Both spaces desperately needed upgrades, and after researching local contractors and gathering several bids, A2Z Builders stood out with a reasonable estimate that fit my budget. I chose them because I wanted Architectural Digest–level design and craftsmanship — and they delivered. The basement stairs were in rough shape: worn carpet, damaged treads, scratched baseboards, cracked drywall, and poor lighting. I asked for something artistic to replace the eyesore, and they created a beautiful, striking transformation. For the master bathroom, I wanted heated tile floors instead of carpet, a refinished vanity, wallpaper removal, and repairs to water damaged drywall. The results are stunning. Every visitor who sees the remodeled bathroom and stairs responds with an enthusiastic WOW. The entire team was courteous, professional, and genuinely invested in bringing my vision to life. We recently completed a full kitchen and 3 bathrooms remodel with A2Z Builders and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience and final results! Finding a solid contractor is always a challenge and doubly so when you are new in a city. Satchel and A2Z simply did an excellent job. Our project required both city and landmark permitting which Satchel and A2Z managed at every step. We simply couldn’t have succeeded in this project without Satchel’s day to day management and oversight of the project while we resided out of state. My only regret is we didn’t put even more projects on their plate. We will definitely work with Satchel again in the future.

Idan and Brian were the PM’s on my remodel. It was extensive, essentially putting the house back together from the studs. Idan and Brian were incredibly responsive and managed to get the whole project done in about 3 months, including applying for the permit in Boulder County. The work they did was of the highest quality and they came back promptly after the project was finished to fix little things that were overlooked or out of place. These guys are professional, honest, efficient, and great communicators. I would highly recommend them.

I could not be more thrilled with my beautiful new bathroom remodel by A2Z Builders. Manager Brian and project manager Adam were a joy to work with from start to finish. Mine was only a small project, but it was treated as if it were a $200,000 project. Adam kept me informed every step of the way. Any questions or concerns were promptly addressed. The remodel crew were skilled and took pride in their work. That was obvious when viewing the results. Work was done when expected and the project completed on the early side of the estimated time line. The process was painless and the quality top notch. A+ for A2Z Builders!

Brian and A2Z helped transform our bathroom that needed a ton of work and we couldn’t be more happy with it. My husband and I are pretty handy but since the bathroom was a huge undertaking (had to lower the bathroom floor which also involved lowering the kitchen ceiling on the floor below, moving plumbing, completely upgrade drywall/insulation,etc) we decided to hire professionals. Everything was smooth and by the books, we had inspections at every step of the project which gave us peace of mind that everything was done to perfection. All the subcontractors were professionals and experts at their craft (especially tilers!). Brian did a great job of organizing and keeping on the timeline. The only downside to the project was since we had unexpected issues come up, we paid more than expected, but you definitely get what you pay for! We now have a beautiful bathroom that we love.

A2Z did a phenomenal job and were fairly priced: I would highly recommend them to anyone. After interviewing a half-dozen contractors in the Denver area, some of which did not want to do things above board with permits, we settled on A2Z to gut and renovate our kitchen and transform a room into a main bathroom with a walk-in closet. A2Z also agreed to work on a half dozen minor things that had been bothering us in our 100+ year-old home. Yuval was our main project lead, and on-site we had Bar and Izzy, all three of which were highly responsive and great communicators. By the end of the project we felt like they were family. Our designer, Macy, was phenomenal and her vision for our old home was spot on. All of their subcontractors were kind and professional. In a way we are almost sad the work was done because we enjoyed working with everyone at A2Z. Truly the best in Denver.

We recently hired A2Z Builders to remodel our rental property, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We used A2Z for a full bathroom remodel. They did an awesome job! We worked with Satchel who was excellent at communication and touched base with us for every step of the way. Our house was built in 1902 so there are always unexpected quirks and Satchel and his team helped us work around it all and got us the bathroom we wanted! We worked with Macy who helped design the bathroom and helped us pick the right tile and finishes that really helped upgrade our small bathroom. A2Z builders did a FANTASTIC job gutting & remodeling our basement! Satchel Sturtz, the project manager from A2Z, was personable, professional & easy to work with from the very beginning of our project until the very end! In our initial planning meeting, my husband & I felt Satchel listened to our wants & needs, then came up with a design that demonstrated his expertise, not only for the remodel of our basement, but also for the removal of our dining room wall on the main floor. He set us up with vendors who provided high quality materials such as tile & fixtures for the bathroom, LVP flooring, alder wood & iron for the railing, lighting, etc. All of the vendors were easy to work with as well. The subcontractors, such as the plumbers, electricians, egress window contractors & construction workers showed up when they were supposed to. Satchel made sure of that! Satchel stopped by often once our project began & if he wasn't able to stop by, he at least checked in via text & phone calls. He was great about answering any questions that arose. A2Z's 2 main construction workers, Al & Maraa, were EXCELLENT! Because they were here working every day, we got to know them quite well. They were meticulous in framing, hanging dry wall, laying tile, etc. I feel Satchel was instrumental in making sure that he assigned people who were compatible with the home owners. Every person affiliated with A2Z is top notch! We would definitely use A2Z again for any future projects on our home & would watch Satchel Sturtz to be the project manager! Thank you, A2Z!

