When I bought my house the bathroom was purple, yellow, mostly plastic and very dark. We cut in a window, gutted it, and moved the plumbing. When we pulled out the tub, there was no floor underneath. Nothing in this 1910 house was or is level. Enter Ben, who somehow made this all work. I don't know if the pictures (7 years later) capture how creative, clever, and precise the tile cuts and installation are. He somehow made a hex tile sloped floor and surround subway tile look perfectly spaced, straight and aligned. I still get so many compliments on it. On top of being unbelievably talented, professional, reliable, affordable and a perfectionist, Ben is one of the nicest people I've met.

Ben and his professional team took our old kitchen down to the studs and subfloor and rebuilt us a beautiful, efficient, and modern kitchen. Ben has wonderful people skills and comfortably guided us through all the choices we had to make. He re designed our laundry area, making it functional and more than we could have ever dreamed of in that small area. Ben also took our dysfunctional dining area and with a few changes made it spacious and clean. He always left final decisions up to us, but he has an exceptional eye for design that produced results that were beyond our vision. Ben and David were always on time, on task, on site and every call and question were answered quickly. We recommend Ben to anyone looking for the best contractor in our area. He met every one of our expectations and beyond. Ben is now our ONLY contractor and we will be using Align Concepts for all of our future projects!!

We were facing several major issues with our two upstairs bathrooms in our fixer-upper. Ben was very thorough and came to offer a quote and spent almost 2 hours going over every single detail explaining his process. We knew exactly what stores to go to and what to buy, communication was excellent. They started the project that month and David spent 6 weeks doing 9+ hour days completely rebuilding and remodeling both bathrooms, including plumbing, electricity, new flooring, painting, piping, torn down walls, door removal, tiling, custom vanities, etc. We WFH but really enjoyed having them around! It was worth what we paid and we couldn't be more grateful and hope to work with them on our kitchen in the future.

Ben and David did an excellent job on our master bath remodel. They installed new tile flooring, new shower tile, and a tiled partial wall behind the new free standing tub. The tile work was exceptional! They were meticulous and highly skilled in their work. We would definitely recommend Ben's company to anyone who is looking for true craftsmen!

Ben is the 'hands on' general contractor we hired for our kitchen, laundry room, and powder room remodel. He worked closely with our designer, Robin Fisher, and Michelle @Hayes Cabinets to implement the overall design, adding very good recommendations along the way to help put the 'puzzle' together for us. Ben is an excellent communicator; willing to listen to recommendations, prompt to return calls or texts, and he kept us informed of changes and recommendations throughout the entire project. No one enjoys bad news but there always seems to be some during construction remodeling projects. In our case, the kitchen and laundry room 'tear outs' uncovered hidden damage from a previously cracked drain line. This discovery made additional repairs necessary; Ben, his talented helper, David, and the plumber took care of them without incident or delay. It's worth mentioning Ben, David, and the subs made it a point to minimize the dirt, dust and debris that happened in the work areas and took precautions to keep it from spreading to other rooms in the house. In my experience over the years with different contracting projects, their 'housekeeping' skill was exceptional. All three rooms being remodeled had tile backsplashes or wainscoting. David, with Ben's guidance, did an excellent job laying out and installing the custom tiles. Their completed handiwork (Tempest Tileworks/ Pratt & Larson) exceeded our expectations. Ben, as we came to appreciate, paid special attention to the finished appearance of a room. He found solutions, as needed, to help assure the different surfaces and connections all came together as 'seamlessly' as possible. Overall, I would hire Ben and Align Concepts Construction again without hesitation. He proved himself responsible, responsive, energetic, creative, flexible and fair--and he's genuinely a good person!

We are happy with the ledger stone they put on our fireplace as well as the slate hearth and the faux wood (concrete) mantel. They were hard workers, and professional. Our fireplace looks just how I was envisioning.
