In 2020, we hired Americraft and Greg (Sensitive Information Hidden) to remodel our home. Because this was our first experience working with a remodeling company, we expected better communication and professionalism. Instead, Greg was often ill-tempered and rude. We were never asked about our budget, were excluded from design decisions, and had items ordered without knowing the cost. The expensive wooden interior doors that were installed were the opposite of what we had requested. The wrong color grout was used on the bathroom floor, and instead of removing it and replacing it with the correct color, they painted over it. That paint has been coming off, and they did not leave us any extra grout paint. Within the past year, the LVP flooring they installed began to lift because it was a floating floor with cabinets placed on top of it. We had to contact the installer to replace the flooring in the affected areas. Since we had already paid for the original floor, we did not believe we should have to pay for a second one. When we contacted Greg, he blamed us for not telling him first and said he would replace the floor piece by piece as it came up over time. We offered a cost-sharing amount, but he refused. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company because they do not stand behind their work and are difficult to work with.

We chose Americraft to completely remodel our kitchen and are so glad we did! It was a big project, included wall removal, hardwood floor installation, reconfiguration of utilities, and of course cabinetry and lighting install. Americraft was a huge help with the design, provided some great ideas, and helped with materials selection. The project was really well managed, trades coordinated, we were kept up to date on progress and plans, issues were addressed promptly. We are so pleased with the workmanship in all areas. Our new kitchen is extremely functional and so beautiful. We would highly recommend Americraft if you are looking for a kitchen remodeling partner.

Americraft did an outstanding job - they kept me informed, worked around other contractors, and completed the job as agreed upon and the price as agreed upon. The final product was fantastic - next time I have a need for a remodel, I would 100% hire them again.

Greg and his team of talented craftsmen turn out the finest custom home remodeling work. We've had Americraft do all our bathrooms in 2018, and our Kitchen in 2020. We're having them back again soon to do the next project: new exterior siding. We heard about Americraft from friends who had them do their baths and kitchen, and they were pleased with the work. So yeah, we like Greg and the Team... a lot!

My home was long overdue for an upgrade, we were on the fence if we should move or remodel. We decided to pull the trigger to remodel, our location is important to me. I researched and interviewed several contractors and decided to hire Americraft. Best decision I made! The work is exceptional, and price is fair. We had our kitchen gutted and a wall removed between the kitchen and family room, installed kitchen island with sink, hardwood floors, cabinets and counter tops, doorways opened up, sand ceilings smoothed out, wainscot installed in dinning room, powder room remodeled installing a furniture piece with marble top of sink base and new window, installed new taller baseboards in every room worked, installed new doors (exit to garage, several interior and sliding back door), gutted and remodeled master bath, gutted and remodeled basement with beautiful railing and barn door installed. Every part of the remodel is beautiful. Great job team Greg, Thomas and Coco. In addition, the places/people recommended for cabinets, tile, counter tops, lighting, appliances and fixtures were all an exceptional experience. I can't say enough how pleased I am with the finished work. Highly recommend!

We received estimates from three contractors for a kitchen remodel and 800 sq ft of flooring installation in a 1500 sq ft condo. Americraft was the contractor we chose based on price and reputation. The work was highly professional and to our utmost satisfaction, and although the work did not begin until three months after the contract date, we accepted the fact that a highly rated contractor has many projects in the pipeline and delays can often be expected. We would contract Americraft for future projects that may arise.

Americraft remodeled our kitchen, installed new lighting, and replaced existing flooring with wood floors in the main living space of our condo. They priced their bid competitively, and once we had chosen them, worked with us and our designer (Chad Esslinger) in selecting materials for the remodel. From start to finish, there was no lag time. The workers were excellent; their work was top of the line and they answered all our questions and concerns with care. I would highly recommend Americraft, because of their integrity and quality of service.

My husband & I spent well over a year looking for property closer to downtown Naperville area. Once we found our 60 year old mid century modern home we were anxious to make sure we found a contractor who understood our needs and could bring our vision to life, onbudget, on schedule, with few surprises. Through Greg Cutler/Americraft we were introduced to an architect who we selected to bring our general ideas to life. Our project entailed virtually taking every wall down to create the open concept we wanted and taking the entire structure “down to the studs”. The design needs requires significant structural engineering work including the installation of many recessed micro laminate headers to enable the open concept. This was a significant whole house remodel with three bathrooms, all new subfloors, complete kitchen, water service upgrade, and all new electrical service, HVAC relocation, and new roof. The project also included full steam shower as well as a 5x8’ sauna. The entire project from demo to move in was appropriately 5 months. Greg and team handled all of the general contracting needs. Of course with a project of this size & scope there were a few minor surprises, neither fault of the contractor or Architect; Greg helped us through all of these with great counsel & multiple solutions. We couldn’t be happier with the results and have bragged about the work that Americraft did. We get constant comments on our new home and have had people who witnessed the transformation knock on our door to ask about the work. We look forward to enjoying the home that Greg & Americraft brought to life for a very long time; Americraft deserves your attention for a project like ours!!!
