Am really happy with the final result of my renovation. Mark Ashton co-ordinated the trades really well. I did full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and new flooring in a large hallway and 2 bedrooms so there was a lot to organize. Communication was good about what days the trades would be coming in. Only thing I would advise if doing a large reno, arrange to MOVE OUT for the months the work is going on. It’s better for you and the work being done.

As first-time homeowners taking on our first major renovation, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Mark was extremely knowledgeable and detail-oriented, and his approach to project planning and budgeting truly set him apart from other contractors we interviewed. His process was clear and transparent, with detailed invoices, and we always felt in control of the budget. Any change orders that came up were handled fairly and clearly, which reinforced how much we trust Mark. We renovated the entire main floor, including removing walls and a second stairwell to the basement, installing a new kitchen and powder room, and completing all new electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. In addition, we completed extensive work throughout the whole house, including new floors, walls, windows and doors, as well as new siding and a front porch. We also renovated the upstairs bathroom and primary bedroom. Throughout the project, Mark and his team never cut corners and were always honest when I inevitably asked, “If this was your house, what would you do?”—which gave us complete confidence in every decision. Mark and Chris also regularly made thoughtful design recommendations that drastically improved the overall look and feel of our home. One great example was their suggestion to keep the exposed brick wall on the main floor, which has become one of our favourite features! When our baby arrived a month early, Mark and his team were incredible about continuing the work in a safe and considerate way. As new parents, this meant more to us than we can say. The quality of work across all trades was excellent. A special shout-out to Will for all the tile work, Marcos for the trim and our beautiful stairwell slats, Thuy for the kitchen, Barry and Nancy for the siding, Kostas for the electrical work, and Alex for the plumbing—all were outstanding. We've worked with Ashton Renovations a couple of times now, most recently to build a 230 sq ft extension on our tiny home, with electric heated floors and a heat pump. It was a challenging project because it was very close to some large old trees in our neighbour's yard, which others had said we could never build beside or that we'd never get a permit. Fast forward to now, we got it done fully permitted with no tree damage, the new room looks great, we are really happy with the final product. We were able to live in our home while the construction was happening with minimal disruptions. The team is friendly and considerate. Would hire them again!

