Jay did an excellent job completing a bathroom renovation I had started. It was down to the studs and he turned it into a beautiful space. This included a walk-in shower using the schluter waterproofing system with natural stone, beveled tiles, and heated floors. I liked that we went through details and if choices needed to be made we discussed them.

Cahill Remodeling did an excellent job on our bathroom. His tile work in our new shower and floor is exceptional. He was flexible throughout the project as modification were required after demolition to punch list cleanup items for the cabinets and countertop near the end of the project.

Can't express our pleasure or appreciation enough for the work done by Jay and his team. He did a bathroom extension and remodeling to turn a powder room into a full bathroom. All along the way he kept my wife and I appraised of the status, along with full disclosure of potential (and actual) challenges that needed to be addressed. The job required demolition of the concrete floor, updated plumbing, building out the room, tiling -- shower wall and bathroom floor, shower floor & door installation, and electrical work. In the end, Jay managed to keep the project within the original budget and time-frame of completion. Truly I couldn't be happier with writing this review or making a full recommendation of Jay and his work.

He followed through with a proposal same day. The quote was fair and inclusive. The work was completed with 4 days of first response.

Called Cahill Remodeling and explained what we wanted. Jay came to my home a couple of days later, looked it over, took some measurements,etc. The next morning I received an e-mail with a contract for my job. I accepted. A week later he returned and did the job exactly as we required. There were no problems, no misunderstandings, no "I can't make it today" stuff. You know what I mean. Cahill Remodeling Inc is a very professional company. I highly recommend them.

I'm not sure what happened to my excellent review of Jay's work at my house in 2016. The pictures that are on Jay's site of the screened in porch is my house and it shows why it is our favorite room in our house. In the late summer of 2016 I notice ant damage to our porch and asked Jay to repair the problem. Jay exposed all of the damage which was extensive and Jay was patient with us as we planned how to repair our porch. He saved our porch and the roof just in time from total collapse. The wood was replaced with PVC, beautifully designed and painted to our liking. His workmanship is excellent and the results are amazing. He arrives everyday at 8AM and works until 5PM and cares for our property before and after as he does the work. I am fully confident to leave our home in his care as we do our personal running around. He has been doing may repairs to our home since 2010. I highly recommend him.

New to the area, with NO knowledge of the resources in PA (recently moved from NJ) - after much anxiety as to who to contact regarding construction of a deck in our small, older home, we were LUCKY to have (accidentally) found Cahill Remodeling. Jay Cahill is now our FOREVER contractor. He just completed our beautiful deck - a job which included installation of access doors and small window in the kitchen. Ours was not an easy job (i.e., masonry walls covered with siding), but Jay took the time to conduct preliminary inspections prior to providing estimates, offered several options to meet budget constraints and provided every possible suggestion to have the job meet our highest expectations. Jay Cahill is insightful, inventive, precise, patient, thorough - and may be defined as a professional in every conceivable way. We are VERY grateful to have found him and consider him a new friend as well.

We have been using Jay Cahill since 2009 for many projects. The first was our downstairs bathroom shower which was made larger in a very tight space. Then he repaired floor joints in our basement as well as new cellar windows. Ants made our side porch unsafe and he totally replaced the screening, supports, door etc including planting making the porch a beautiful feature of our home all while supporting the A frame roof. 2 yrs ago ants again attacked our garage. He replaced the supporting structure as well as the siding all in all doing a beautiful job. He is currently working on another repair project of our front door and replacing just the window sash saving me the cost of replacing the entire window. He also created a needed step out front out of brick to match our existing front patio. He does it all. His prices are fair. He works with you as you imagine what the job needs to make it the best. His quality is superb. I found Jay from a plumber who recommended him. The plumber was recommended to me through a former work associate. I highly recommend him as he really cares about his work.

Jay did a full kitchen gut and remodel for us in 2009 and we've been using him for all the carpentry and renovation work around our home since then. He is easy to work with and takes the time to understand your vision. When something you want can't be done (code issues, etc...), he's able to offer alternatives. Jay stays within budget and gives reasonable estimates for how long a project will take. He cares about the finished product and takes the time needed to do the job right. Jay always cleans up the worksite at the end of the day, making living in a "construction zone" much more tolerable. I am confident to recommend Jay Cahill for any home renovation project. His work is top notch.
