Chris Chapek and Steve Andre of Alliance Custom Builders are outstanding: professional, highly skilled, unusually detail-oriented and responsive, superb in both design and build, great listeners, thoughtful, and super nice. We'd recommend them unreservedly. They completed our project--a complete remodel of our kitchen and two bathrooms (along with a few other ancillary tweaks)--on time (actually early) and on-budget! And once construction started, it was smooth sailing; change orders, which were few and modest, resulted from our decisions, not hidden surprises. Things happened exactly when Chris and Steve said they would, and they kept us constantly apprised of their progress (we lived elsewhere during the 4.5 months-long project). It was clear from the start that Chris and Steve were truly special. They were able to map out the process and remove a lot of the mystery and uncertainty for us (this was our first interior remodeling project after 25+ years in the home). And Chris came up with wonderful design ideas/details that elevated the quality of the spaces we were remodeling. The stone and finishes he helped us select, lighting details, and certain cabinet design details stand out as the best examples of this. We also had some requirements, in particular for one of the bathrooms, related to the special physical needs of one of our children. Chris listened carefully and designed a bathroom that not only met every one of our requirements, but is also beautiful. That bathroom literally has drawn "oohs" and "ahs" from friends and family when they first see it! One of the things we came to appreciate was how Chris' experience as a builder meant his designs were very "buildable"; there never were issues translating the design on paper into the finished build. And Steve and Chris work incredibly well together, so nothing falls through the cracks. If you tell Steve something, it's as if you're telling Chris, too (and vice versa). Lastly, all of the sub-contractors that the Alliance team engaged--from stone fabricators and installers to plumbers, painters, and electricians--also were friendly and excellent. In sum, we're thrilled with the end product and definitely will work with the Alliance Custom Builders team again for our next project!

We did a complete kitchen remodel in our 1960s ranch style house. We had a small space to work with, but wanted to make it beautiful in arts and crafts style and highly functional for my husband who creates amazing meals for family and friends. Steve and Chris took us through the whole process from creating a vision to the last details on floors to cabinets. These guys are perfectionists, artists, personable, and stay true to time and $ budget. Any small thing that was not perfect was followed up on and put right immediately. I had expected to feel so much stress during the remodel (we lived in the house while the remodel was done) but instead it was actually so much fun! What we especially appreciated was that these guys took the time to see who we were and to work with our taste and style, while providing excellent, well researched and experiential advice that helped us to narrow our choices down quickly and happily. The subcontractors they used were excellent and very professional, and they seemed to have great working relationships with all of them. We are hoping to do more remodeling with Chris and Steve--cannot imagine using anyone else! Will add pics soon.

Alliance Custom Builders has completed two different remodel projects for me and they did an excellent job on both projects. I could not be more pleased with the outcome. Chris did an excellent job listening to my ideas and creating designs based on functionality and aesthetics. The entire process was explained to me in detail and all of my questions were timely answered. Chris and Steve are organized, efficient, detail oriented, punctual and very professional . There were no delays and both of my projects were completed on schedule and on budget. I would highly recommend this company.

Chris and Steve were fantastic to work with on our kitchen remodel! First, they listened to our end goals on style and function and provided great design options for us to choose from. Second, they made the permitting and construction process easy without any surprises (and finished the project within three months). It's been one year, and our family loves our kitchen! And we would hire Alliance Custom Builders again for other home remodels.

Alliance did a large bathroom and bedroom remodel project for us last year. We have done previous remodels but this was the first with Alliance. We found them to be extremely competent, professional and always on time. We would not hesitate to use them again.

This company, their principals and any and all their crew set the standard for design, guidance, expectations, timeframe, budget and execution. Full kitchen remodel (including adding crown molding throughout our 2100' home and hardwood floors everywhere except 4 bedrooms) followed years later by master bedroom and en suite and walk-in closet complete gut and remodel. Still think how satisfied we are with the work and outcome.

The best recommendation I can make is that I can't imagine using anyone else and the second remodel proved it. They created a different look that fit our new home, while still respecting love of modern style. The quality of workmanship and design expertise really could not be any better. They completed several major renovations, including my kitchen/living area, a massive modern car deck on a slope, and even a nice small project to renovate our downstairs living area for my children. What especially impressed me was their follow up, beyond the completion of our projects. Any small matter was immediately attended to, including even coordinating a visit from a fireplace tech on a warranty call (they even met the tech at my house, I didn't have to do a thing). They replaced and repaired several small items over the years, charging me ONLY for parts that they had to buy. Alliance has remodeled every room of my 1960s California Ranch Style house bringing it up to date in style and function.
