It was a pleasure dealing with Rick at A1 Custom Mica. From the initial measure to the final instillation they are extremely professional They arrived on time, did not rush, cleaned up and were meticulous in their workmanship. Every detail was covered. Rick made sure everything was done to our satisfaction. There were no problems or issues upon completion. I would highly recommend A1 Custom Mica to anyone who wants to reface their kitchen cabinets and get new doors and drawers. They always answer their phone and call you right back after leaving a message. They deserve 5 stars for a job well done. Thank you A1 Custom Mica.

Rick at A1 Custom Mica did a fabulous job updating my 40 year old kitchen. He replaced the cabinet doors with new modern white ones and the back splash and countertop with gorgeous Calcutta Marble mica. He also made suggestions about where to purchase the cabinet hardware. And the cost was one third of replacing my old kitchen cabinets. I could not be happier with the outcome.

From the start Rick from A1, was on time. He listened to what I wanted to accomplish. He followed up with his proposal and we spoke on the phone and went over everything. I chose A1 because of Rick's professional manner and his ability to communicate, which put me at ease. Next, he returned to my home and took all the needed measurements. We were able to work out all the details. After which, he called and scheduled my installation date. Without delay, my installation was on time, they were well prepared, he remembered every detail we discussed previously. Everything went without a hitch and looks amazing! Afterwards, they cleaned up the entire area. Perfection to the last detail. I couldn't be happier!

A-1 Mica did an excellent job for us. We refinished 3 Kitchens and 1 Copy Room in our suite of offices. They did the work after hours, during 2 weekends so as not to interfere with our normal business requirements. All work was done as according to the initial cost estimate with no added charges. After refinishing, A-1 Mica personnel cleaned up like they were never there. The result was impressive, with the cabinets looking like were made from the factory. I will definitely be recommending them to other people in our office building.

A1 Custom Mica went above and beyond our expectations. We had all the cabinetry replaced in our entire school. They were professional from the time they came in to do the quote through the completion of the project. Their work was immaculate and they made sure to keep the areas clean when they were done. They worked around our schedule, coming in nights and weekends in order not to disrupt our day. A1 Custom Mica stayed to the deadlines that we agreed upon. I would recommend A1 Custom Mica to anyone who needs any cabinetry work for residential or commercial. The work was precise and Rick was very professional. I couldn't be happier with the whole process and the results!

Truly, I could not be any happier having A1 Custom Mica reface my existing cabinets! I knew Rick was the right choice from our first meeting...he was punctual (with texts advising his arrival status as requested), friendly, professional in appearance and conversation, and VERY knowledgable with his service and material! His quote for the job was pleasing to me, especially for the detail work he included that other companies did not...I very much appreciated that! As for the final job, EXCELLENCE! A1 Custom Mica beautifully transformed my previously out-dated appearing, but functional kitchen cabinets into EXACTLY what I envisioned AND as Rick said! My kitchen, which was once the "room that didn't fit" with the house theme, is now proudly featured for all to enjoy!

Talk about old school service with contemporary results. Rarely seen - punctual, exactly what I wanted and outstanding outcome. Rick was the only one, from all estimators, who understood what I wanted; didn't make a big deal out of it - custom made three colored cabinetry, and came out with a quick and easy drawing. Done and over with the proposed time frame. Him and the team are very knowledgeable at installation as well. I fully recommend Rick and A1 Mica Inc. No doubt.

I had my kitchen cabinets re-faced. I am very glad I came across A-1 Custom Mica. Rick was very professional and always punctual. Every day he cleaned up at the end of the day. The job was completed within the timeframe that he had specified. I love the look of my “new” kitchen. It looks fabulous! I would definitely recommend A-1 Custom Mica.

We couldn't be happier with our kitchen cabinet refacing. Rick was very easy to work with and very meticulous to make sure everything fit perfectly. Our cabinets were original to our condo, 15 years old and looked dated. Wow, what a change! Clean, modern look for a LOT less money than we thought it would cost.

I normally hate having work done in my house, but the necessary Kitchen cabinet replacement and refacing that Rick Barrios of A-1 Custom Mica did was a uniquely painless and satisfying experience. First, Rick was on time and on schedule for every appointment we had, from our initial consultation, to final planning, to job completion. Second, when he and his assistant came to do the job, they both worked diligently the entire time. Third they took great pains to cause the least amount of disruption while working, including thoroughly cleaning up when finished for the day. Finally and most important, the finished product is everything I’d hoped for, due in large part to Rick’s diligent attention to detail. I’m so glad I chose A-1 Custom Mica!

I engaged Rick to replace the cabinets in two bathrooms of my home. His response was fast and my home was measured and estimated within a few days. After accepting the estimate I was given a timeline for completion and installation which was adhered to. In addition, I needed a recommendation for counter tops and Rick not only provided someone, but coordinated measurements and installation times. When the cabinets arrived, I was impressed with the quality, workmanship and fit. Finally, there were some issues with the plumbing when the new cabinets were put in. Rick and his team were patient and coordinated with the plumbers to make sure the final product was outstanding. I appreciate all the flexibility they provided as well as the great product delivered.

We hired A1 to reface our kitchen cabinets. We had thermofoil that was peeling and wanted to replace the doors and drawer fronts with a white wood. Rick was the consummate professional. He obtained the materials and made sure we were satisfied with the finish. He communicated effectively, was always timely and the final product was beautiful. We highly recommend him and A1.

It was great dealing with A1 Custom, especially Rick. It went very smooth from the beginning to the end. There are a few unforeseen little issues but Rick and his crew did the modifications without additional charge. Then entire crews were very professional and did a great job. The re-facing came out meeting the expectation of my wife and me. The kitchen came out like brand new without needing to spend total replacement. It cannot go wrong with choosing A1 Custom Mica. If you are looking to re-facing your cabinets, Rick is the one to call.

They took my 40+ year old cabinets and resurfaced them, they now look like brand new cabinets. They do the work in a timely manner and always are there when they tell you they will be. I highly highly recommend A-1 Custom Mica. My fiancee and I recently remodeled our only bathroom and wanted a custom vanity to help pull everything together. I found A-1 while searching for companies close to our home. I ended up dealing with Rick and I can't speak highly enough about him. His sense of customer service is phenomenal. Throughout the process, he was considerate, timely, professional, and delivered on absolutely everything he said he would do. We are so happy with our custom vanity! Over the years, I've had a lot of interaction with custom cabinet shops. Rick and the guys at A1 Mica are great. They take a difficult project and with ease execute and deliver on time and within budget. Workmanship is quality and there is a simplicity when dealing with them. They will stand behind their work. The picture is 1 cabinet in a dental office we, at Belle Terre Group, remodeled. This project consisted of 14 units similar to the one pictured and 1 huge sterilization center. Thanks guys.

Rick did an outstanding job on the entire project! From start to finish, he was polite, professional, friendly and timely with exceptional quality work. He always checked with me about any options or decisions before performing the work. Rick met the deadline and I am happy with his workmanship. Our condo unit was left a mess by the previous owner. It looks almost new after the renovation. I couldn't be happier with the outcome and the whole experience of replacing cabinet doors on my kitchen and bathrooms. I highly recommend the company and specially Rick!

Commented: Do you provide re-finishing services?We provide re-surfacing with laminate, or a custom stained wood veneer. We do, however, refinish the doors if needed, as well. I hope this helps!
