“We had two of our bathrooms in our New York apartment done by MyHome Renovations. The process took about 7 1/2 months from contract signing to completion. Admittedly longer than I thought it would be but we are new to New York City renovations and had no idea of what was involved to make it all happen. That aside, all the people we worked with were wonderful. Ben was our initial contact. He came to our apartment and we discussed the project. He was knowledgeable, friendly and got the proposal to us quickly. Rejla, our designer was a delight to work with. She was professional yet so approachable and considerate of my wishes. I had a vision for the bathrooms and she helped me realize them. She worked tirelessly to do all the things designers need to do to make it all happen. Sourcing was a challenge as I knew what I wanted and it wasn’t always easy to find them, but she was always there for me with her beautiful smile. She made me feel like I was her only client when I know she had many projects going on. Danny, our project manager was also pleasure to work with. Friendly, professional and caring. I felt like he was looking out for me in the best possible way. We had some delays along the way, but all in all it moved along. He went above and beyond when he needed to and kept the project moving. Goga and Otto were amazing along with the rest of the crew. Thank you all for making my dream come true. From designing the layout, selection of materials, preparation for demolition, day of demolition, coordination of different experts, construction and finishing, to various town inspections, the team at JMC makes the renovation went smoothly and the bathrooms turned out exactly as the desired layout and design. Keeping rest of the house clean and minimizing dust were also important, as we were living and working in the house while the renovation was going on.
