Copperstone Kitchens and Renovations

We are on our third renovation project with Copperstone Kitchens. In 2019 they renovated our master bathroom. In 2023 they renovated our kitchen, plus dining and family room where they moved walls, raised a sunken floor, installed site finished hardwood and updated our fireplace. Our third project will be to continue the beautiful white oak hardwood in our master bedroom and create custom closets. Their process is solid and no detail is overlooked in the planning. The design team is knowledgeable and they communicate well throughout the project. Their standards are high, and the quality of their work is excellent. We enjoyed working with all of the Copperstone staff and carefully chosen sub contractors. As with any renovation, unforeseen issues arise, and we know they will find a way to make it right. I would love to recommend Copperstone Kitchens & Renovations for any project you may have for your home. They completely redesigned and renovated my entire kitchen. Working with their designer, Lindsey, was amazing. She managed to create the perfect space for me, according to my needs. This renovation took place in an older condominium building which can present with some additional problems, (elevator bookings, condo rules, electrical and plumbing etc) but that didn't seem to slow things down. The team were also wonderful to work with - very professional, always on time, and open with their daily communications in person, via email and on the BuilderTrend app. The final project was completed at the end of February 2020 just before the COVID-19 lockdown thanks to their amazing project management skills. Copperstone recently completed a large renovation of most of our house. This included the main floor (including kitchen, living, and dining room), basement, and master bath. The renovation also included updates to the main bathroom. Lindsey (designer) and Norm (general contractor), and Jeff (PM) were excellent. They provided a number of options and solutions to ensure that the finished space met and exceeded our expectations. This was a large job that initially was only going to be our kitchen, but grew over the course of our discussions with Lindsey and Norm. We greatly appreciated the knowledge and professionalism that the Copperstone team brought to the renovation, from the excellent design advice, to the regular updates and photos on Buildertrend, and the responsiveness when issues came up. All the workers who came to our home were courteous, pleasant, and hard working. We would recommend Copperstone to anyone looking to complete a small or large renovation.

Stop researching other reno companies and go with Copperstone! We chose them based off of online reviews alone, which felt a bit risky at the time since we didn't know anyone personally who had used the company. We can say with certainty that choosing Copperstone for our kitchen reno was a great decision. The design process was seamless with Helen, who had great ideas and helped us make decisions in a way that wasn't pushy. She was truly helpful for coming up with a "look" for the space, picking out finishes and creating a kitchen that met our needs. Norm was also very knowledgeable in sorting out some less visible, but very critical, road blocks before the project got underway, making sure we were aware about small issues that could crop up once demolition started (luckily, none of those things happened but we appreciated the early heads up and were walked through what it could mean for timeline and budget). Roy was exceptional in managing the project overall day-to-day and always kept us in the loop about what would be happening on site, and always reached out with updates. Every person who worked on the kitchen was kind, professional and paid attention to the details. The team is top notch. Even with a slight delay to the starting time for the project, they had the job wrapped up right on time, which meant a huge deal to us. They worked hard to make that happen. Thank you to the Copperstone team for giving us a kitchen we love, that's already proving to be the centre of our home. We love it!

We spent years planning our kitchen renovation and so it was imperative that we picked the right company to make our dream kitchen a reality. We read wonderful reviews on Houzz.com about Copperstone so we called them and within a few days Lindsey, their designer and Norm, their reno specialist came over to our home and spent several hours discussing ideas and taking measurements of our kitchen and living area. They listened to our ideas, saw our kitchen “model” we had created and came up with the perfect kitchen for us, incorporating our ideas and their suggestions. We visited Lindsey several times at the Copperstone location - she was such a delight to work with – always calm and reassuring and guiding us through the maze of choosing items for the kitchen – from the backsplash to the flooring to the kitchen cabinets. She has an amazing talent for picking just the right combination and our beautiful new kitchen reflects that. Jeff G. , our project manager was constantly in touch with us and was always available to answer questions. He gave us a timeline of all the work to be done and we followed it on the software program provided to us – a very handy tool to have. We really appreciated his efforts to keep us informed and the timeline for the work was kept on track, other than a slight delay which was the City’s fault regarding the scheduling of the electrical inspection. We were really impressed with the workmanship and quality of the work by all the Copperstone employees and subcontractors. We especially want to give a big thank you to Jeff E., who is such a dedicated carpenter and very knowledgeable about his work. We learned alot from his expertise in carpentry. When the kitchen was completed, and on budget, we were totally thrilled and overwhelmed with the new look! It was what we envisioned and more, and we’re still in awe of it two months later. We are so happy we picked Copperstone and would highly recommend them for anyone wishing to have renovations done.

