California Bay Builders were outstanding professionals, our project was a full custom built 850 sq. ft. accessory dwelling unit with functional kitchen and bathroom spaces. It was not a small project and the construction professionals, led by Idan, did a great job of organizing, explaining details and processes and through many of the changes I had requested along the road. Most importantly I felt very comfortable due to the constant contact I had with Idanand department supervisors. They always answered my questions and addressed my concerns. We worked with Idan to remodel our master suite which included moving some walls, relocating the laundry room, and the master closet. They also did a full master bath remodel. I can't say that everything went smoothly, as things will inevitably come up with any major remodel. Especially on a house, but everything was handled professionally. All the issues were addressed in a timely manner and with full transparency on timing and costs. (Rare!!) I'm extremely happy with the final masterpiece! Idan was very accommodating, and the foreman Jay was professional, sympathetic, and quick to address any concerns that came up. This company is open during covid-19 and followed all the proper steps for me and my family. They wore mask and gave us a great break down of the the 2 bathroom remodels would be done. My family are thankful they were able to help us so soon as the project has been on hold for some time. With the leak problems we felt there was also some mold around the vanity as well. DH Remodel and Idan the owner are top notch contractors and can do it all. Based on the services and install for our home I can honestly say we couldn't be happier with the finished product. DH Remodel did a wonderful job in our kitchen from top to bottom. We've had them do work during COVID times and they've made it very safe, are great about wearing masks the entire day. The experience of working with the design team (shon) was spectacular! (very detail oriented). All went smooth through a WhatApp group communication and daily log on our shared Google Drive. Kitchen remodeling is tough and choosing the write company was tough as they all told me they could do it. The end result was using Idan at DH Remodel because I wanted to work with him. He was very easy going like me and knew exactly what I wanted . He saw my vision and made it happen. Job took about 1 month which is expected for a kitchen remodel our size and the backsplash was done so nicely. We got a lot of great compliments for our new kitchen and highly recommend working with Idan if you need a new kitchen done right.

We recently completed a kitchen remodel with Idan and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. He is the kind of person you want to work with. Super responsive and flexible. When you ask for details or advise, he is always happy to answer but never bores you with technical details. We had to postpone the construction due to COVID and work from home situation and he was very understanding and flexible. When we rented another place to stay, they immediately started the work next day and every day of the week, there were people working at home from 7am till 5-6 pm which resulted in completing the project way ahead of schedule. In another occasion, we noticed a problem right after removing cabinets where there was an unexpected AC fan house. Idan came up with a creative solution to move it which avoided any re-planning for cabinets and kept the extra space in the kitchen that we very much needed. After I met and checked 3 different constraction companies I decided to work with DH Remodel, Remodeling and I did the right choice. From the beginning Idan opened a WhatsApp group (it was great for the communication) , helped to creat architectural and structural plans and took care of about everything until we got the permit. Finding a contractor you can trust isn't easy but after I took time to research I found DH Remodel and Idan the owner. This was the smoothest kitchen remodel ever. Everything was on time and exceeded my expectations. Hired DH Remodeling for my bathroom remodel. These guys were incredibly knowledgeable and creative when it came to the design. They worked on a nice render for me and everything was exactly what I wanted. This gave me confidence that they actually listened to my idea and vision. Idan and the team have been amazing. They took on a massive project to make our home accessible for our kid who uses a wheelchair. They built an accessible bathroom, built ramps around the house and made sure the bathroom door was able to accommodate a wheelchair. So far - Excellent choice for ADUs! I'm early in the process with DH Remodeling, but worth sharing my experience so far: - ADU expertise: the team has tons of experience with ADUs, making it easy to get comfortable with the project, even for newbies. They have a robust set of prepared plans that fit most cases. In a quick meeting, we made modifications to fit my situation, with Idan providing incredible field-and-experience-based ideas & insights. So the combo of prior work and an effort to streamline the process is really showing - Integrated team: the agreement with DH is all-inclusive, and more importantly the team operates as a unified unit, which I believe will dramatically reduce friction. These projects are notorious for delays based on coordination (or lack thereof) challenges between parties, so having the team do many things in-house and repeatedly working with the same contractors is likely to deliver substantial time and effort efficiencies - Interactions with municipalities: IDAN and team have substantial experience working with municiplabilitecs and are proactive in ensuring process goes as smooth as possible; they are very familiar and attune to requirements and regulations of each municipality which I believe will pay dividends during the process So far the experience has been incredible - I will make sure to update as the project moves from planning to execution