A2Z is amazing to work with! Great communication, top quality work, everyone was respectful of our home, clean, I really can’t say enough about them. We remodeled both bathrooms in our house using A2Z Builders. We selected them after interviewing several contractors because we felt that Idan was a great project manager. He was knowledgeable, kind, and really listened to what we wanted. As with any project, there were a few roadblocks and setbacks, but Idan was reassuring and calm through all of it. He never missed a detail and was available to talk whenever we needed to. I would absolutely recommend working with Idan Shalev!

We contacted and interviewed several contractors before choosing A2Z. We had a brick chimney that had separated from our house and was bowing in the middle. It had to be removed and rebuilt. We decided not to replace the brick but to reframe it with siding instead. The chimney was over 30 feet tall. Scaffolding was needed, and the brick was removed basically brick by brick. Engineers were also needed to insure it was built to code. Solomon was our project manager. He and his team worked almost around the clock to insure that they could remove the brick and close in the opening before the weather changed. Douglas County inspectors had no problem with passing inspections as the project progressed through the various stages of construction. The completion of this was not an easy task but was done in a shorter time than we thought was possible. I would absolutely refer A2Z to anyone having construction needs of any kind. Frank A.

We had a half-finished basement space and wanted to finish out the rest. I talked to a number of contractors, but Brian, our GC from A2Z, immediately secured my confidence as someone who knew what they were doing with insightful questions and helpful ideas about how to optimize the space. That confidence and helpfulness continued throughout the project until completion. In the end, Brian helped me take my initial plans to the next level and create a space that we love. A2Z is a very professional group. While some contractors have everything on the back of an envelope, A2Z has clear contracting, competitive and fair prices, and their payment schedule ensures that you don't pay for work that hasn't been completed. Staff is helpful and communication is quick and absolutely top-notch. They create a WhatsApp group for the project so you, the GC, and any relevant staff are always seamlessly connected. I never had a moment where I felt like I couldn't get an answer or update from Brian or the A2Z staff. Every project has unforeseen speed bumps, but I was impressed by Brian's ability to keep the project moving forward, without sacrificing quality. We couldn't be happier with the overall timeline of the project and the speed at which things moved along. I recommend A2Z very highly and will definitely be reaching out to them for future projects.

We hired A2Z Builders for a complete master bath remodel. They did a fabulous job. Our project manager, Brian Hershoff, was the best. He was responsive, extremely helpful in planing our project, kept it on track and gave us ideas for improving our design. He helped make things right every step along the way. Everyone he referred us to for materials gave us excellent design help. We have a beautiful finished product and we are glad we chose A2Z as our contractor. If we do an other project, I would hire them again and insist on Brian as our Project Manager.

When we started our renovation, we received a few quotes and decided on a GC to move forward with. Fast forward about a year later and we had to fire the GC; we lost confidence in their ability to do the work due to lack of communication and a scattered process and approach. Not at all what we thought we were signing up with. We went back to square one and found A2Z. They provided everything we were hoping in a major renovation. They know what they're doing, they communicate clearly and frequently, they provide a transparent process and kept us informed along the way. Their in house crew meant that they were confident in the work that was going to be done, and if the PM or I wasn't fully satisfied with anything along the way, it was very easy to get the crew back to make any corrections. Their team is top notch, all pros, and really were a delight to work with. It's true that you get what you pay for, but its worth it.

