Mr Boyce and his team did a fantastic job remodeling my bathrooms. Mr Boyce was very knowledgeable and assisted us when choosing the products and materials that would work best in our space. Boyce renovations did an incredible job transforming our bathroom! We live in a circus 1900 Baltimore row home and we were very committed to maintaining the integrity and look of the home while expanding our tiny bathroom’s size. Mike and his incredible right hand contractor Mario did a marvelous job being sensitive to making the end product look in the period of our home. Additionally Mike was very helpful and honest with feedback and suggestions to minimize costs and ensure the end product was great. All in all he was at the very affordable estimate he gave us at the start of our project and the only extra costs were the ones we chose (like an expensive sink we really wanted!). Mike and his crew did excellent work on our basement . We were very happy with the results and the design.

This was a huge project and we are so pleased with the outcome! With the work of our architect, we designed on one side of our existing house, an added garage, and mudroom, with a resulting kitchen redesign. On the other side, we added a master bedroom suite requiring a reconfiguration of an existing room into a laundry room and part of the master bath. The end goal was a more aging-in-place-friendly home. Mike and crew not only executed the plan with beautiful work and great sub-contractors but also added design ideas that we never would have thought of. Mike and crew were professional, kept the job site clean, and for such a large, long project, minimized any inconvenience to us. Mike's price was very reasonable as well. We are thoroughly enjoying the work of Boyce Renovations!!

Mike and his guys are a great team! They remodeled two bathrooms for me. I couldn't be happier! The hall bathroom needed to be updated. With Mike's help I choose white tiles for the bathtub and a very nice basketweave tile for the floor giving the room the added color and pizazz. Our master bath was completely remodeled. We made the shower larger and added a new closet. The tile work in our new shower turned out amazing! I love it! They were always polite and prompt every morning! Every evening when they were finished for the day, they made sure they cleaned up before leaving and everything was put away. Mike gave us a timeline and he kept to it. They are hard workers and good at what they do! I was very pleased with their work!

Boyce Renovations took on a project to renovate two (2) bathrooms in my home. He laid out his plan to address the project with my wife and I shortly before starting the project. His crew promptly arriving at 7:00 am every weekday morning. His crew were very respectful of our property and extremely neat, cleaning the work areas at the end of each work day. Most cuting of materials was performed outside of the home to minimize the dust that was created. We always had access to one of the bathrooms during the project. The first bathroom included removing a tub and installing a low access shower with glass wall and shower door. In addition, a new vanity and tall toilet were installed along with new lighting and exhaust fan. New wall and floor tile were installed along with a folding shower bench/seat. New faucets for the vanity and shower were provided. The second bathroom included utilizing a previous an open space and reconfiguring the entrance to a walk-in closet to allow for the increase to a true onsuite bathroom. This design included a a larger dual sink vanity, larger glass enclosed shower, 60" oval stand alone tub with floor mounted tub filler and a tall toilet. Over the tub a 54" x 54" tempered glass window was also installed. New lighting, a new exhaust fan, dramatic two tiled walls with matching tile floor was installed. A pocket door was installed in the bathroom as well as for the new entrance to the redesigned walk-in closet from the "Master" bedroom. Boyce Renovations also created a laundry closet on the second floor across from the bathrooms. Water hookups, lighting and exhaust venting was provided. New plank flooring was installed in the closet, in the laundry closet and hall floor. Any issues that came up were minimal and were addresse and corrected immediately. I consider the work that was performed to of VERY PROFESSIONAL Caliber. The quality of work was exceptional to say the least.

We would highly recommend Boyce Renovations. Mike Boyce is professional and very knowledgeable. Also, he is very nice to work with. We have always wanted to have a screened in porch added to our home. Mario did a fabulous job!. He totally beat our expectations. His work ethics is top notch. We were blessed. Mike Boyce does excellent work. He is a professional and takes pride in his work. I've had two projects completed by him, a complete bath remodel and building a screened porch. Many compliments from neighbors passing by. One neighbor who watched him and his helper every day said he would recommend him to anyone based on his work ethic even though he wasn't working for him. I am happy to recommend him to anyone and will use him again if I have a future project.

Mike has been great. He and Mario did a wonderful job on our new kitchen and it was not an easy job. They had to gut our old kitchen all the way down to the studs as well as take out the old flooring which was glued down, then hand scraped the glue off the floor. We had gas re-routing issues, plumbing and electric issues, installing new lighting and flooring. Mike and Mario handled everything professionally and in a timely fashion. All the work was done correctly, and with great craftmanship. Mike and Mario showed up on time every day and cleaned up when they finished. This is the second time we have worked with him and we are looking forward to working with him again.

