Greg and his small crew did a great job building me a new shower and painting most of the rooms in my new home. They are polite, respectful and neat.

I am very happy with a project to add interior custom french doors to an office. This room had two entries which just had standard door frames. Greg gave a complete estimate, kept me up to date on the production of the doors and was flexible on times for installation. This project involved a few unusual modifications; Greg has worked with me on how to make these work well. I enjoy using Bassett Home Services and recommend Greg to friends and family. I cannot sing Greg Bassett's praises enough - he has helped transform my cute (older) country cottage into a beautiful living and entertaining space! My 1972 cottage had some significant structural "issues": drafty storm windows, poorly insulated, and a sloping floor. Greg was very detailed in providing several quotes based upon what I thought I wanted to do. He is very patient and willing to offer advice if you wish, but ultimate decisions are of course yours. You'd think this would be a given - it has been my experience that this is not always so. I now have a well-conditioned showpiece living / dining / kitchen space, complete with a custom built tray ceiling and custom built kitchen shelves - so well stained to match, you can't tell that they weren't always there. He is also a wonderful problem solver - a framing nail had worked its way out and left an entryway for rain water ... leaking into my new space! Greg found it, fixed it, and tested to make sure the hole was plugged. He also helped with identifying some gutter / roofing problems. More than anything, I have peace of mind . I now feel confident, safe, and comfortable in my home and truly love the space. Lastly, Greg is very respectful - from the first site visit, to providing a comprehensive quote, to taking changes in stride ("just one more thing") to keeping a tidy work site.
