“We’ve used A & B for quite a few projects the past few years and they’ve been great for all of them. Our biggest project involved adding a shower to a half bath, remodeling the new bathroom and our other full bathroom, and full kitchen remodel. They were here a good chunk of our summer because it was a big job, and even our neighbors noticed how they showed up every day! Everything still looks/works great! We’ve also had a couple smaller projects, like replacing a back door and mailbox, as well as replacing/repairing most of our front porch. All the guys who have come out have been polite, on time, and overall, just really great people. Derek is always quick to respond to questions/concerns and is always mindful of our budget. A & B has been great for us and I highly recommend them for any project, big or small.”

“Jacob Shidler (of Haywood) performed a medium-sized remodel of my residence in Mason OH area. Replaced 1st floor carpet with new vinyl plank (floating) flooring throughout entire 1st floor, installed all new kitchen appliances, upgraded lighting in kitchen and 1st floor, and performed a number of other home repairs and door replacements. I am very satisfied with the results. The flooring looks great; the kitchen and dining room areas had many nooks/crannies and this made the floor install more difficult, but it came out looking great. Can lights replaced track lights; they were installed properly and look great. He replaced a rotted outside door with a new door with polymer trim that won't rot (no maintenance!) and repaired a sagging front storm door so that it now closes properly. Jacob was a great source of knowledge and different remodel options; he gave us a couple of options that we liked better than what we were thinking, and we went with his ideas instead. Very glad we did. Also, Jacob was very good to work with. We changed our minds at one point and he was patient while we figured out the direction we need to go; he just worked on other parts of the project in the meantime. He met our preferences on many details. Best of all, Jacob was RELIABLE. Cannot stress this enough. Jacob always showed up when he stated he would, and kept us informed on what part of project was scheduled to be worked on , and when it would be completed; and he stuck to the schedule. He has returned promptly to finish up some minor items that still required work. Having worked with contractors in the past, I know that many (not all) contractors can be knuckleheads, and work on your project part-time while juggling other jobs, or never get around to returning to finish punch list items, or cut corners on quality.. Jacob did none of that nonsense. Finally, his quotes were very reasonable, and his work added high value to our house. I highly recommend Jacob Shidler and rate him 10 out of 10. 1 more thing-Jacob recycles old building materials when possible, sometimes for donated causes.”