They were so professional and punctual, I had my kitchen counter tops and faucet redone as well as replacing some rotten wood from under the sink. We had a great experience remodeling our 2 bathroom's with DH Remodeling. They provided us with a Very details estimate, and explained what would happen in case of contingencies - which we fully expected - given a 70 year old home. Sure enough, after they did the demolition, it became clear we had some dry rot. They came up with a plan to deal with it. Later, not unexpectedly but on a Sunday, the water heater died. They arranged to have it replaced the next day. There were a number of other unexpected issues, so the project took longer than originally planned and was considerably more expensive - but all of these changes led to much needed improvements to our home. There were a few cases where placement of (for instance) light fixtures and shower niches were difficult to do given the placement of supporting beams in the wall. In these cases our project leader worked closely with us to explain options. In the end we were able to get the bathroom arranged to our wishes. We really enjoy our beautiful new 2 bathroom's!

We were also on a time crunch as we wanted to move out of our apt ASAP .Idan met with us the week before we got the keys to the house, listened to what we had envisioned for the kitchen, and most importantly, understood our timeline very well. He gave us an estimate of 10 weeks, and despite some hiccups (not DH fault - we discovered some problems with the house), DH Remodeling were able to complete precisely on time. During this 10 week process, Idan and his associates kept us updated with status reports, pictures, and videos. We got updates almost every 1-2 days. We would meet in person weekly and Idan or sam would walk us through what was done. They were readily available to answer any questions we had. We hired DH Remodel in the summer of 2020 to gut and remodel a master bath and install a sliding glass door. Idan the construction manager was very transparent with us about the timeline and the steps and costs. Everything was done exactly as he said. We started with the kitchen and then did the bathroom after three kitchen was done. They worked as promised, did the work beautifully and the project was managed from beginning to end. They helped me find a countertop that I really liked and I can honestly say that everything was done to perfection! My kitchen is beautiful, bigger, and much more user friendly now since it has been planned correctly. My bathroom is a dream come true: the bathroom looks nothing like the old one I had! The design and style is much more modern and the lighting adds so much to the overall bright look of the bathroom. 6 Remodeling a home can be a really daunting task; even a relatively new home. Which is why I lost a few night's sleep in anticipation of remodeling our Kitchen and 3 Bathrooms (Guest, Jack & Jack, and Master) last May when we started on this journey. But that was then... and this is now. After around 4 months of designs & demolitions, purchasing & planning, coordinating, construction & completions... we unveiled and are now enjoying a masterpiece! And DH Remodeling, led by Idan and crews helped orchestrate the whole beautiful symphony of form, function and perfection. My Love and I wrote the sheet music... but DH Remodeling performed it beautifully! The first phase of remodeling was envisioned and completed two years ago... to great success. The home has been completely re-formatted from a dull 1990s (white woods and marble) look. The first phase was done to great success. Then the challenge... we needed to finish the rest. And it needed to be as good as the first phase. And that proof has been the applause we've received from friends and family who have seen the final results... Even every contractor who participated along the way. I bought this home 4 years ago, after I just saw the backyard alone. Seriously. The previous owners put a veritable fortune in time and money to the outside of this home. And as the inside had the required amount of rooms and space, I told my realtor on the spot, "I want this." I was serious. It's not that there was anything wrong with the inside of the home -- but it was SO 1996. It needed a facelift. Two years ago, we upped the "wow factor" several degrees, when we ripped up all the flooring, main stairway, rails, and banisters, several fixtures, complete interior paint job... and replaced it all with amazing wood floors, a Porcelanosa kitchen floor, and incredibly artistic fixtures. We were halfway home. Our style is Restoration Hardware meets Transitional meets Industrial. Truly a CLASSIC look that never gets old. We met with a couple other general contractors, but no one seemed to really "get it". They were run-of-the-mill , typical, local journeymen. Nothing wrong with that. They may have done an adequate job. But we were looking for more than just functional. We wanted Function AND Form. That's where DH Remodelimg fit in. Already feeling a little let-down by the visits from other contractors, who seemed confident enough to handle a set of tools, an associate recommended one more group she just had a great experience with. So we figured, why not. Enter Idan and DH Remodeling. We met Idan one evening at our home around dinner time. Unlike every other technician or craftsman you meet today, Idan entered our home with a clean uniform (OK, it was a clean, company polo shirt with logo; and a matching hat) and an equally sunshiny personality. But the real kind of sunshine and confidence... not the used car salesman type. We sat at the kitchen table and Idan actively listened to our vision for a full 10 minutes, before he chimed in. He showed genuine interest in what we had to say; and then replied in kind with great suggestions, professional, AND creative responses. It was like meeting with a Designer, Architect, Builder, AND Shopper all rolled into one personality! And we had that VERY same hybrid personality throughout the ENTIRE remodel process. By the end of the conversation (about an hour), we were so excited and comfortable with Idan, we invited him to join us for dinner. And he did! Before the work was complete months later, we were referring to Idan as family. And each individual we worked with from DH Remodeling was just as trustworthy and loyal, so much so, that even during the most stressful parts of demolition and construction -- we fully entrusted our home to them. I'm not saying it was easy. Remodeling a kitchen and 3 bathrooms is a pretty big task. A pretty big mess sometimes. But that's why you DO go with a more professional company, and qualified individuals. I'm not going to get too specific about the economics of the job. It's my HOME. If I was looking for the cheapest route, I would have hired a couple journeymen and made the mistake of trying to act as General Contractor myself. But, if you personally need surgery... do you just look for the cheapest way to get the job done!? So, WHY would you ever do that to the closest extension of yourself... your Home!? I didn't need to compare dollars. I was looking for efficiency, style, professional, turn-key performance! DH Remodeling accomplished that. And Idan accompanied us and this remodel EVERY STEP of the way. He SHOPPED with us for EVERY detail... from faucets to fixtures to paint colors, cabinets and tiles. We received discounts at quality vendors... but more importantly, we secured quality, beautiful products. We staged, demo'd and constructed for 4 months. The work was completed without delay and within budget. And the final product was/is a Masterpiece!!