Hiring a contractor can be daunting, but I have done the work for you. I found Ashton Renovations and could not be more pleased with the work, the service, the attention to detail, and the overall cost. I started with the idea of doing just a few things at my century home but over time, I ended up renovating virtually my entire house. Mark Aston and his crew were up for the challenge...including replacing every window in the house and waterproofing the foundation. One of the challenges I gave Mark was to solve staircase access from the main floor to the second. Mark ultimately proposed a solution that has become an architectural feature in the house. We contacted Ashton Renovations to work on our 1912 era home to convert the main floor to an open concept by removing walls, gutting the entire main floor, opening the back wall to install a large european picture window/glass door, and redesign the kitchen. Mark and Chris Ashton were excellent to work with, guiding us through the involved renovation process, from engineering drawings/permits, to demolition, working with the various trades, construction, and finishing. All of their team were nice people and true professionals. Mark and Chris managed the project and the work effectively and addressed our many questions. During the renovation, there were a couple of discovery issues and Mark worked through them with us, always promptly notifying us and detailing what options we had. I have been working with Mark for quite some time now, we have completed a number of projects together, the best experience working with him has been the fact that he and his team understands thoroughly the work that they are doing. I recently had my main bathroom renovated by Ashton Renovations, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I spent a considerable amount of time searching for contractors who had expertise in proper bathroom waterproofing. In Canada, the building code doesn't require the installation of a waterproofing system, so it was crucial for me to find contractors who understood the importance of this aspect. While many contractors claimed they could handle waterproofing using products like Red Guard, Schluter, or Wedi, their images and responses to my inquiries revealed their lack of knowledge in the subject. These were contractors with high ratings on various websites, so it was quite disappointing. However, I contacted Schluter directly, seeking their advice, and they recommended three contractors from their database who had completed full certification in waterproofing training. Ashton Renovations was one of the recommended contractors. After reviewing their websites, examining their previous work, and conducting interviews, I decided to choose Ashton. I must mention that their quote was on the higher side compared to the others. But as they say, you get what you pay for. Mark, the owner of Ashton Renovations, follows the steps recommended by Schluter in Germany, which has the highest waterproofing requirements in the EU region. If you visit Ashton's website, you'll find images showcasing the waterproofing installation in all their bathroom renovations. In contrast, the other three contractors didn't provide such images on their websites and had to send them to me separately. The beauty and aesthetics of Ashton's bathrooms are undeniable. Mark's attention to detail and the superior craftsmanship ensure that the bathroom will last for years to come. The work he does behind the scenes is truly a work of art. Mark also provided valuable input on upgrades that would enhance the overall appeal of the bathroom. His taste matches my own, which tends to lean towards the more luxurious side. However, the extra expense, approximately $5,000 more than the others, was absolutely worth it. When people see the bathroom in person, they understand why I made that choice. The pictures simply don't do it justice. The materials, the execution of the installations, and the finishing details exude a sense of class. Here are the waterproofing steps taken by Ashton Renovations: Instead of drywall, Ashton used Cement board and Kerdi. This exceeded my expectations. They utilized modified thinset Schluter All-Set to apply the Schluter sheet membrane/Kerdi to the corners and seams, which offers better water resistance compared to unmodified thinset with Kerdi. Shower valves and pipes were waterproofed using Schluter Kerdi Mixing Valve seals (Schluter®-KERDI-SEAL-PS and Schluter®-KERDI-SEAL-MV). Schluter KERDI-FIX Sealing and Bonding Compound was used to join Kerdi with Cement board near the tub. Once the Schluter system dried, Laticrete Hydro Ban was applied

Ashton renovations review We just finished a home renovation with Ashton Renovations ~ we renovated a 60 year old home to update 2 bathrooms, add insulation where none existed and unify 2 floors. This included all new flooring, trim, new doors throughout, updated electrical where none existed and fully repainted throughout. We added several extras as the renovation progressed which Mark and Chris took in stride without batting an eyelash ~ some add on’s were long standing irritants that just made our home so much more functional. Our Reno started at the onset of COVID, therefore took much longer than expected. Mark shared all Reno sources with us so we could pick out our items and receive trade discounts where possible. All of the preferred trades Mark works with are experienced and extremely professional, shout out to Bruce and his demo team, Tony and his plumbing team, Kosta and his team who completed all electrical, Will and his Dad ~ absolute masters at tile work, and Glass Ninja who installed 2 glass showers and helped revamp a 1960’s stairwell, which looks exactly like the inspiration pictures I shared. Mark and Chris were very easy to work with start to finish, very responsive and always willing to provide opinion and collaborate to get the best possible outcome. This was our second time using Ashton renovations, previously for our kitchen and now for our basement bathroom. We have always been very happy with their professionalism, dedication, and quality of their work. We love our Reno’s and highly recommend the team!

