So here are the real facts.
First off this project was estimated in the contract for 14 business days before the following situations popped up.
A. You added three whole walls of tile. Essentially doubling the project size.
B. Your electric was inadequate and desperately needed an upgrade. So we both agreed while your kitchen ceiling and walls in the bathroom were open that would be the best time to install chase for the electric. Therefore my job had to pause while we allowed the electrician to run all new wires for your entire upstairs. We also had to add a vent pipe through your roof to fix an existing problem because it was never properly vented before and you were complaining about a gurgling sound when you did laundry all the time so once walls were open we assessed and fixed that.
As for your light fixture the knee wall that was existing could not be modified it was part of the existing structure and had vent pipes running through it, for that reason it had to remain. You desperately wanted that wall removed and when it couldn’t be done your demeanor changed and became bitter.
A key factor you left out of your review was the walls were an old tile job that were 3 inches thick of concrete. There was 3000 pounds of concrete on your wall according to the scales at the dump and there was no way to see what was in the wall until after the demo was done. We were able to use the main part of your vanity and find a solution of three hanging lights in the front of the mirror. So that statement is just not true.
The electrician you went with was not my electrician. The electrician I normally do work with was busy so we presented you with two phone numbers of electricians working on other jobs we were on. You chose the one you liked the best and you seemed to be very happy with his pricing. I had asked you several times about the electrician you went with and you said he was very fair and nice.
To end of this message I wanted to recap several points,
A . The job was estimated for three weeks
B. All sorts of obstacles got in our way. The job became bigger than anticipated. WE presented solutions for all problems. I never moved forward with any changes without your consent and a new game plan was figured out.
C. I had to work around an electrician I never worked with before.
D. Had to add vent pipes going through the roof.
E.Framed out downstairs kitchen ceiling waited for electrician to run several high hat lights , sheet rocked taped and painted ceiling.
Houzz can vouch for me when I say I been requesting your review since I finished the project. I dealt with all of the above with the extra work and was only one week past my original timeline all the while maintaining my professionalism and in your words I am a real (nice guy). The reality is, there was only one shower in your home and it was a bigger burden then you expected.
Truth is I did receive a phone call about your soap dish and did say I was going to come back. You know what i was going through with my daughter at the time forgive me it slipped my mind but we only spoke once on it . I FORGIVE your harsh words above and would love the opportunity to address anything you are not happy with. (518) 669-6583 just give me a call. A year and a half later with a bad false review is not righteous. As a Christian company I am proud to say God is great. And I love how God grants me the patience to deal with situations that are challenging in not only in my personal life, but business as well. Have a blessed day.