This was our third project with Mike. He takes great pride in his work and it shows. He helped us find creative solutions and went the extra mile to give us the finishes we wanted even when it took him more time and frustration. We hired Boyce Renovations to replace the wood trim on the front of our house with PVC material. Mike Boyce and his crew showed up on time and immediately started working on the project. During the work I was informed of their progress and was involved with making decisions when needed. Mr. Boyce was very accommodating to the changes that were made mid project. My wife and I are very happy with the way our house looks and with the work of Boyce Renovations. This is the second project that I have hired Mike Boyce for, he built a tile and glass pane shower for us in 2013. I would hire Mike Boyce again for another project.

I needed to take an unused space in one of our outbuildings and turn it into a personal workshop and office while retaining the look and feel of the original barn, and Mike accomplished this start to finish with total professionalism, craftsmanship and an eye to aesthetic details. When you walk into this transformed space, you can feel that he got what I was shooting for, and that he through his heart and soul into it. I wanted a professional who I could trust to oversee a complex project independently and to see it through from start to finish, and that was exactly what Mike did. He worked with me in the initial stages to refine our concept, then he established a budget that he stuck to and reported to me regularly about, and he communicated each week about the progress and updates about the project. He involved me in decisions when it was necessary, and I also trusted him to make the onsite choices he needed to make to keep the project moving and on time. I really wouldn't have wanted to work with anyone else on this project. I just can't say enough about Mike and his approach, experience and craftsmanship. He always went the extra mile. For example, there was an old iron barn fixture, and Mike took that home, polished and oiled it and incorporated it into the design. It really made the room and is such a cool feature. That's just the way Mike is and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor with a craftsman touch.

Mike did a great job replacing our front porch and installing a new beam where the old one had failed. The work site was left clean every day, and Mike kept us informed on a daily basis of his progress. We have other projects to do and we hope Mike will be leading them as well.

He showed every day he said he would at 7;30 am sharp and would work straight through the day and leave the work site all cleaned up. Mine was a small basement room remodel, but he did an excellent job and I can't wait for him to remodel my kitchen. Best compliment I could is that I really don't want anyone else to hire him, so he is available for me!

Boyce provided an estimate and timeframe for completion for our hall bathroom project. The project actually came in under budget and was completed on time. The bathroom looks great!

We hired Boyce Renovations to finish the basement in our home. The house was built in 1995 and the basement was completely unfinished with concrete flooring and exposed concrete walls. We wanted framing, carpet, a storage room, an exercise room, and a full bathroom installed. Boyce Renovations quoted us an excellent price and a 6-8 week timeline. Once work started on the project it moved very quickly. Communication was great, they were there on time probably 95% of the time and always told us if they were going to be late. In addition to the expected work there were some, let's say interesting, things the previous owners had done that had to be rectified. The renovation was finished within the quoted timeframe and it looks great. Final price came in at about what we were quoted and was completely attributable to deviations we requested from the contract. They were also great about handling COVID related restrictions as well. Mike did a total bath remodel for me including removal of an old heavy cast iron jetted tub and replacing it with a walk in shower. He is a true professional and hard worker. Came early and worked all day without a break. He has an eye for design and helped me to make decisions for what would look good in my small space. We hired Mike to finish our basement. During the renovation, he was able to work through and reconfigure difficult wiring and lighting. Mike provided us with frequent updates and responded to our questions/requests in a timely manner. He stayed true to his initial estimate and accommodated the changes we requested along the way. The quality of his work exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be happier with the finished product.

The work performed on this project was of high quality, and it was performed within the stated time period at a fair and reasonable price. Mike started each day promptly at the agreed upon time. Boyce renavation purchased and installed whrillpool tube and kitchen sink for me was very Thur on the installation of both units and made sure they were installed correct and leak free I would recommend to others very personal to the needs of customer

Mike was the best contractor we’ve ever hired. He has a good eye for design, is a good problem solver and is clean. He also showed up on time every day and worked really hard. Our new shower looks incredible. We had gotten estimates from other people who focused on the problems and what they couldn’t do. Mike Boyce stands apart for his diligence and work ethic. He showed up when he says he would, and worked very hard to translate my vision into a great looking result. Along the way he executed the tricky project successfully (working in an 1850 row house), while keeping extraneous mess to a minimum and a good eye on cost. I am very happy with the result.