They started with demolition work: removed old tiles, soaking tub, sink & vanity, toilet, linen closet. remodeling 3.5 bathrooms in the same time is not an easy task, we were very impressed how they managed to keep the house clean during the demolition work. Workers were very professional, polite & really tidy. They hovered the floors at the end of every day of their work. They installed new flooring, dry wall, bath tub with glass shower screen, vanity, recess lights and all other bathroom accessorize, tiling looks really good. We are very happy with our modern and clean looking bathrooms. We have decided to supply most of the material ourselves: tiles, soaking tub, vanity, counter top, faucet, glass bath tub screen etc.. Another outstanding job by DHRemodeling!! I had used DH for remodeling my kitchen, and 2 bathrooms, and decided to pull the trigger on doing an addition/expansion to living room, and putting pavers in the backyard. This was not an easy decision, but once the decision was made, DH Remodeling was the only choice. The quality of their work is second to none, and I'm very happy with the finished product. The project took ~5 months, but would've been 4 months if not for initial inspection delays. Workers cleaned up everyday prior to leaving, which made the experience that much nicer. VERY happy!! We were in no hurry to find the right company to put in a walk in shower, a few months even. We finally settled on DH remodeling for our tub to shower conversion. Idan and Sam came out to our house showing us a lot of options. With Sam’s meticulous attention to detail in building it (Sam discovered a tiny, pinhole leak in a copper pipe behind the wall that could have been disastrous down the road and replaced all the old pipes) and Idan unique touch and advice to a very nice décor, we now have a beautiful walk in shower that is crazy easy to keep clean and enjoy for the rest of our lives. I keep an ordinary shop cloth handy to wipe all the hardware down after the shower to keep water stains away, all done in about thirty seconds. Whenever you want, the water spots on the acrylic are easily wiped away with the same dry towel. Do it fairly regularly, and no more elbow grease scrubbing or harsh chemicals. We couldn’t be happier! We purchased our new home in 2012 and were talking about putting in a new shower pretty much from the day we moved in. We looked at all the box stores for ideas and prices for materials. We could not agree on anything. we contacted different sources for help to find a contractor, A few days later we received a call for a estimate. I wanted to wait until 6 mos after our master bedroom remodels before writing a review to make sure we were still pleased and not having any problems. We initially met with David who was very knowledgeable and a great salesman. Decided to tackle both bathrooms instead of 1. we were rescued by David (and Sam) who took over and made things happen. My overall experience with DH remodeling was very positive and I'm really happy. After Visiting one of their competitors beforehand I knew the minute I walked in their door I was in the right place. They were both warm and friendly, very knowledgeable but not pushy. I can't say enough about the two gentleman who performed the work (Tom- Megel). After meeting several prospective contractors for my room addition project, I hired DH Remodeling for the following reasons: 1) Their professional sales presentation, 2) a visual simulation showing what my end results look like before project even starts, and 3) the end-to-end solution and excellent value DH Remodeling provides. My project consists of adding a master bedroom and a dining room to the existing house, and converting an existing small bedroom into a spacious master bath and plenty of closet space Idan is one of the owners of the company and the general contractor for my project. He is extremely responsive, professional and good at listening to what we need and then translate our wish list into beautiful designs. He is also very flexible and accommodated several rounds of changes during the planning phase. Because of the careful prep work Idan and team did, the building permit was approved in record time and the project started way ahead of schedule. Many building materials have been pre-ordered but delivered just in time to allow the work to progress at a constant speed without costly waiting. I have done small home remodeling before, but I have to say idancrew is one of the best organized and hardest working crew I've ever worked with. They constantly exceed my expectation by going extra mile to get the job done right. Seven weeks into the project, the exterior of the addition is almost done. I am very happy with the work so far and looking forward to the completion of my project before the holidays. Definitely recommend to consider DH Remodeling if you have a home improvement project to tackle.

