Working with Carmen has been a great experience! She’s a knowledgeable builder who values skilled craftsmanship, has eye for design, and uses high quality materials. We needed a wheelchair accessible full bathroom created & laundry moved to the first floor. It meant a full gut of a big area, designing the bathroom & creating a laundry/pantry. Carmen really pays attention to all the details & talked with us about how we would use the space. Her crew kept our house amazingly dust free. Carmen’s team also fixed many problems left by a previous contractor & because she was thorough when she visited to write her estimate, her pricing for doing that was spot on. The contract & any changes were written, clear, & fair. We definitely recommend BPL Design Group.

I wish I could put 0 stars to this business and person. If you want to end up taking legal action against someone, this is it. Terrible job, left our house worse than before they came and claimed spent $22,300 (what we paid her for nothing). We had to re-do everything. Only a few pictures shared below of how she claimed this is 90% complete before abandoning the project. Had to do collages to share more. I guess the trash they left behind in the rest of the house counts towards their completion.

Carmen is great. We had gone through a few other designers -- either they weren't matching with what we wanted to do, or they just disregarded our desires. We were frustrated. Carmen just gets it. She listens to our input, and helps push us and drive us to try new things. Our home looks fantastic, and the risks she got us to take paid off in huge ways. On a more personal level, my wife and I just love her. She's easy to work with, no drama, and she's a great communicator. She makes you feel as if you've been friends for 20 years!

Carmen was wonderful! Very creative and Hs great ideas and excellent taste. She was very responsive and professional. We hired her to redo our condo. This included a new kitchen - gutting the old, new cabinets, countertop, backsplash, lighting and appliances. We also had new flooring put in throughout entire condo as well as fresh paint, lighting, and new baseboards. Turned out great!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with BPL Design Group and with the owner, Carmen. As a general contractor it is imperative to have a designer that knows the product and how it works together. Carmen and her team were amazing to work with. I cannot say enough about Carmen, her design taste and remodel knowledge, except that I got really lucky to be able to work with her. I had no idea that some of the reasons my older home had ugly or weird components were because of code parameters vs. a cheap flip choice. I still look at choices Carmen made such as my composite sink and think how much I love it. I also learned rather than have all my ideas set, let her do what she does and make suggestions. She knows what she is talking about with over 20 years of experience. For instance, you can't have half a room with Shutters and then a big shade on one window. You won't be happy. Additionally, she has so many contacts in the business that if you need an AV guy to hide TV wires, she will connect you even if that wasn't part of her project with you. I loved that she stuck to my budget and kept the project and workers on schedule. I still love love love my bathroom and my kitchen.

Carmen has an eye for detail in every capacity!!! She is creative, detailed, visionary and full of creative ideas and enthusiasm!!! I recommend her highly! We recently moved from Los Angeles to Stuart and our paths have crossed numerous times. Glad to see that incredible talent is here in Florida.