Mike Boyce constructed an A-frame covering for my concrete porch. He did an absolutely excellent job and it turned out exactly as I wanted it. He is very professional, hard-working, very knowledgeable about his work, and very dedicated to his profession. He would always ask me along the way if what he was doing was what I intended it to be. If there were any problems that did arise, he explained and discussed them with me first before proceeding, offering his professional opinion. Even though I envisioned large round columns for the porch, his opinion that they would be too overwhelming for how close my porch was to the street was the correct decision. My columns are a little smaller than what I originally wanted and fit perfectly with the porch and the look of the house. Mike works by himself, except he had a roofer do the roofing shingles and an electrician do the electrical work for the fans. All were very pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend Mike to anyone who needs a dependable, good contractor. Many, many people have asked me who did my beautiful porch and I gladly tell them Mike Boyce did it. Mike did an excellent job! This is the second time we have used him. 10 yrs ago he added a family room addition with a basement to our house. The most current renovations were done along with the addition of Central Air Conditioning. The renovations were taking 2 bedrooms and making them into a master suite. The two bedrooms were converted into a master bath, walkin closet, utility room for the AC unit and master bedroom. He also designed a partial kitchen remodel after air conditioning was installed in the house. Mike created a tray ceiling and rewired the lighting in the kitchen to hide all the duck work from the AC. We are very pleased with Mikes eye for detail and ability to design and optimize space to meet our needs. Mike's numbers were on target, and he always communicated time frames on the materials arrival. If there was a cheaper source available for materials, Mike helped us try and save money by using them. If he was going to be late or not there that day we would let us know. We would use Mike again for any future renovation needs.

Mike was great to work with throughout the process. He strengthened the original structure, correcting the structural deficiencies of the original builder, and then exceeded our expectations with a beautiful finished product. Had a 160 foot long vinyl fence installed by Mike and the job was done in the discussed timeframe and very professional job. He worked full days, every day until completed. Had all the right equipment and was so meticulous with measurements and drilling poles in the right places. The fence is 100% straight line, all 160 feet of it! Mike is so very polite and courteous at all times.

Mike was wonderful to work with and very skilled. He listened to our wishes and concerns, solved some tricky space problems for us, and transformed or basement from creepy to cozy. Mike Boyce from Boyce Renovations was an absolute pleasure to work with. He did a kitchen renovation for us where he replaced all the cabinets, countertop, added electrical, installed new flooring and a backsplash. He also installed new appliances we selected. Boyce guided us through selecting cabinets, helped with the layout and installed everything after it was delivered. He always left the site clean before he left, was prompt with his communications, and got the job done quickly and under budget. He was very flexible with us and was able to improvise on the spot if there was an issue (i.e: he discovered a duct that had been covered up by the old cabinets; he made it so the duct is now functioning, adding a grill in the toe kick of a base cabinet at no extra charge). He had great recommendations and installed everything well; the job is beautiful. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone in need of a remodel.

Mike Boyce is a craftsman and one hell of a good contractor. He's done a bathroom for us, and just built our garage. As a Catonsville guy with an older home, he respects what you have, and uses higher quality materials than other companies. He's meticulous with details and finishes, and he solves problems the hard way: with technique and effort. For instance, our bathroom sat on several levels of old tile. He rerouted pipes to lower the floor, improving the look and safety. But my Garage Mahal is a masterpiece. It didn't have to have gables. It didn't have to have molding, or a crawl space, or two outlets or an antique door. For the price that someone else would have built a big shed, Boyce Renovations built us a garage that fits our life, and increases the value of our home. It wasn't just a project to Mike, and we weren't just customers. What a great job.

We hired Mike to renovate our bath and laundry, involving considerable deconstruction, rebuilding, and finish work. He was absolutely reliable and professional throughout. His work is solid and beautiful! We would use his services again in a heartbeat!

Wow! I can't say enough about Boyce Renovations! I am so pleased with the transformation of my bathroom! From the minute I met Mike, I knew I was in good hands. This was super important to me as I am an older, single woman and this is my first home renovation. Not only that, but I had family scheduled to visit and the bathroom needed repair and Boyce Renovations was able to fit me into his schedule AND complete the job so that my visitors didn't have to stay elsewhere. Mike was excellent. He got the plans, and started working. He was flexible enough to make changes on the fly when it became clear that the plans were not 100% accurate. He knows the code inside and out. He also stopped what he was doing to take the time to explain what he was about to do or what was done. Once, he had to undo some of his work to show behind the wall what was done. Mostly, he did the work himself. That meant that he took personal responsibility for our satisfaction. We understood that the job would take longer without help, but we were fine. He also gave us many creative ideas on the fly. We are certainly recommending him whole heartedly!