After years of contemplating should we stay or should we go, we hired Ashton Renovations to complete an extensive renovation of our old East York home to increase functionality for a busy family of four. The renovation included a redesign of our main floor including flipping the kitchen location, opening the hallway entrance, adding a gas fireplace, adding a entrance drop zone, and new hardwood throughout. Upstairs we renovated our main bathroom and added custom closets to all bedrooms. We started the renovation mid pandemic so we were affected by material and trade delays. Mark was always available to chat via zoom, phone or email and routinely updated us on when to expect the work to start and finish. His extensive team of trades including structural team, kitchen designer, bathroom designer, electricians, plumbers, tilers, dry wallers, and painters will not disappoint. They are fantastic at what they do! Renovations are never easy, but if you can look past the process and get through it, you end up with a remarkable home that your family will live in and love for years to come. We recently completed a kitchen and powder room reno with Ashton Renovations and are thrilled with the end result! Mark, Chris and all the trades were amazing to work with and the quality of the trades and details were exactly what we wanted. It was a big job that involved gutting our first floor, moving a powder room, removing walls and adding support beams, electrical, plumbing, moving door/windows, painting, new floors, kitchen and stairs. It’s an old house, so we ran into a few unexpected challenges, none of which phased Mark and he always had a solution. Mark has great relationships/discounts with a variety of suppliers so it made picking all of our selections so much easier. All of the trades were so polite and the quality of their work was amazing. Ashton Renovations is a superb design-build service provider that nailed our ensuite bathroom reno. Ashton did a fantastic job of taking our inspiration and making it into the luxurious escape we wanted our primary bathroom to be. It was important for us to find a quality design-builder for our project as we didn’t have the time to project manage ourselves. Mark presented us different options that would allow flexibility in our budget. The 3D rendering of the design was super helpful for us to visualize the end-product. We worked with Ashton Renovations (Mark, Chris and their network of professionals) to renovate our 2.5 bathrooms and other miscellaneous repairs around the house. We bought our house last year and we were new to renovations (prior condo dwellers). Initially, we just wanted to renovate two outdated bathrooms, and as the renovations progressed each day, we increasingly felt our powder room (not included in the original renovation plan) was more than just an eyesore, we then asked Mark to add the powder room on the list as well. Mark always communicated well and updated us the renovation status timely, he always tried to think from a client’s perspective such as what is necessary and what is nice but costly and unnecessary, so clients have options to choose whatever fits into their needs and budget. Everyone on Mark’s team is highly professional, respectful, and friendly, and they focused a lot on the details. We are very happy with our bathrooms and other minor repairs! Since we are new to home renovations, we had lots of questions for Mark and Chris, including things that were completely out of scope of bathroom renovations. They were always patient and explained things to us in detail, and they made practical recommendations to us, we also learned some painting techniques from them. We would definitely recommend Ashton Renovations. To us, Mark, Chris and the team are not just transactional contractors, they are partners who helped us fixed our house from the beginning (literally before we even moved in), and will help us with maintenance and fixes in the future.

We hired Mark for a complicated job rebuilding a very old and badly damaged carport with a roof that wraps around our house covering our front foyer, an outdoor shed, and a back patio. The job involved the coordination of many trades and was complicated by an early winter and then the pandemic. However, Mark did an excellent job and was always very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. He was quick to remedy issues and provide information on budget, next steps, and to work with us on a rebuild that matched our vision. I would definitely hire Mark again.

We worked with Mark Ashton on a pretty intricate old house partial renovation where we finished our basement, replaced all plumbing right out to the street, rerouted and expanded HVAC, completely rebuilt an upstairs washroom and added another in the basement, and added an island and dishwasher on the main floor of our tiny kitchen. This project was complex with a lot of dependencies and we were living in the house throughout, so it presented a lot of challenges. Mark and his team & network did an amazing job of getting things exactly the way we wanted, and though the project took longer than expected due to some surprises discovered along the way, we knew that there was always a focus on quality work. When certain subcontractors messed up (it happens), the problem was always corrected to get it right, with no extra costs - they stand by their work which is important. Having their experience and suppliers to draw from was an asset, and led us to a better end result than we had initially imagined. We're happy with the result, and our house is much more liveable now, thanks Ashton Renovations!

We had a small job to be done - a new kitchen backsplash. Mark and his tilers did an excellent job. Removal of old tiles, wall repairs and new tiles all done efficiently and quickly. We love our new backsplash - really gives our kitchen a new look!

We had a newborn and a 3 year old, and, for some reason, we thought it a good time to renovate! They offered us great design advice along the way and they took the time to carefully explain our budget and how each decision would affect our budget plan. Ashton Renovations has a great list of suppliers - they delivered great work and kept the job site clean. Overall, communication on the project plan and why a project timelines had to shift was challenging at times, but Mark was available to discuss at anytime and he tried to find ways to keep the project on track. On every job, there is always some unexpected turns (in our case, a decade old exterior wall leak), and while there were tense times, we always trusted their judgement and commitment to doing the job right, the first time. We plan to invite Ashton Renovations back for a quote on our garage/secondary suite redesign, if they are interested.

