As our first home renovation project we were overwhelmed about where to start. We had a great experience with Mike and his team from start to finish. They were punctual, thorough, easy to work with and worked hard to help us stay on budget. We are so happy with the results of our finished basement and would highly recommend Brink Home Improvement to others.

Mike and his team were awesome. Our remodel job became more complex as the walls were opened up. He was upfront about repairs needed, and even though it added days to the job, never tried to rush through anything. He made sure everything was done correctly and to our liking. We could not be happier how our bathroom turned out.

Mike worked on demo of kitchen floor — herringbone porcelain tile was installed after old floors were taken out. Mike was clear and detailed in his explanations of the project and we even put in some extra structural support in the basement to accommodate the floor sagging in kitchen (house was built in 1920) ... very happy with the job and would recommend Mike/Brink to anyone looking to get home improvement projects done.

READY TO TACKLE A BATHROOM RENOVATION IN OUR 1960’S ERA HOME, WE REACHED OUT TO SEVERAL CONTRACTORS FOR AN ESTIMATE. MIKE BANGHART, OF BRINK HOME IMPROVEMENT, WAS THE ONLY CONTRACTOR TO REPLY TO OUR INQUIRY. LITTLE DID WE KNOW AT THE TIME HOW FORTUNATE WE WERE. IN SHORT ORDER, WE SCHEDULED A TIME FOR MIKE TO COME AND LOOK AT THE BATHROOM AND GIVE US HIS THOUGHTS. OUR INITIAL MEETING WAS AT LEAST 2 HOURS LONG AND VERY THOROUGH. HE TOOK PAGES OF DETAILED NOTES ABOUT OUR VISION FOR THE PROJECT, OFFERING HIS PROFESSIONAL OPINIONS ALONG THE WAY. IN ADDITION, HE TOOK MULTIPLE MEASUREMENTS AND PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE SPACE TO BE RENOVATED. WE FELT POSITIVE AFTER THAT FIRST MEETING. WITHIN A FEW DAYS, MIKE CONTACTED US WITH AN ESTIMATE AND WE AGREED TO GO FORWARD, USING BRINK FOR OUR PROJECT. THE TRADESMAN THAT MIKE ASSIGNED TO OUR PROJECT, LAINE, WAS EXTREMELY COMPETENT AND A TRUE JACK-OF-ALL-TRADES. HE WAS ALSO FRIENDLY AND TRUSTWORTHY, AND WE FELT VERY COMFORTABLE WITH HIM IN OUR HOUSE. LAINE HANDLED THE MAJORITY OF WORK HIMSELF (DEMO, PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, TILING, PAINTING, ETC.), AND MIKE WOULD OFTEN COME OVER TO GET A STATUS OF THE WORK BEING DONE AND ASSIST WHEN NEEDED. IT WAS A TOTAL RENOVATION, TAKING THE BATHROOM DOWN TO THE STUDS AND FLOOR JOISTS. THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT, THE 4 OF US (MY WIFE AND I, MIKE, AND LAINE) WERE IN CONSTANT COMMUNICATION VIA TEXT, TELEPHONE, OR EMAIL. THAT WAS VERY RE-ASSURING AND HELPFUL. OUR PROJECT WAS COMPLETED IN A TIMELY MANNER AND AT A FAIR COST. THE BATHROOM TURNED OUT BETTER THAN WE HAD IMAGINED – IT IS BEAUTIFUL. ALL FOLLOW-UP QUESTIONS AND DETAILS WERE HANDLED QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. WE REALLY ENJOYED WORKING WITH A LOCAL CONTRACTOR THAT WAS VERY ENGAGING, AND AT THE SAME TIME SUPPORTING A LOCAL BUSINESS IN THE COMMUNITY. MIKE IS VERY DETAIL-ORIENTED, WHICH WE APPRECIATED TROUGHOUT OUR TIME WORKING WITH BRINK. WE WOULD NOT HESITATE TO HAVE MIKE AND BRINK HOME IMPROVEMENT DO MORE PROJECTS FOR US IN THE FUTURE, AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM OTHERS.

Mike had his work cut out for him with my project! Once he began the repairs on what we believed to be a stone patio, he realized that it was made of stamped concrete instead. He quickly shifted gears and got the work completed in a timely manner. He truly went above and beyond. Mike is the type of person who wants a job done right and won't quit until it's perfect! I hired Brink Home Improvement to update a 1980's home. I appreciated his willingness to work with me to choose the best things to address to stay within my budget. His crew was very courteous, timely and willing to tackle difficult tasks. Projects included new bathroom cabinetry and flooring, addition of exhausts in kitchen and baths, gas line installation for a new cooktop. Even though they specialize in kitchens and baths, Mike's overall knowledge about home construction was helpful in addressing some of the surprises inevitably discovered in an older home. Great quality of work and attention to detail. I am very satisfied and I would hire Brink again.

BEWARE! They charged me $220.00 for an estimate to submit to my insurance company after my house flooded. The owner, Michael, looked at my house about 5 minutes then stayed outside on his phone after collecting the quick cash. They never delivered an estimate for the correct repairs. One item on the incorrect list (listed a sink I didn't have) was $3,000.00 for misc. Expenses. They said they were beafing it up for my insurance company. I told them that's not going to fly. All I got were nasty texts from Chrissy when I asked for a correct estimate. They ripped me off.

I manage a wedding venue in the heart of the city. The house for the venue was built in 1846, therefore repairs to the house are on going. Since this is a wedding venue with guests staying in the house, repairs must be done in a timely manner. Mike and his crew have done an excellent job taking care of our structural needs. I highly recommend Brink Home Improvements and renovations.

I grew up in home construction, I have never seen workers so concerned with every detail. Mike has been outstanding in every detail. Very supportive and helpful. And very easy to work with. They uncovered water damage in our laundry room, and made the repairs.

I hired Brink Home Improvement to completely redo two bathrooms. One bathroom had severe structural and water damage in the crawl space. Mike and his crew renovated the 1960's bathrooms and brought them into the 21st century. The work was absolutely stunning. High quality craftsmanship and attention to detail is norm for this company. One other thing, you can leave and go on vacation and not worry about your property. They are very trustworthy. The bathrooms cost around $27,000 for everything including the extensive structural repair. To compare, I received a quote from a company that wanted to charge me $17,000 for one bathroom and I furnish all the materials, including tile, vanity, plumbing fixtures, lighting, etc. Currently, this company is upgrading my screened back porch. This project is going well too. I highly recommend Brink Home Improvement.

We were very please with the work we had done. Mike was very professional and friendly and listened to what we wanted. This was the second time we had hired Mike. After remodel of our master bath, we hired him again to remodel our guest bath. We could not have been more pleased. Both baths turned out even better than we had expected. We would absolutely hire Mike again and recommend him and his work!!!
