Brian was a complete professional as were the other subcontractors that he brought in to do our full kitchen remodel. they all worked very hard and the quality of the workmanship was top notch. we received many compliments from our friends, family and neighbors on the remodel and gave references to those who asked.

Brian has done several projects in our home. This summer he completely gutted and remodeled our kitchen including significant structural work. The kitchen turned out better than expected and we couldn't be happier with the final product. Brian is very professional, dependable, and truly an expert at his craft. I have recommended Brian to several friends and will absolutely hire him again for future work on our home.

Brian remodeled two bathrooms in our home last year. The results were exceptional. The work was completed on time and on budget. Brian always shows great attention to detail, and is never satisfied with anything less than perfect. Additionally, he provides helpful advice throughout the process, both in terms of aesthetic choices (how to arrange tile, window casing, etc.) and functional considerations. We have the utmost confidence in Brian's work and will continue to use him for all of our home projects.

Brian installed a Sunroom to Deck double door for us. It was the second job he did after an excellent installation of a wooden front outer door. As usual, with Brian, he was helpful from the beginning to the end of the job. He made useful recommendations in his kind, unassuming manner and pointed out any deviations in the process that might occur. We have an older house (built in 1932) and the framing for the door was out of square. Brian had to do quite a bit of extra work to square the door and he did so with excellent results again. We cannot recommend Brian strongly enough. He is a master craftsman and is wonderful to watch work (He actually welcomed my intrusions.) Brian is friendly, honest, highly resourceful, and out performs his own rigorous standards. Brian is the only one we would trust with our home and you would be very happy trusting him with yours. Brian Terranova completed my master bath remodel last spring. I couldn’t be happier with the finished bathroom….it turned out beautifully! This was a difficult job on a 100 year-old building that had settled badly, leaving the floor, ceiling, and walls out of plumb. Brian is a skilled and gifted craftsman who is dedicated to doing the job the right way…..he doesn’t cut corners or take short-cuts. He is meticulous in his finishing work and it really shows in the end product. Brian was also really great to work with - a true professional. He communicated very effectively….I always knew where we were in the project and he kept me in the loop with all decisions that were made. He really cared that my design vision was being realized in the project, talking the time to explain various design choices as opposed to simply executing the choices on his own. There were no surprises because of this and I really love everything about the new bathroom! I especially love the walk-in shower. The tile layout is exceptional - and while I had a hand in it, Brian was truly the artisan here. The niche was perfectly placed, as were the shower fixtures. The grout and finishing work is perfect!!! The icing on the cake is that Brian is a nice guy. That’s important when someone is working in your home for months. He was respectful of my home at all times. He always kept me in the loop in terms of his schedule. He was always very positive and helpful! I can highly recommend him with complete confidence and he will be the first person I turn to for future contracting work.

Brian Terranova Construction remodeled our Kitchen and modified our exterior to accommodate a walk-out Nanwall. This was a very complex remodel in that it had many structural elements and we used a lot of new technology high-end materials to accomplish our design. One of the things that set Brian apart from the other quotes we received was his fair and transparent pricing. We knew exactly what to expect in terms of price. Once the project started, the demolition went more quickly than I expected. The dumpster arrived and before I knew it, it was full. Brian and his team have excellent craftsmanship and their woodworking is reminiscent of artistry you don't see in modern-day new construction. He only uses the best quality materials and never cuts corners. Our Kitchen turned out better than I could have imagined. His work has become woven into the heritage of our home. Brian is a really nice guy and a true master craftsman (unbelievably, so is everyone on his team). We are so thankful to have found Brian. I will never look for another General Contractor. My only hesitation in writing this positive review is too many people may hire him and he won't have as much time for my future projects.

We recently remodeled some unfinished space in our Shorewood bungalow. We were looking to turn the unfinished space into a master bedroom and bathroom. Brian was really the only contractor that we talked to that was even willing to consider doing the work within our budget. He was very flexible and helped us to get the project under budget. We also needed help with the overall design as this was an unfinished space. He put us in touch with an affordable designed and then we ultimately ended up brining in an engineer as well because we needed to reinforce our floor joists. Brian was very good at communicating throughout the project and we knew exactly what to expect in terms of when payments were due throughout the project timeline. The best part of working with Brian and his team is the quality of the work. While our project may have taken a little longer than we expected, it was definitely worth it. Our bedroom and bathroom turned out better than we expected, and we absolutely love being in this room. Hopefully some pictures go up of our remodel as it's hard to describe how nice this remodel turned out. I can't say enough good things about the work Brian and his team did in our house.