I will start off by saying I am so glad I found and went with A2Z Builders for my basement refinish. We got quotes from multiple companies but ultimately went with A2Z builders for our basement project. The main reason was we got a project manager assigned to our project. We ended up working with Brian H, who was the best person for the job. He was patient with all the schedule changes, our loud dogs, and a rockstar overall. He also handled all the little details like scheduling the inspections and doing the walk-throughs. We worked with A2Z and were impressed by the speed of our renovation. We replaced flooring throughout our entire home, and complete overhauled four first floor: kitchen, living room, dining room and bathroom. Satchel's team worked quickly to complete each step and produced excellent work. Especially towards the end, we were supported by Satchel to make sure all details were completed to our satisfaction. Working with A2Z has been such a pleasure. The work they've done so far has been incredible. Satchel has been our project manager on our landmark-designated home. He has helped us think through ideas and turn them into actual work, helped us get connected with whomever we may need throughout the process, and maintained active communication with us. I loved working with A2Z builders, The work they did was incredible We did this job long distance the communication was great, they were always available for any questions I had and what ever ideas I had they made them all possible. They were right on schedule, I would not work with any other contractor in Denver.

Solomon Salem, project manager with A2Z in Denver Colorado, was absolutely incredible. His hands-on attention, excellent communication skills, reliability, and friendliness quelled any anxiety we had undertaking a major kitchen remodel. Solomon has a can-do attitude and a large contingent of skilled trades to call upon for any task needed. In addition to the total kitchen remodel, we commissioned A2Z to refinish about 1,000 sq ft of hardwood floors on the home's main level. This process was accomplished smoothly and the floors are lovely. In addition to our pleasure with the floors and kitchen, the end cost was exactly what was estimated and, if this isn't enough for you to hire A2Z, specifically, Solomon Salem, the estimated time to completion was met!

We can sum up our review of A2Z Builders with one sentence: If you are not using A2Z Builders for your remodel/build you might be making a big mistake. Our project consisted of: •Kitchen remodel and appliances •Two (2) bathrooms remodeled with vanities, fixtures, flooring and paint •Hardwood flooring installed in lower level of house, 4 rooms and stairway to landing and upper levels, including baseboard installation •Fireplace modification and cabinet installation in family room •Painting/Drywall repair in lower level of house •Removal and finish of pony walls living room Our experience with A2Z Builders: •What stood out most was the absence of the typical “Us” versus “Them” dynamic often encountered with contractors. It was a collaborative atmosphere where our Project Manager, Tom shared and understood our vision for the project. Our kitchen designer Michelle also understood our vision and facilitated the kitchen remodel. •Communication with Tom was excellent. We knew each week what was to take place and when. •They showed up. Work was always done as planned and on time. •A few unexpected issues arose, but Tom’s solution was always the best solution in resolving the issues. Tom was always concerned with details. •After 30-50 % of the project was complete we had developed a trust with Tom and A2Z Builders. At that point we did not have to question what we were told. •At no point did we feel A2Z was cutting corners to expedite the project or cut costs. •We utilized several of their partners and were pleased with the materials and costs. A2Z Builders exceeded our expectations. Their commitment to client satisfaction set a standard that few contractors can match. We picked A2Z Builders based on reading reviews and am glad to add our own. We had Solomon as our project manager for a kitchen and bathroom remodel. He was better than we could have hoped for. He was an excellent listener and doer. He took everything to heart and implemented it in the best way possible. If he didn’t agree with our choices, he let us know and he was usually right. If something didn’t look right, he suggested changes. If something didn’t turn out right, he fixed it. He even upgraded our microwave to one that fit the space better- at his cost. When the cabinets were delivered, the driver’s helpers to unload didn’t show up and the driver was going to leave; but Solomon talked him into unloading with Solomon’s help! Solomon, kept us informed with frequent updates, pictures and video calls. His workers were competent and did a great job. We really enjoyed working with Solomon and miss our frequent communications If we had another project we would use A2Z Builders and Solomon in a heartbeat!

Highly recommend A2Z Builders Our home in Louisville was affected by the fires. We needed new flooring, paint and a remodel of kitchen and Master Bathroom. A2Z came highly recommended through various review sites. After meeting Yuval and listening to his ideas and enthusiasm, we signed. The biggest problem we faced was getting building permits issued since local government is swamped with all the rebuilding. Once the permits were finally issued, Yuval’s team got to work immediately. Our new kitchen looks amazing, as does our new master bathroom. They even put in a wall for us as well as all the new laminate flooring, painting, tile and required plumbing and electrical, interior doors and a new front door. The people that came out were all very friendly and hard-working. Yuval and his project manager Barr were available on the Whatsapp group chat and responded quickly to any questions. They checked in with us about each part of the process to let us know who was coming and what they were doing that day or week. They consistently checked in with us to see how we liked the changes, if we had any questions or concerns. Unlike reviews of some other contractors, there was no lack of communications or upsells or deceit. Everything was upfront and no surprises. We are very pleased with the work done and are enjoying our new and improved spaces! It feels like home again!