We recently completed a whole house renovation with Mark Ashton and his team. The core project took approximately 4 months and then a few months for final finishes after we moved back in. We completely gutted the kitchen, bathroom, all the wood floors are new, windows and exterior doors all new on the main, paint throughout, updated plumbing and electrical. Having never renovated before, it took a little longer than we anticipated with some delays (unavoidable) - make sure to assume more time than you think and expect some challenges. Mark always responded quickly to calls and worked with us through any issues rather than avoiding the situation. This was very much appreciated and we were able to always resolve to our satisfaction. We are already planning our basement renovation with Mark and can't wait to get started!

Worked with Mark and his team over a year long process. Fully gut renovated a large condo kitchen and two bathrooms. During the process Mark was always realistic with budgets and expectations. He was very good at assisting and building on our ideas to make each room better and more functional. In the end the only items that went over budget were when we decided on more expensive material options. The Ashton team was exceptionally good dealing with our condo building staff and management. They were always aware of keeping the work area and building common areas clean.

Five stars (more if I could give them) for Ashton Renovations. I adore my bathroom! I had a one-of-a-kind ceramic sink that I wanted to install, and their design was perfect. A tiny condo bathroom now has a luxe, individual look. Mark returns calls and emails promptly. Every person he sent (plumber, painter, electrician) was competent and friendly. The stone companies he works with, Charisma stone, had beautiful materials. When I had a last-minute change of mind on one of the choices, Mark rolled with it. Kind, mellow and competent. What more can you ask of renovators coming into your small condo space? If you want a cookie-cutter fast job, this isn’t for you. But if you want something individual, that will take time but please your whole soul, Ashton Renovations is the best.

Our experience with Ashton Renovations was overall (very) positive and I would recommend them for general house renovations. What We Did: Entire basement reno + wall removal + whole house electrical + other Things that are top of mind when I think about our experience is that Mark Ashton has high integrity and cares very much about the work he completes. Mark and his crew are also very thoughtful and considerate about the work he completes and he and his staff take time and care to do their jobs thoroughly and properly. This was our first renovation and we have heard and seen numerous jobs that seemed to have been done quickly and in some cases carelessly. So this attention to detail and quality craftsmanship made our first experience a very positive one. The core Ashton Renovations crew was also exceptionally tidy both during the demo and just in general when working here. Even though we were not living at the house through the renovation, they clearly took great care to leave the place clean and safe each day after working. This was very much appreciated as we were regularly visiting with our child and dog to spend time at the house as well as review the work done. The only exception would be the first set of sub-contracted electricians we used through them who left the house noticeably messier than the Ashton Crew. However, the second set we used on later work were very nice and helpful as we had lots of questions for them and they were working in tight quarters. I would also say the core team at the time we worked with them were very friendly and courteous which was important as we have a young daughter as well as a dog who were very comfortable with them working in the house. The only negative thing that occured during our job was that it took longer to complete than we had anticipated and we felt the communication about the delay could and should have been better communicated. I had expressed this to Mark who acknowledged this and agreed to do a better job both with us and other customers in the future. All in all, the Mark and his crew did an excellent job on our house and we would definitely recommend them.

I have worked on many projects with Mark photographing his residential renovations. I am always amazed when I walk into his finished high quality designs with only the before reno pictures for reference. He delivers beautiful and detail finished work! I love working with Mark for a number of reasons. He’s professional, well spoken, respectful and focused. When working with him, he knows what he's looking for and is able to communicate his thoughts coherently. Mark and his work crew are a pleasure to work with.

