Avishay Contractors - Kitchen & Bath Remodelers

Avishay Contractors exceeded my expectations with their work on my bathrooms. The service they provided was outstanding and their workers are very detail oriented. Throughout the process their communication was excellent the entire time, I often received calls from the owner Justin about what was going to be worked on for the day and when he would have it finished. I highly recommend them for anyone seeking any kind of home improvement work.AMAZING!!!!

My wife and I were looking to redo our kitchen completely. We extensively researched kitchen layouts, cabinetry, flooring, and appliances for our 11' by 12' kitchen. Because of our detailed research prior to securing a contractor we felt we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted for our kitchen but we still had many uncertainties and questions. At that point we started to look for a contractor. We spoke to at least 7 contractors and they each provided us with estimates but my wife and I felt that some of them were not trustworthy or were too overpriced. My wife was at the point of giving up on our new kitchen plans. We decided to give it one last shot at securing a contractor and that's when we STRUCK GOLD !!! We found Avishay Contractors on the Houzz website. They were relatively close to us and so we contacted them to come to our home and give us an estimate on our kitchen. The owner of Avishay Contractors, Justin, came to our house and met with us to gather the information needed for an estimate. About a week later we received the estimate and it was very reasonable!! But the best was yet to come. Justin inspires trust and his integrity is beyond reproach. He answered all our questions. My wife and I decided to sign the contract with Avishay and we are glad we did. Avishay had workers everyday working on our kitchen. Not one day passed while work was in progress that at least 1 worker (usually more workers) were in my house working on my kitchen. The quality of their labor was excellent and detailed. Justin's work ethic as well as the work ethic of his employees is of the highest order. One special plus is that Justin returns your call always, and this is uncommon among contractors. Avishay Contractors is highly trustworthy and will even take you to some warehouses they are familiar with to help you find countertops, flooring, backsplashes, and appliances, etc. We are very very happy with our new kitchen and the work that Avishay Contractors did for us. I later contracted Avishay to redo 2 apartments for us and the results were the same. Excellent workmanship and quality labor, backed by integrity and trustworthiness along with very reasonable cost. I unequivocally recommend Avishay Contractors for any contracting job.

The company doing my solar installation informed me that I would need bracing in the attic. Specifically Collar Ties and knee walls in order to support the extra weight of the solar panels. So I started searching for a contractor to do the attic bracing. I contacted a slew of companies. Justin reached out and said he could come give me an estimate. He came by took a look went through a couple scenarios with me and wrote up a quote within 48hrs I had a couple other contractors come and submit quotes. Not being independently wealthy I went with the cheapest quote, not Avishay Contractors . Long story short the Solar company inspected and wouldn't Install the panels till I got the knee walls and bracing corrected. So I called Avishay Contractors. They were able to put me on their schedule for the following week. Edgar and Mac knocked it out in two days. These, guys were great, very professional and they made sure to explain exactly what they were going to do. Result, neat work that passed Inspection. Happy Customer here,

First off, I want to start by saying that this was one of my best experiences I’ve had with remodeling and quite fun! We had our kitchen remodeled. Justin and his team were very punctual, extremely professional and best part they were clean freaks! At the end of each day they cleaned everything up and I mean everything. Spotless. They made it feel like there was never construction going on. From start to finish, everything was a seamless experience. Highly recommend them.

My bathroom renovation completed by Avishay Contractors was an amazing experience. They reached out to me shortly after I entered my needs on Houzz. Sylwia and Justin came over to my condo within a couple of days and looked at my bathroom, they asked what I wanted for my bathroom. Within a couple of days they provided me 2 different proposals with plan layouts. I originally chose the plan that had everything on my wishlist, unfortunately you do not know what you can work with until you open up the walls (building is over 100 years old), well we had to revert to the other plan. As the project started from Demo to completion Avishay communicated everything that was being done on each day. I hated my original bathroom which was renovated prior to me owning my condo, it was dated poorly laid out and what I can tell from demo not up to code. Avishay Contractors are an excellent partner and company to work with. -Prompt -Everyday their crew cleaned up everything so not to affect our day to day living -They were able to make spur of the moment decisions in the best interest of the project if they encountered an issue -All up to code -Project was completed in a very short amount of time for what was asked I will definitely use Avishay Contractors for other projects.

Working with Avishay Contractors was a complete pleasure from start to finish. We had them fix a few structural concerns for our deck that arose during the inspection of our new home, and they were incredibly helpful in offering several options, before helping us settle on the perfect solution, independent of the cost/time of the job. They were very professional, great at communicating & managing expectations, and finished the job before our agreed upon date. We were grateful they would take on such a small job when they had a number of complete gut renovations in the pipeline. We hope to work with them again on future projects for our new home!

I cannot recommend doing business with Avishay contractors. We hired them back in the spring of 2021 to complete a washer/dryer install and related plumbing/electrical in our apartment. We were up front in communicating that we needed permits for everything, and they agreed to obtain the necessary permits. As of this writing, April 2022, we are still waiting on one of the permits, and it appears Avishay has ghosted us. Throughout the process Avishay didn’t proactively communicate with us; we would have to call/email/text multiple times before getting a response, if we even got one. Avishay has breached our contract and really left us in a bind. We are very unhappy with the way everything was handled.

We had a terrific experience with this company! They made what could well have been a terrible ordeal about as painless as possible. We live in a 45 story high rise with lots of rules for renovation and problems with its elevators, and Avashay dealt with all of it with grace and ease. The work, an almost complete gut renovation and rebuild of one bathroom, with additional necessary work on 2 other bathrooms, was completed on time and under budget. I highly recommend them and will call them again for any further work we need.