We did a 715 sq ft addition with Satchel at A2Z Builders. From the time we started until it was completed, the communication and craftsmanship in every aspect was incredible. Satchel helped us work with the architect to keep the project within budget while keeping our design objectives in mind. He also was at our house almost every day to make sure that our project was moving along swiftly and to ensure that all work was being done up to the high standards that A2Z Builders holds. We moved out of our house while this work was being done, so it was also great that Satchel frequently updated us on what stage the project was in and sent us lots of pictures so we could see every step of the process without having to constantly drive over there. A2Z has been one of the most professional businesses I’ve ever dealt with.We had a very difficult situation with a lot of questions and Coty issues. Satchel and Andy guided us through the steps, held meeting with us, set up meetings with the city and kept in great contact the whole time. Any type of construction, A2Z will be my first call.

We worked with Tom Siso on a total kitchen renovation and removal of a load-bearing wall between our living and family rooms. Tom is one of the best project managers we have ever worked with (and we have worked with many). He communicated regularly and always responded immediately to our questions and concerns. Our project was tough for a number of reasons including unforeseen utilities in some walls, terrible weather, and working through Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Despite bumps in the road, the project stayed on schedule and we got a beautiful remodel. We had a couple of subs that were not the best so we were so glad to have Tom there to find replacements and to handle issues. We are happy with our "new" home.

Working with Solomon and the community at A2Z was incredibly welcoming. Having several questions about the home addition process, we needed to ask many questions about each stage. We ultimately went a different route from an addition but the team there was so welcoming and understanding. We always felt encouraged to talk through our ideas and find a solution that was best for us. Very professional, effective communication, people focused.

I used A2Z for a kitchen and guest bathroom remodel and am very satisfied with their work. I am not a contractor and had no idea what would look good in the space we had for our 1960s home. I reached out to multiple contractors and wanted to see what THEY would do with the space as they would know a lot better than me. Most contractors just shined me on and didn't really answer my questions. The one that did was Tom with A2Z. He told me exactly what he would do, if we planned on selling the house in the future what he would do in each area, he walked me through costs and issues that might arise, etc. From there they brought in their engineer to see what support we would need after removing a wall, they did asbestos testing to make sure the area was safe for construction, he walked us through the materials they would provide and materials that were not included, and was in constant communication through every step of the way. In any construction you hit some snags, for us it was asbestos, but Tom made sure that there were workers at my house nearly every day and that construction never stopped. The whole process was pretty seamless and I would definitely use A2Z again in the future.

A2Z tore out our old kitchen and installed a new one. They were on time, on budget and used highly qualified subcontractors. When issues arose, as they inevitably do, they were immediately resolved. When a hidden structural issue was discovered, they called in a qualified structural engineer who devised a fix. Tom, who ran the entire project, was always available. The result is a kitchen that's beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We would use them again on future projects.

We added a bathroom to our home with this company. I had assumed this company would be great to work with given the strong reviews, but we will not use them again. First, the positive: the sub-contractors were wonderful, and the bathroom looks very good. The difficult: I do not take posting a negative review for a small-business lightly. But, I had wished I had known how it would be before investing significantly. The manager of the project would constantly promise things and not follow through- this happened over and over for things they said they would accomplish and didn't. When I would raise concerns, they would blow me off and tell me it would all be fine, and then it wasn't. We repeated this cycle throughout the 6 months of the project. Dates they said they would be there or take care of something were constantly pushed/no-showed, they didn't communicate to the sub-contractors changes in plan causing something to be done incorrectly, they would promised that xyz would happen and "be perfect" and it wouldn't, and I had to beg to get things done that we had talked about several times. One of the things I liked about this company in theory was they broke down their invoicing to be billed after a segment of the project was completed. Unfortunately, they continually invoiced before a portion was completed and based on my lack of trust that it would get accomplished, I had to keep letting the business office know that I would pay once the portion they were billing for was in fact completed. We also struggled that we had to source all the materials including things for which we had no knowledge of what type of things we needed to order (i.e rough valves, drains, etc). As non-contractors, we would have really appreciated much more help in the area of securing materials. When they did order two materials after I asked for help (the door and sink pipe) they ordered the wrong ones. Just an all around frustrating experience. Starts are for the sub-contractors and good office staff. We had planned to use this company for further projects, but based on our experience, will not.

