My name is, Dana Ayler, d.b.a. Cabinets Etc. By Design the etc. means many more design specialties offered, you’ll find what makes us unique.
We have been steadily conducting cabinetry business with Woodharbor Inc. since 1978, for over 40 years! The Woodharbor Inc. founders & owners are The Lewereke Brothers who run a family-owned business. We are their oldest and most experienced Woodharbor Dealer in the Western States!
We maintain California and Nevada State Contractors’ Licenses for: building, engineering, and millwright services. We are also highly trained as designers, millwrights, and installers for cabinetry and all kitchen fixtures. We are also trained to know the State Building Codes: structural, plumbing, electrical, hoods, lighting, and more. Most cabinetry professionals will not be as thorough as us.
We are highly trained to artistically hand draw, one-of-a-kind, premium projects. All the upper 5% of designers worldwide currently draw exclusively by hand to create beautiful pieces of work that lead to more originality and newer/ fresher concepts. Hand Drawn results are capable of the wow factor and far superior detailed shop drawings that go directly to Woodharbor, for much more refined production.
If we can design & engineer IT, they will build IT! All we need is imagination! 40 Years of Experience with the same company brings so many wonderful advantages!

Dana Ayler is a true master-craftsman. He refinished my entrance door so that it looks like new. He said it is a one-of-a-kind custom -made oak door with hand-cut leaded glass in the the door and side panels. He was delightful to talk with and told me several stories about how the door was built. It really sets off the front of the house.
He has built a tremendous set of knowledge and skill over his career. I would recommend him for any project he is willing to undertake.
As it turns out, he designed and built this door for the original owner of my house, 35 years ago.

Dana Ayler for Cabinets, Etc by Design has been working for us for over 4 years on a variety of projects. He has refurbished our fireplace mantle, staircases, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, and floors. He completely refurbished our hand carved front door. We have Brazilian cherry wood and Mahogany in our house. He is an old style craftsman that believes in hard work and loves what he does. He is very knowledgeable and a stickler for details. We will continue to use him for all our wood working projects. We trust Dana completely and would recommend him to everyone. I know that in our neighborhood he has remodeled several kitchens and they are beautiful.

Dana Ayler is hands down THE BEST! We gutted & remodeled a kitchen and bathroom and hired Dana for the design and cabinets. He came up with a fabulous design with many things we wouldn’t have thought of! The drawings were nothing short of spectacular! Everything came out so beautiful! He is a miracle worker!!! We almost used a big box store and I’m so glad we didn’t!! The box store computers and “designers” are so inferior to what Dana does. That was evident on our first meeting with Dana as the first 2 design questions he asked were “How tall are you and are you right-handed or left-handed?”. Genius, right?! Every single thing he designs, be it low end, high end, or inbetween, he designs like a MASTER CRAFTSMAN!!
We loved how Dana constantly kept checking the contractor’s work to make sure they were following his plans correctly. He doesn’t leave you when the drawings are done. He made sure any mistakes happened were immediately corrected. The few minor mishaps that happened were when the workers didn’t follow Dana’s plans correctly. Dana even caught a ten watt diffence in the undercabinet lights much to the electrician’s chagrin!
Dana is in a league of his own!!