From conceptualization to execution, Brian did an outstanding job turning our drab kitchen nook into a place we love hanging out in. It looks so Scandinavian now! Great craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Positive experience with Brian and his team overall. We needed to replace all of our interior doors, including window and base trim for our upstairs to get everything matching. Further, we needed a custom solution for our basement, which Brian was able to quickly recommend. Brian was able to get us discounted materials, allowing us to get solid wood doors instead of composite or hallow within our budget. Once the materials were available for install, Brian was in regular contact to for scheduling. His team was highly professional, detail oriented, and did a great job of keeping the work areas clean after each days work. I would highly recommend Brian for any home improvement projects you are considering; his pricing is in line with competitors.

We have worked with Brian Terranova and his team multiple times since moving to the Milwaukee area eight years ago. He has done several projects in both our previous house and our current one. I hired a carpenter 18 years ago to do a complete renovation of my duplex in Bayview. I was very pleased with his work and hired him from time to time when I had new small jobs. But he eventually retired and I needed to develop trust and confidence in a new carpenter. I'm pretty fussy and can be hard to please. Bliffert's Lumber recommended Brian at Brian Terranova Construction. I've worked with Bliffert's in the past so trusted their recommendation. I needed two exterior doors and storm doors to be replaced due to water damage. Brian Terranova came every day in a row once he started. It took longer than I would have expected but the workmanship makes my old carpenter look like a middle school wood working student. Brian was meticulous. The water damage made it difficult to diagnose. Brian came across some surprises that required extra work and materials. Some he absorbed and some we agreed on amended pricing. I will definitely ask for Brian's help again when something needs to be done well.

Brian was incredibly attentive to our porch railing needs. He worked harmoniously with the contractors who put in the porch flooring, gave helpful guidance in sourcing materials and determining proper proportions for our railing and kept us apprised of changes in timing and pricing as the project progressed. He always responded promptly to our messages and was super friendly and easy to deal with. Above all, he did the job thoroughly and with the utmost integrity. Highly recommend!

This was our first major interior renovation (new wood floors, countertops, appliances) , so we had lots of questions about the process and what was feasible, etc. Brian was super responsive from our first contact, and quickly replied to all of our many questions about the process during the bid process, which is a big reason why we chose him in the end to do the work. He stayed very responsive throughout the process and kept us up to date. The work was done within the scheduled time frame, which pleasantly surprised us a bit because we’ve heard so many stories of other people’s renovations being extended so often over the initial estimates. This was done quickly, the work was excellent, and we are very pleased.

I can't say enough great things about Brian! My husband and I took on a huge undertaking when we decided to completely reconstruct my grandfather's duplex. We really didn't know what we were getting into and luckily we found Brian as our Framer, who was patient with us and extremely professional. His knowledge made our stressful decision much easier throught the process. We had some bumps along the way with a structural beam and he had no problem communicating with our engineer. Not only was he quick to respond with correspondences bur extremely quick on the job and I MEAN QUICK. My 90 old grandfather who worked in wood working years ago would come just to watch and was completely blown away by how fast and accurate Brian and his team were. He sticks to his word and timeline. Brian and team were easy to work with and did an amazing job on our drywall project. They were respectful of our space and worked cleanly even on such a messy job. The results are great! Cabinet refacing project. Brian and his crew take pride in their work and source materials from quality suppliers. My project came in less than my projected budget. The new cabinet doors and drawer faces and new drawers give the kitchen a brand new look.

Brian did extensive work on our newly-purchased home in the summer and fall of 2018, including a master bathroom full remodel, a large window replacement job (over 20 windows), some minor work in our living room and bedroom (removing built-ins and replacing drywall), and installation of a mantle in our living room. Brian and his crew are perfectionists when it comes to woodwork and craftsmanship, as all work was done to a high and uncompromising standard. Despite the ambitious nature of our projects, all were completed within the estimated budget. Communication is another strength- emails phone calls, and text messages were replied to promptly. Brian does great work. He was very knowledgeable about replacing two very old doors and matching the hardware. He was very professional, which I really appreciated because I live out of state and so was not able to supervise the work. He was timely, the work high quality, and I would highly recommend him.

My wife and I hired Terranova Construction to do extensive carpentry work on our 115+ year old house, including replacing cedar shingles and repairing and replacing detailed trim and other wooden features. Brian and his crew did an excellent job--they showed up when they said they'd be there, stayed on the job until it was finished, cleaned up every day after that day's work and did not exceed the estimates. The crew was conscientious, courteous and skilled. Brian also documented the job well at our request for historic tax credit purposes. Mr. Terranova and his coworkers have done 5 projects in our older home, a bathroom remodeling, total exterior window replacement, laying linoleum flooring, constructing an oak stairway from lower to ground level, and re-pitching exterior gutters. He was sensitive to our budget, and was more than fine with me doing some of my own wall refinishing and painting to save money. He even provided me tools and material to help. We highly recommend them for quality craftsmanship, reasonable prices, courtesy and respect for their customers.