Mark Ashton of Ashton Renovations, did a complete demolition/ reno of our kitchen with sliding doors to the backyard and skylights (eat-in area) which gives a bright and open feel to the space. Also, Ashton renovations gave us the open concept to the Living room that we have always dreamed of. By removing the wall between the kichen and living room, an open concept was achieved; making the space more spacious and cozy. In addition, a stone feature wall in the Living room added luxury to the overall look. Aston renovation was very professional throughout this process. There was a few hiccups at the start of the work ( previous roof damages and asbestos in the kitchen tile), which was resolved by Ashtons. These issues affected the overall budget and pushed the timeline further, but overall we are left with exactly what we envision. The kitchen is more functional and the openness to the Living room allows for a more interactive experience. The entire staff was professional and friendly. I also like that we could check the builder trend website and check out what's being scheduled. We would definitely recommend Aston Renovation to anyone who is looking for professionalism and quality work!

We had a positive experience with a powder room renovation done in 2017 and chose Ashton Renovations once again to demolish and renovate our two upstairs bathrooms. We had the confidence that workmanship and quality of building materials would meet our needs. We appreciate Mark's knowledge, experience, assertiveness and his assistance in choosing products (e.g., tiles, cabinets, plumbing fixtures). We are very pleased with our two fully renovated bathrooms. Mark and his team are polite, personable, efficient yet respectful of our home, and effectively communicated and managed expectations with regards to their daily schedules and tasks.

I hired Ashton Renovations last year to complete work left incomplete by a previous contractor, so when I needed a contractor again, I went back to Ashton Renovations. Recently I moved, and did renovations at the same time. Most times, not a good combination, but I had no choice. The team at Ashton was professional from beginning to end. Mark guided me through the start of the renos just after I’d moved — a very stressful time, for sure. Chris was equally supportive, and the quality of his work is outstanding. They both appreciate and understand client concerns, and do what it takes to address and resolve them. Working with Ashton is not like any of the stories you hear about contractors — they’re absolutely reliable and committed to providing a quality customer experience. I was relieved to be able to depend on both Mark and Chris.

We hired Ashton Renovations to renovate three bathrooms and replace all inside doors in our mid-seventies townhouse. Mark Ashton was very professional, with detailed pricing and a willingness to discuss design options. Mark was also able to recommend great suppliers to help us choose our materials and fixtures. The renovation team were organized, polite, and highly skilled. They were able to expertly deal with crooked walls and warped door frames. Both Mark and the renovation team were also great at fixing any issues encountered during the work. We are very happy with how the renovations turned out and would definitely work with Ashton Renovations again.

I had to give this review a lot of thought because my renovation did take longer and costs went over what I had planned to spend. However, when I really thought about it, I think Mark delivered most of my expectations. I have done many other renovations with a variety of different contractors. I would say that Mark Ashton is way above average when it comes to taking my calls and getting back to me. He also has a sense of honesty, responsibility, and integrity which is refreshing. On the not as positive I would have liked to have seen more supervision and coordination of the trades. Sometimes I did not realize a trade or material delivery was coming. Mark does use a good construction management program but I could not get it to alert me when he was scheduling a trade or delivery. I also would have preferred a few more site visits by him or one of his staff to ensure better continuity. Trades also sometimes had questions which I think they should have already known from Mark. I take some responsibility for some of these issues because I was busy during this time and it probably would have gone smoother if I was always there to supervise. Overall I would strongly recommend Ashton Renovations for their value and integrity. All renovations have unexpected surprises and highs and lows but unlike some contractors, Mark Ashton will always communicate with you and not leave you high and dry.

