“We highly recommend J Leahy Construction! We first used Jake Leahy about 5 years ago. We had been considering a major remodel on our main floor living area and had talked to a few general contractors, but none really resonated with us. Fortunately for us, our next-door neighbor had finished a major remodel, and their house was transformed beautifully. We got Jakes name from their custom cabinet maker. Jake was a pure pleasure to work with. Immediately he understood our hopes for the remodel and gave us a bid. We were installing solid hardwood floors, custom cabinets, slab granite counters, moving a wall to relocate our refrigerator and open-up our kitchen, installing a new larger island with beverage cooler and drawer microwave, new ceiling lights, new dedicated electrical circuits for our freezers, new circuit breakers/box, new hood vent, new sinks and faucets in our kitchen and powder room, new kitchen backsplash, new floor to ceiling penny tiles in the powder room, undercounter lighting and miscellaneous other small upgrades. We are both quality and cost conscious. Our biggest fear was that there would be unpleasant surprises (e.g., large cost overruns, poor quality). But Jake knew exactly what he was doing and we are so happy that there were no unpleasant surprises and so happy with the finished product! Jake did what he said he would do and at the cost he had quoted, we could not be happier with the experience! We then hired Jake to remodel a bathroom and had the same excellent experience. Lastly, we then asked Jake to help us with a leak at our daughter’s house. Wrongly, we first hired other contractors to reroof the porch roof and replace the trim and siding but that did not fix the leak. Jake took one look at the house and thought the problem was with the upstairs bedroom window and recommended we replace it, so we did, and he fixed the leak! Often, we would joke that we needed to have coffee mugs make with “In Jake we trust” on them! But in all honesty, we trust Jake completely and would not hesitate to hire him on our next project! He has earned our highest recommendation!”

“We hired Let's Remodel 08/2024 to enlarge a powder room to include a walk in shower for purposes of "aging in place". From our first contact with Polina, their professionalism and attention to detail was apparent. Polina was honest regarding our budget expectations and when Pavel did onsite estimate he reaffirmed that we needed to increase our budget to achieve our goal. We appreciated their candor. We decided to increase our budget and Pavel worked very closely with my husband to keep final estimate in budget! The remodel took about 6 weeks from start to finish, a timeline Pavel did his best to honor due to our travel plans. The demo crew, framers and painter were awesome: punctual, neat, great at end of day clean up, and friendly. We had issues with a few of the subcontractors but on notifying Pavel or Let's Remodel staff our issues were promptly addressed. “I love my new master bathroom! I was tempted to redo the bathroom myself but because it needed to be gutted I was scared to get in too deep. I’m so glad I found Maughan Design. They came up with a floor plan that I would’ve never imagined myself and was able to fit a large shower, overly large soaker tub, and a nice double vanity in what I thought was an impossible space. I really didn’t think it could be done. You can have as much or little involvement in the project as you’d like. I wanted to be hands-off so I picked a few finishes and then they handled everything. Great attention to detail, the timeline and cost was what they quoted up front, and they handled any issues that came up. The entire team was so easy to work with. I’ve hired many subs for small projects but I’ve never had workers clean the floor on their way out the door, every day! Very easy to have in my home.”
