Carpets Plus/ Cabinets Plus of Saint Louis

Our Master Bath remodel in August 2017 was the most enjoyable project we have done at our house, primarily due to the support and professional attention we received from Shawn Yaeger of Carpets Plus/Cabinets Plus of St. Louis. Shawn is extremely knowledgeable with great design understanding and was able to take our very basic concepts and turn them into a beautiful new space in our home. They have a large variety of top quality building and remodeling products by numerous manufacturers from which to choose. This allowed us to find exactly the right combination of tiles, counter tops, sinks, vanity, faucets, etc. Importantly, Shawn was able to stay under our $25,000 budget for this extensive 10’ x 15’ bathroom remodel. The installation was smooth and completed on time and also within budget. Shane Yaeger and his crew did a beautiful job and we particularly appreciated the attention to detail and professional results of his tiler Scott. I highly recommend this Company to anyone who is considering a bathroom, kitchen or other home remodel project, as well as those who are building new.

In designing the build-out of the lower level of our home, I consulted with Shawn Yeager of Carpets Plus in St. Louis. I wanted a 15 foot back bar with the look and feel of a bar—not a kitchen. Shawn had ideas to improve upon my basic plan which resulted in a very impressive and functional bar. When I share photos of the completed project, the common response is “that bar is in your house?!” Shawn’s many years of design and sales experience is evident in the result and we could not be more pleased. Our association with Shawn Yeager and Carpets Plus/Cabinets Plus of St. Louis began approximately four years ago when we were contemplating the remodeling of our 1970's kitchen/family room. After contacted other designers, we were not satisfied with their plans or their product. On our first visit Shawn listened to what we thought we wanted and immediately showed a sample of an available cabinet door style which was perfect. He then furnished a number of magazines in which his work was fully illustrated and urged us to take them home and take our time to check out his finished product. Shawn then visited our home, took measurements, offered some suggestions and ideas as to arrangement and additions to what we had in mind. We liked most of his ideas and found he had many "do's, don'ts, not possible" which we had not even considered. At no time was there pressure to use only his ideas. Shawn then drew three computer plans (at no cost) with 3D perspectives of our future kitchen and asked us to pick one and add or subtract or change anything we wanted. After this he finalized the overall plan, and he then spent a great deal of care in selecting the placement of each cabinet and each of the drawers. With this, we had a final plan of a very efficient, well organized, and more spacious kitchen. From this, a detailed estimate was done which included materials and labor. We signed the contract and work began promptly six weeks later as promised. When it came time for colors, textures, and designs, Shawn had an uncanny ability to meet our expressed desires almost immediately, choosing from the many samples and materials he maintains at Carpets Plus/Cabinets Plus. The whole process from day one was easy and enjoyable. The kitchen project was started and completed on time. During the project, deadlines were met and all went smoothly. Shawn was an efficient and competent manager and planner and it was a pleasure to work with him. In June 2015 we were so pleased the planning and outcome of our 1970"s kitchen we selected Shawn and Carpets Plus/Cabinets Plus to update our 1970's bathrooms. Again Shawn listened to our ideas and followed through with his professional suggestions and recommendations. One suggestion he made was to extend the master bedroom shower by tearing out a wall, remove water heater flu, put a light over the shower and use clear glass in the shower doors. This made the room appear much larger and with the white onyx shower walls and brushed metal fixtures, the room is definitely an example of Shawn's professional capability. We are very pleased with everything Shawn accomplished and highly recommend him to everyone contemplating a remodeling whether big or small.

My experience with Carpets Plus/Cabinets Plus was very satisfying. I have 2 beautiful bathrooms, 1 kitchen, 2 bedrooms, hallway, foyer that was done in the last year. The house is 50 years old and needed a facelift. I wish I had done it sooner. But it is better late than never! This was split into 2 projects - August thru December, 2014 - The 2 bathrooms & kitchen were done. May thru September, 2015 - Two bedrooms and a foyer were done. They were very professional and easy to work with!

Provided a complete kitchen remodel. Included removal of all old cabinets, removal of a half wall to open kitchen and living room, removal of old light fixtures. New cabinets installed, half wall built out with columns, new appliances and sinks, granite counter tops and new backsplash. Replaced lighting with canned lighting throughout. Removed all old flooring in living room, office and kitchen and installed hardwood flooring throughout all rooms. Shawn was great to work with. He communicated each step, made recommendations to help me make decisions; was available after hours, based on my schedule. I appreciated that he shared options but never pressured me to make decisions to increase costs and in some cases recommended against a more expensive option when appropriate. Took me to select granite and backsplash. Contractors did a great job of doing the work and cleaning up each day. Addressed any concerns that I had (that were minimal). They were always on time and friendly. Shawn monitored the work, answered any questions and made sure that everything was done to my satisfaction. Extremely satisfied with the work they did and will use them again in the future.

Shawn Yaeger with carpets plus was awesome to work with. He knew what my taste was and gave me several options and my cabinets and kitchen tile look wonderful.

We contracted with Cabinets Plus to replace our kitchen. We had all new cabinets and appliances installed with Cambria Quartz Counter Tops. The new kitchen design provided us with a significant increase in counter space and storage and accommodated our desire to have a HD Television with cable box centered over the work area. Cabinets Plus worked with us in designing the new kitchen and in choosing the cabinets, drawer pulls, counters, appliances, sink, faucet and back-splash. The work was performed in a very professional way and we are very happy with the final kitchen design and implementation.

Yaeger Contracting & Cabinets Plus remodeled our kitchen, added a beautiful new island, added a windows, remodeled a bedroom & closet, and upgrade canned lighted all rooms. They are courteous and their work is meticulously well done. We couldn't be happier with their services and level of professionalism. We'd gladly use their services again in the future.
