Christine and Colorado Kitchen Design did a great job in designing my kitchen and providing cabinets for my whole house. My cabinets have a very clean, sophisticated look that fits the design I wanted in my house. Christine also added several touches to the cabinet design to focus on functionality. Ordering cabinets during Covid was particularly challenging with long lead times. Christine worked closely with my designer to ensure we ordered at the right time to take into account the extended lead-times. After delivery, she was diligent in fixing any issues we had post install to ensure I had the best experience and got the design we all planed for.

One of our cabinets was damaged and it was ordered and replaced immediately. As a Realtor, I can't recommend them enough. They also have a beautiful showroom to make your choices so easy.

Worked with CKD on bringing our 1980’s kitchen into the modern age (see before and after) Jon was patient, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. His expertise went beyond the kitchen to help me find contacts for flooring, tile and our General Contractor. He brought my vision to life, and for all the work and nerves that go into a project this size, I never had anything to worry about. Jon’s communication was proactive and thorough, and timelines were met. Kitchen renovations are not cheap, and I feel that every dollar spent was more than worth it, thanks to Jon and the CKD team.

Our company has worked with Jill and Jonathan of Colorado Kitchen Designs on two out of state residential projects and we intend to continue working with them on several future projects. Throughout the process, from initial design, to ordering, and delivery, they have been great to work with. Their designs are top notch and they have good recommendations for the best way to utilize spaces. Being that our projects are out of state, Jill and Jonathan have utilized video calls to see our projects and we send them sketches with measurements. There have been spaces where we tried to come up with our own floor plan and they just didn't work. Jill and Jonathan saw our sketch and came back with an ingenious design that we hadn't thought of. Communication is clear, consistent, and timely. When we encountered a bump here or there they showed integrity and made everything right. As builders, we’ve worked with CKD for years. It’s a wonderful family business that takes a practical, and personal approach when working with clients. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is done right. They have great ideas, are up on the trends, but don’t charge the outrageous prices some kitchens design firms do. Designing a new kitchen can be intimidating but CKD is extremely approachable, and they really listen to what their clients want. Never pushy. Highly recommended!

Jill Ellis of Colorado Kitchen Design recently helped us with a kitchen remodel and we couldn’t be happier with both the process and the final result. Jill is a wonderful listener, creative problem-solver, and has excellent resources for everything that one might need for such an endeavor (in our case cabinetry, quartz, tile, and hardware). The new layout is so much more functional than the old one and the materials really are beautiful. There were no surprises in re: to costs and the very few small issues that arose were immediately addressed efficiently and expertly with no significant impact on the projected timeline. We have experience with a prior kitchen remodel as well as with new home construction, so know something about how such things can go. Jill and Colorado Kitchen Design will be the first we reach out to for any and all of our future remodeling needs.

My experience with Colorado Kitchen Designs began reasonably well but then deteriorated rapidly. At the beginning, they were helpful, if slow to respond to calls and emails. I picked out a beautiful (and expensive) master bathroom vanity that consisted of 5 cabinets and put 50% down on August 15th. The turnaround time was quoted as 6-7 weeks. Then I tried to buy a countertop from them and the response to emails and phone calls, not quick to begin with, slowed down significantly. I kept being passed from one representative to another as the person I worked with one week always seemed to be on vacation the following week. I ended up going through Home Depot for a countertop – and got a similar quality at a fraction of CKD’s quoted price and with far superior customer service. Then when the vanity was due to arrive, it turned out that the CKD staff had entered the wrong sizes for some of the cabinets and hadn’t found out until they arrived in town. They were slow to admit the error. I had to wait an additional month for the corrected cabinets and when they arrived they were slightly darker than the original batch. They had to be installed under the countertop in order for me to have completion before Thanksgiving. CKD never contacted me throughout the whole fiasco, apparently preferring to deal with my contractor rather than discussing with me. They certainly never apologized or offered me any recompense, and protested vigorously when I suggested a discount was due. I strongly recommend finding another supplier. It seems if the service starts out slow where you’re working, it isn’t likely to improve.

Jill and company helped me design and build my dream kitchen. It's been four years and my kitchen still looks brand new. I get compliments on it all the time. When it's time for a refresh, she's the one I'll go to. She's also helped me with bathroom cabinets that are unique and beautiful. Jill made the process so fun and effortless.