We would highly recommend A2Z. We did a complete renovation on our apartment. It wasn't easy to renovate a house when you are physically in another state. Eli, our project manager, is always available to answer any question we have. We would get weekly updates, pictures, and videos on the work progress. He always promptly responds to any concerns we have. He listened to our requests and gave input and suggestions. It was a pleasure working with him!

We went with A2Z Builders and love the work they did on our master bath and laundry room. We had challenges with our older home and they worked to ensure the job was completed and beautiful. They converted our main floor into an open floor plan, including removing walls, completely remodeling our kitchen, retiling our fireplace, fixing up our floors, repainting entire interior and exterior of the home, and adding lighting throughout the main level. Everything turned out beautifully. Issac was our project manager and he was very responsive and attentive to our needs, really felt like they wanted us to get want we wanted. The few minor hiccups they fixed immediately and we were very impressed. Even during COVID, project stayed on time and on budget, which we were very happy about. We do wish the designer was a little more involved in planning because we ended up having to make some decisions on our own, but the process was very smooth and the 3D rendering was great to have before committing to the design. We shopped around a bit and A2Z was very competitively priced. Would definitely work with them again.

I would strongly recommend A2Z. I had a Basement Finishing project which I awarded to A2Z Builders in 2021 after putting it out to bid. 1 common room, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 mechanical room and stairs. A2Z performed a site visit and followed up with a competitive proposal with a lump sum price. Proposal was refined (for clarity) and agreed upon. Provided good references which I actually checked. Single contractor/ interface managing all the permits, procurement, construction across all disciplines/ areas. Importantly, they were not stingy on the materials and did not try to descope the project where it was not clear. They provided design options on the materials and various items to be purchased for confirmation. Payment schedule as work is completed (defined by successful inspection along the way) so risk is fair. They accommodated tenants who were living at the property during the time of construction. Accessed the basement via egress. Portable toilet and garbage organized. Overall good quality. Very professional and helpful. Easy to communicate with and responsive. Few issues along the way as you would expect but is always addressed which is important. Nothing is smooth in construction so it is about how the contractor responds to issues. The project was not considered completed until I was happy with everything and signed off on it. Matt was the Project Manager. He was outstanding. Dan as the owner is also very good to deal with.

Full renovation done! Yay, A2Z Construction just completed our full home reno. We are super stoked to be in our new house. During this crazy time, we thought to just go into the renovating process because it could not get crazier and we needed a refresh since the entire family clan was in the house 24/7. That part was not super fun as a mom ;). They renovated everything and made it fully accustomed to our tastes. My favorite part of the house is my new office. They built me custom shelves which are EXTREMELY helpful because I have so many law files. The kids’ favorite, you probably guessed it, is the basement playroom. My husband and I were sort of worried to do the renovation because of the virus, but we just really wanted it done and everything turned out ok in the end. We are extremely happy with our home. Everything looks astounding and everyone is really happy. We are very grateful that you guys were able to work under the current predicament.

Very professional easy process highly recommended for any project you have around the house... they did some drywall repair for us and I couldn’t of asked for a better job

Johnny Halis worked with us as the manager for our half a basement remodel project. He communicated with us almost every day for the entire four months it has taken to complete the project. Johnny and his workers got everything legal we wanted done accomplished. The difficulty of our project meant that it took extra long to complete. Despite this, the crew was nearly always timely, and no matter how many times or how much work needed to be redone, or undone because of the inspectors or communication issues, or any other reason. There was never an extra charge in our case. Once the full scope of the project in our minds was communicated to Johnny and his workers, the contract did not change in size or length. In the end the work was done beautifully, on time, and on budget. I wish we had trusted Johnny when he said “I will take care of everything” the first time he said it. It would have saved everyone a lot of time and anxiety. I hope they will come back soon and do my garage project. After the basement project, that should be easy.

I hired A2Z builders to construct a home addition. They were very respectful and reliable throughout the entire process. The company did not require a down payment and I paid what they told me it was going to cost in the beginning. The addition was to create a bigger master bath, which they renovated as well. They took the space from the side backyard. It took about 8 weeks from start to finish. My bathroom now is renovated and is bigger, just like I envisioned. Thanks for finishing the project on time. Great job everyone.