We found Mark through a referral and hired him to renovate our kitchen. This included removing and replacing all cabinetry and drywall, updating and adding electrical, updating light fixtures, new tiling, gas hook-up, and installation of new appliances. From beginning to end, this project started in late-July and was completed by late-December 2016 (5 months). Mark and his crew are trustworthy, reliable people who take pride in their work and are really great at what they do; something you would want in any contractor who works on your home. Overall: Pros: - Really good at what they do - Responsive whenever an issue came up and dealt with it professionally - Used "Buildertrend" digital application to project manage - Warranties his work Cons: - Time to complete the project was a bit extended for what the project was; although some of this was outside of Mark's control. - Some sub-contractors (mainly electrical) were not representative of Mark and his crew's level of customer service. - Could be more proactive with regular communication, even if nothing is happening that week, but most importantly if attendance of the home owner was necessary on certain job days. More advanced notice would be ideal. All-in-all - great work and we're very happy with our updated kitchen. Would recommend.

This was our second reno with Ashton renovations. Mark is great for working with his clients to enact their vision of a space while respecting the budget. We knew there may be issues (1924 house) and they were taken in stride. At every step Mark kept us informed both verbally and with pictures, letting us see progress while we were at work. We would definitely use Ashton Renovations again.

We would definitely not recommend hiring this company . 1 1/2 years later we are still struggling financially to repair and complete the renovation disaster this company left behind. Paid in full he abandoned the job ... Since that time we have had to hire others to correct & complete. This company / owner made no attempt to reimburse us .. he simply walked away with our hard earn money! Nothing short of a "Cowboy Carpenter"

Our victorian, semi-detached home is in the west end of downtown TO and is about 100 yrs old. A few years ago we decided to build a giant luxury bathroom and an additional powder room, so we hired Ashton Renovations. It was a great experience so we hired them again when we decided to renovate our kitchen and had our basement lowered and underpinned. I can tell you, with a 100 year old house, everytime you open a wall or floor up, there will be some surprise waiting. Ashton Renovation has always worked very hard to keep prices down, find the best trades to and do the job, project manage all the little details so I don't have to, and they do it with utmost respect, for your family and property. I would recommend this company again and again for any renovation matter.

When I began to think about undertaking a much needed kitchen renovation in my 95 year old , semi detached home in east end Toronto, the biggest barrier for me was my anxiety about being able to find the right contractor. For me, that contractor needed to be skilled, competent, reliable and someone with whom I could readily communicate and trust. I needn’t have worried. My search resulted in my contacting Ashton Renovations. From my first contact with Mark Ashton, I felt confident that I had found the right company to complete the work in my home. Mark was engaging but low key when we first met together. He listened carefully to me regarding my thoughts about a renovation and how I use my kitchen. He asked excellent questions which expanded my own thinking about what would make the most sense, given my particular needs. We had an honest discussion about a budget, in the context of my home, the value of homes in my neighborhood, the resources that I had available, and what made sense to invest in a renovation of this nature. Within a short period of time, Mark created a thorough plan, which included concept drawings and a budget. I was ready to proceed. Work began on the date specified. Living through a renovation is no picnic to say the least, but work proceeded steadily and predictably. I was informed at every stage of what to expect. As inevitable “glitches” emerged (namely, asbestos in a wall that was being removed, and a compromised supporting beam in the ceiling) Mark informed me quickly and thoroughly, with supporting photographs, about the work required and the budget implications. The skilled trades’ people who were involved in completing my renovation were at all times professional and thorough. Mark was consistently available, either by phone, text or e-mail, to respond to any and all of my questions and did so in a very timely manner. He managed the whole process in a way that not only got the job done, but that exceeded my expectations. I am now the proud owner of a beautiful and functional kitchen. Many of my friends and family have confessed to having “kitchen envy”. We hired Ashton Renovations to renovate the master bathroom in our condo at the Palace Pier. Mark and his team of professionals designed and executed flawlessly our vision for this project. His knowledge of condo renovations was extremely useful. The tiling team, the electrician and the plumbing team not to mention the construction team and the painter were incredible. And the attention to detail never faltered. Mark is a pro and the results prove it.

