the replacements cabinets. Absolutely awful . I have over 30 pictures of damages to my cabinets but can only attach four. Beware before you buy!!!

I ordered Shenandoah Cabinets in 2016 through Lowe’s. Since then one door developed a crack which was replaced. The trim on one unit cracked which they didn’t replace & now we have developed some discoloration which they say is natural aging. My problems with this cabinetry has allowed me to find great dissatisfaction with the quality of these cabinets & total dissatisfaction with the warranty.

Purchased cabinets from Shenandoah and Lowe's
It's one thing to love your cabinets, when they are new, but what about 5 or 10 years down the line. Just how well does the product hold up to the everyday wear and tear or how well does the company stand behind their product? I purchased my Shenandoah, McKinley Square Maple Cream Glaze and Cherry Spice cabinets in late 2010 and early 2011, from Lowe's. All excited about what the salesman was telling me about the quality of the product, but somewhat forgetting it almost 10 years later; until here recently, when I noticed the finish of a couple of my cabinets beginning to break down. I was very disappointed with the results of some of the popular wood cleaners, as it didn't help, at all. So halfway remembering the warranty the salesman had previously mentioned, but totally expecting a new door purchase, I contacted the company. When I reached their representative, she was very nice and informed me that my life-time warranty would still apply, even after almost ten years. I was beyond excited. She said, as long as I was the original owner, the damage that occurs through every day use is covered under the warranty and can be replaced indefinitely, at no cost. Many times, companies come up with great sounding warranties, in hopes of making more sales, but then years later find some reason not to honor those same warranties. With the cost of products today being so high, it’s super nice to find a company that stands behind their product by honoring their warranty. Love my Shenandoah cabinets more every day.

Badly warped, open gaps inside the cabinets, doors hung at different locations in the cabinets, imperfections on the paint and wood. Low end and poorly constructed. Mislead by Lowe’s as to the quality of the product. Only 6 cabinets into an 18 cabinet job and I’m ready to return what hasn’t been open and start over with a real cabinet company, not Lowe’s or any of their cabinet makers. Lowe’s associate said they are all the same.

`We just recently had our cabinets installed, there were little defects but we called and customer service offered to fix very easily. I can say they shipped on time and delivery was smooth.

So instead of sending me my kitchen island, they sent me a bathroom vanity. Several doors were dented and dinged. The topper is now they will need to take WEEKS to send out a replacement and we are without our kitchen STILL! Horrible experience, buyer beware!

We had Shenandoah Cabinetry installed in our new home and are very happy with them. This semi-custom line was a perfect fit for our new space. We upgraded to all plywood boxes and couldn't be happier.

I purchased my Shenandoah cabinets through Lowes. The cost was between $10-$11K. Shenandoah cabinets are the low-end cabinets from Lowes and, as such, this is what I received. Poor quality cabinets which were often not square. Missing hardware for the drawers. Many stripped screws. Pullout drawers which fit into pre-drilled holes and which are way out of level. Essentially, ZERO quality control. I also received missing trim and 1 crushed cabinet (which in all fairness may have been caused by the delivery company). I detailed all my issues with pictures and video and provided to Lowes. Lowes promised that I would be contacted by the Shenandoah rep, but I never heard a thing from the rep. I would not recommend Shenandoah or Woodmark (same company, low-end cabs at Home depot) if you can afford to upgrade to higher quality cabinets.

I have been a General Contractor for over sixteen years and working with Lowes for only 6 months. I have worked with many cabinet brands in that time. I have to say the Shenandoah is my go to brand. I love the furniture quality of the cabinets and the finish! The best part about Shenandoah is their customer service. They stand behind their product 100%. As a designer I lean towards the brand that gives my customer the best service. They have exceptional quality at a reasonable price!!!

Overall, quality is pretty good. Nice mid-range cabinets. I bought solid wood with a lot of extra drawer organizers. Biggest complaint is with the organizers. Someone who doesn't cook designed these, especially the utensil drawers. They double stack them, making them so shallow that you can put one wooden spoon in each section assuming that the handles are short. Most of my spoons won't fit in the spaces as they are too short. They tried to cram too much in one drawer, making the entire thing useless. I may take the top layer off so I can at least use the bottom layer for things like serving spoons and hand beaters, etc. Just pay attention to all the drawers and shelves so you can hopefully utilize the space better. The pull-outs on the pantry were also not spaced in a manner that utilizes the space. The top pull out has 6 inches more than a tall cereal box requires and the pull-outs below it are too shallow. My first new kitchen install, so I didn't know this before. Now that I'm trying to find a place for all my things, it isn't turning out so great. Lowes of Bradenton sub-contracted the install. Would buy again, but would pay much better attention to details and design.

I am a kitchen designer at the Lowe's of Central Louisville, KY. Shenandoah Cabinetry is my go-to cabinet company when I need a product that gives my customer a lot of bang for the buck. Shenandoah offers a variety of styles, making it easy to satisfy a customer's needs, and offers many of the modifications and customizations I need to design a customer's ideal kitchen. Shenandoah realizes that customers don't need an overwhelming amount of options and focuses their line on what's trending in kitchens, making the decision process fun and easy for my customers.