Choosing Copperstone was the best decision my husband and I made when the time finally came to remodel our kitchen and main floor. Everything that flowed from that decision was outstanding -- from the guidance we received on design and selections, to the final result. Copperstone is a company of professionals who listen to and care about their clients'. When an unexpected glitch (not at all the result of their work) occurred early on, during the demolition, our project manager promptly found a solution. Despite being newbies to the renovation experience, we were never worried or anxious about the project. Yes, the inconvenience of not having a working kitchen for a few weeks got to us from time to time, but we were solidly confident in Copperstone and excited about what they were building for us. Skip to the end: Our kitchen and all the changes are beautiful. Almost six months after completion and we still catch ourselves admiring and loving our new space.

We hired Copperstone for a fairly big project; the complete remodel of our kitchen and powder room. From the initial discussion on potential designs to the final stages, we always received the best from Copperstone. The design phase was done with full transparency concerning costs, and our designer was an invaluable help in navigating us through the process. The work itself went as smoothly as possible under the circumstances of not having a working kitchen. The workers were professional and accommodating, and always available to answer our questions. From the start this was a great experience. Designing was the most fun. Lyndsay was always very accommodating and made herself available around our busy schedule. She listened to our input and provided great pictorials of what our plans would look like. She made some great recommendations. When the design was set the fun began. How well did Copperstone accomplish their mission of "Improving people's lives by improving their homes" for us? * Our old L-shaped kitchen came with the house from early 80s so we adjusted our lives to the kitchen. * Now our newly renovated kitchen, designed as a single row of appliances and sink and a parallel island, adjusts to our lives, our needs and tastes because we and Copperstone designed it that way. * Cooking is now more fun and enjoyable because the kitchen layout and spacing is conducive to completing efficiently every step of the cooking process. The stove, sink, pots and pans and cooking utensils are all within arm's reach. * It feels nice and happy to be in the kitchen because it is bright, refreshing and inviting, especially with the wine rack on the island. * Their team provided creative and out-of-the-box designs, including the layout of the laundry washer and dryer. The designer was very helpful in selecting the hardware components of renovation. * The project manager communicated to us regularly the progress of project milestones using their BuilderTrend App, and responded promptly to our questions and concerns. The project was completed as scheduled. * The team members are very skilled and personable. * Copperstone built our dream kitchen and we highly recommend them for your renovations project!

Copperstone provides full-service design and renovation. We hired Copperstone to renovate both our Kitchen and Master Bathroom. They listened to our needs, presented design choices that really work for us on a daily basis, and the workmanship and attention to detail are very strong. My experience with Copperstvone can be best described as awesome. Right from the get go with their visit to my home, I noticed the high level of professional and kind manner expressed by the Copperstvone team (Lindsey and Norm). The designer Lindsey came up with an amazing design for a much needed transformation of space to open up the kitchen to the dining/living areas. Her knowledge and patience throughout the planning process were critical in producing the kitchen I've always wanted. The renovation team (Jeff E, Roy, Matt and Ron) did excellent work indeed. They were professional by being on time, polite and always happy to explain to me what they did or were about to do. Thus, I felt very comfortable with their presence in my home. We were extremely pleased with the outcome of our Family Room reno. Each stage of the project was well done from initial design to completion and there were no unpleasant surprises. Everyone was wonderful from the first! A friend had used Copperstone for a kitchen renovation as was extremely happy with their work, so we spoke with Lindsey at the Ottawa Reno Show and proceeded from there. She listened to what we wanted (and to our budget) and provided excellent suggestions which lead to our now wonderful kitchen! Everyone from Norm, Stacey and Jeff, to the plumber, electrician and painters were professional and amazing to work with. The timeline they presented before work started was spot on and the work was completed on time!!! At the end of each day the kitchen was left tidy do that we could access the back yard through the work area, which was much appreciated! We have already recommended Copperstone to friends and would definitely consider working again with them in the future!

Having spent the past several years scouring magazines and websites for kitchen ideas and ready to embark on this rather daunting renovation, we began the search for a company to help us design and renovate our kitchen. Copperstone’s name came up in conversation with a friend. After looking at their website, which was very informative with respect to what one could expect throughout the renovation process, we dropped into the showroom, where we met Shannon. Although we were just starting to “look”, within 15 minutes we had a sense of what the kitchen could be, within the price range we had to work with, as well as a feeling that Shannon and this company would be a good fit for us. And without a doubt, it was. I had worried that what I had envisioned might not be possible, however Shannon’s creativity and knowledge of kitchen design, provided us with a plan that was beyond my expectations, including the upcycling and incorporating of our old kitchen table into the island! With Norm’s calm oversight, Jeff G’s coordination of ordering and scheduling, Ron’s, Jeff E’s, Matt’s and Roy’s exceptional skills and efficiency, the job was completed on time and on budget. The contracted tradespeople were also very competent and professional. Throughout the experience, it was apparent that the Copperstone team are not only skilled and experienced but bring to your home a passion for their work, an ability to listen and respond to your needs, a respect for your space (and one another) and a true wish to ensure that you, the customer is happy, no matter what the “challenge”. You are in good hands with Copperstone. Shannon Callaghan is a remarkable, knowledgeable designer who was able to translate our vague statements of what we did and did not want in a new bathroom into a gorgeous oasis that more than meets our needs. We have double the storage in what feels like twice the space. The shower and squarish-bottomed tub combination gives us the feel of a proper shower that is not just a shower head in a bathtub. The installation team, led by Norm Schilder and Jeff Gibson, designed an installation plan that gave us our shower back quickly, and completed the whole job very fast - not only with an absolute minimum of disruption or mess, but also with innovative solutions to the challenges posed by the house itself. Every member of their team was a pleasure to have in the house. I appreciated being kept informed of when work was going to be done, and found the collaborative software the team uses to be easy to adapt to and a great way to communicate.