Our house was originally built in 1940 and was a two-bedroom bungalow with a full bathroom on the main floor and a two-piece bathroom in the basement. The basement had been finished by a previous owner, but the use of the space was not ideal and definitely needed some work. After interviewing at least five different contractors, we decided to hire Ashton Renovations to complete a full basement renovation and to upgrade the main floor bathroom. What we liked about Mark above all others was that he listened to us when we told him what we wanted and what our budget was. He was forthcoming in what he could do within our budget versus the others who told us what our budget should be. The renovations involved quite an extensive amount of work – complete demolition and removal of the existing basement and bathrooms; replacement of all radiator supply and return lines; removal of knob and tube wiring; installation of a new full bathroom, two additional bedrooms, and a new laundry/kitchenette area in the basement; and upgrading the main floor bathroom. Throughout the process, Mark kept us informed on progress and took the time to explain what he was doing. You can tell that Mark takes pride in his work which is reflected in his team and the trades people he employs. Mark was invaluable in making suggestions on design and fixtures which saved us a lot of time – we were able to tell Mark the style we liked and he knew exactly what we’d be happy with. We are very happy with the work that Ashton Renovations did and would be happy to work them again on our next project.

Ashton Renovations finished our basement this fall, and we are very happy with the results. We went from a dark and practically unusable space to a great play/living area for our growing family, with some storage, a new full bathroom and a separate laundry/furnace room. They started on time, and lived up to all their obligations. Mark also provided some great advice on different material options, taking into account the limitations of the space (100 year old home) and our budget (flooring, tiles and lighting for the bathroom, insulation etc). We would definitely hire Mark again for future renovations.

A good friend introduced me to Ashton Renovations after she had her kitchen done by them. After both hearing how pleased she was with her renovation, and seeing the work they did first hand, I decided initially to have Mark do the planning and design of my space. I have a 100 year old home in Leslieville, Toronto, and the kitchen and bathroom needed quite a bit of work. Mark came up with a great layout and design with my input, and I decided to have him do the project. Once the renovation started it was extensive and involved lots of work. The renovations in the bathroom included new structural elements to the room with insulation, electrical, plumbing and drywall. It was a modern design and the soaker tub featured a quartz top that extended into the shower with a bench. The shower is beautiful with a glass enclosure, integrated shelving, and a thermostatic shower system. My kitchen is equally beautiful. It's now open with a view to my garden and an area to sit at and enjoy the space. It's simple and the green cabinet doors add colour and life to the kitchen. I love the renovations! Mark and his team really worked hard on the project, and the new kitchen and bathroom are a focal point of the house. Mark did a great job managing the renovations and took the time and effort to be available whenever I had questions. Ashton Renovations really came through, and like my good friend, I would recommend them for your home renovation project too.

We hired Ashton Renovations to do a kitchen renovation for our house as our existing kitchen had been previously renovated, however was dated with a small footprint and aging appliances. The kitchen had a laundry room attached to it with a brick wall and doorway that needed to be removed in order to enlarge the kitchen and make a more usable space. Mark and the team were able to tear out the old rooms, fix previously unknown problems and upgrade the structure and services prior to re-studding, insulating and drywalling the new larger room. Ashton Renovations managed the entire project, ensuring that all aspects of design and construction were handled professionally and efficiently. Our house is 100 years old; the bathrooms had not been renovated in over 30 years. We had done some of the design work and material selection prior to finding a contractor. We were intent on finding an honest and meticulous contractor that was willing to work with the plans we had created. When Mark first came to visit the house, he spent several hours discussing the details of the plan and the details of his construction methods. We came to Mark with a need to re-design our laundry room into a configuration to include a mud room with accessibility and safety being the priority. Given the space was oddly laid out and space limited, it took some creativity. Also, we needed to modify our powder room bathroom and 1 upstairs bathroom to suit the special needs person however keeping home integrity. Tall order. Mark and company delivered incredible results! We cannot review them high enough. The contractors used were professional and friendly. Rob, the main tradesman, is an artist in his work. Mark managed the project skillfully and timely. For families looking to invest in their homes for bang on results, look no further. We found this company on homestars and opted to believe in others reviews. So grateful we did!
