“I bought a somewhat custom-built shed from Old Hickory sheds to turn into an art studio. 2025 was the year to actually build it out, and Primé was integral in transforming it into a gorgeous, highly functional and very cozy space in a matter of months. He was very receptive to the goals I had for the space, and was able to make it happen on a reasonable timeline, and for a reasonable price. The interior was just bones to begin with, and slightly overbuilt. There were a lot of extra 2x4 beams supporting the dormer, which really affected the lofty ceiling vibe. He had the genius idea of cutting out most of them and building up a few of the beams with more 2x4s. The result was visually so much better than I could have hoped for, while still maintaining the structural integrity of the space. He also added a false wall over a set of double doors (the manufacturer mistakenly added double doors to the wrong side, so upon adding another set of doors I just had too many doors) while leaving the windows of the doors intact. He insulated, drywalled, added shiplap to the ceiling, and installed the marmoleum tile as well as many other additions and adjustments to bring it to what it is today. I am more than thrilled with Primé's work, his professional and punctual communication and work schedule, and his ability to pivot or develop solutions when something isn't working. And because of his stellar work, he is now working on my partner's music studio! I highly recommend Steve Primé for any job - he is a rare jewel in a land of rough cut stones. - Heather B”

“Working with Drew Efimoff and Coastal Designs on our master bathroom/closet remodel was a pleasure. We first engaged Drew through our designer. She had quite a few conversations with him and concluded that he was meticulous about details and would likely be a good match with our style. Once we were ready, Drew provided a quote with enough detail to keep us on the same page, but without overwhelming us. After an in-person meeting, we came away with confidence to move forward. Our remodel was a bit complex because the house is modern and does not have any parallel walls. The shower wall and cabinet walls are curved. Drew was careful to guide our choices for tile, etc. in light of this challenge. Along the way, he knew when to ask us questions about details that were important. This kept us engaged in every step and ensured we were happy with the end result. Drew and all of his subcontractors are genuinely nice people and very thoughtful about how they worked in our home. They kept to one entrance and came and went without disturbing us. All of their work was of high quality and efficiency. Any time we asked for something to be touched up or adjusted, it was done immediately and often already in the works. They kept our home clean and as dust free as possible for a construction site. The project schedule was tight, and Drew stuck closely to it. The team worked every Saturday to meet deadlines. The project stayed on budget as well. Drew brought in Classy Closets to design and build our walk-in closet. Their work was excellent. He also provided referrals to a variety of services that we have been pleased with.