Lindsey, Norm, Jeff, Ron, Matt and all the contractors at Copperstone Kitchen were wonderful to work with. Very professional and skilled. My husband and I received the kitchen of our dreams. From start to finish the whole team was great. A few hiccups but nothing that couldn't be agreed upon and fixed. Would highly recommend their services.

Recently had my kitchen completely renovated. Copperstone Renovations (Ottawa) and Potvin Kitchens (Rockland) were engaged to turn my dreams into reality. After many weeks of various trades people in and out... I must say... I would do it all over again using the same crews and companies. Copperstone were absolutely fantastic. From providing the initial amazing design to performing the decommissioning of the former kitchen cabinetry and countertops, providing all of the electrical wiring, light installation, plumbing, windows, duck work venting to final prep, paint, grouting and cocking... OMG... I've been truly blessed. Just like on the PGA Tour..."These guys are good"!!. If a reference is ever required...I'll certainly be the cheer leader for sure. NEVER any issues...everyone showed up as expected...never ANY waiting, and every day the new kitchen came together. Copperstone knows kitchens and they possess the absolute best trades in the industry (Ottawa). Highly recommend their services. Great price points were also appreciated as well. If I had to do it all over again, the only change I would make would be to have called them years ago so I could have been experiencing my 'dream come true' for several years now.

Copperstone Kitchens recently renovated our kitchen and much of our main floor, and we couldn't be happier with the results. The custom design reconfigured our space and made it much more efficient and attractive. Moving the fridge to a different wall was the catalyst and made the other design changes possible. Our designer, Helen, guided us through the entire process and helped with all the decisions that had to be made. The entire renovation was done by a team of skilled tradespeople who really took pride in their work. Each part of the job was done on schedule, and the project was finished in the predicted time. We appreciated the team's respect and consideration throughout the job as it allowed us to live in the house while the work was being done, and the process was both interesting and painless. We would certainly recommend Copperstone to anyone who is planning to renovate.

Our kitchen renovation was our largest investment in our home so far. We needed to have our floor replaced in the kitchen. Since we had to do that, we decided to do new cabinets, new countertop, and new backsplash at the same time. We have a galley style townhouse kitchen, so we also wanted to extend one counter further and make a breakfast bar / peninsula. The only things we did not change were appliances and wiring (we did change the overhead lighting and added under cabinent lighting ourselves). We chose Copperstone Kitchens for the job and are so glad that we did. If you watch HGTV you see all the problems that come up during home renovations. It can be stressful for sure, however with Copperstone, it was almost stress free! First of all – the people who work there are awesome. From our designer, Helen, to Lindsey and the guys who worked in the house, everyone we met with and worked with were so friendly, so helpful and so pleasant! This is really important to us since these people are going to be in our house for a significant amount of time. Secondly, the price they quoted us, was the price we paid! No hidden costs that came up after the work started. Finally, the work was done on time. The work started Nov 5 and we had our kitchen back on Nov 28. Overall, the whole process was so organized and the communication was fantastic - we especially liked their online project tool for communication. We’ve already recommended Copperstone Kitchens to others thinking of getting their kitchens renovated. Its hard to believe a renovation can be enjoyable but this actually was!

Copperstone Kitchens became our choice, among many, to renovate our 70's kitchen. Collectively, in our past homes we have had 3 kitchens renovated. This experience was ON-TIME,,ON-BUDGET & ORGANIZED... Copperstone, is a full service established team, with designers, project manager, carpenters, electricians and plumber , professionally co-ordinated with respect for our privacy,, as the project involve 6-7 weeks of arriving 8 am to 5pm, daily. Now don't get me wrong,,,unpacking a kitchen, setting up a temporary one, eating sandwiches & pizza a lot,,,cleaning up after extensive drywalling, having 2 dogs to adapt to trades people coming & going, We did enjoy the process,, really.