After four estimates I decided to hire DH Remodel to do my kitchen remodeling. Idan(the owner) showed up to the first appointment and was very knowledgeable with the process of the remodeling and answered every question i had. He showed up to the second meeting and surprised us with a beautiful design which is exactly the way my kitchen looked like when they finished the process. He gave us a reasonable price and the communication with him was pretty easy (e-mail,text,phone). I was very satisfied with the way they work because they kept it very clean and used those thick nylons where construction needed to be done so my house wont get messy and dirty, i didnt have to be home at the time they worked there, i just left them a key at a lockbox we used through the process of the remodeling. Very reliable company, I would definitely use them again.

We hired DH Remodeling to build an addition and do a full home remodel. Idan the compny owner was ( Lucky us) our project manager and he was great to work with. He was easy to communicate with, and tried to work during the planning and proposal phase. JOSE, the construction foreman, and his crew, were also always friendly and professional. The end results are beautiful and the project was on-time and on-budget for the most part, but it wasn’t completely painless. It’s not like an HGTV show where you just hand off the project, they do all the work, and you come back to a completely perfect home. While Idan gives great design idan provide us 3D design, and suggests places to shop at where he gets discounts, he even send his designer to shop with us and its was very efficiency(save us allot of time and money) the job done on time and we so happy with resolts ,. Overall, it was a good experience with great results, and we highly recommend DH Remodeling and IDAN you was great thnks allot.

No 2nd quote! Yes! I signed my first ADU contract with DH! Either Sam and his team are too good, or I am too blind trusting, and so far, I think it is the former. Sam took me to work sites, and had me meeting designer Shon, on phone with his manager, Idan. The team works very well together. I like that. Sam has the ability to remove all the doubts and questions I have, and he is a creative problem solver I did not mark a 5 star because we just started. Sometimes, Joey don't reply my text right away, I understand that everybody is busy, and I don't immediately reply everything either, and on issues gating the progress, Sam is very responsive. All in all, things look good.
