I have used Rick and his crews for over 15 years on various projects. His first was a screened in porch with several roof lines, to complete fire restorations. He was the second person I called after talking to my family the night of a fire. He and Joe were there that day, and took over from there. Dealing with my insurance company, to making sure we got moved by in to the completely renovated home. My friends and family all have used him. First Class. He has done too many jobs to list.

When I decided to add an addition to my existing home, I had no idea of where to start. The Stan Better Companies was one of several companies recommended to me and ultimately the one I hired to do the work. Started out with a meeting to discuss what I was looking for, primarily a sewing or quilting room with lots of space & light plus a walk-in fabric storage closet and creating a laundry room on the first floor. They also presented some additional ideas that could be implemented at a later time. Some of these suggestions addressed several handicap features I could use now or would need in the future so the I would be able to remain in my home, hopefully forever. I was so impressed and pleased with their suggestions that I hired them to do everything at one time. I would be having them add a 1000 sq ft addition to my existing 900 sq ft house. This would include a large sewing room with 2 skylights, a walk-in fabric storage room, a handicap accessible master bath, a new master bedroom with double closets, a laundry room, a new front porch and a new back porch with a modified ramp and handrails . A large tree had to be cut down, permits had to be obtained, and lots of decisions regarding plumbing, electrical changes, flooring choices, paint colors and many other things had to be made. Rick Boyle and Joe Rosato guided me thru each process along the way. They got all the subcontrators coordinated and work began the last week in Oct 2014 and completed in May 2015. I watched each process of the project coming together, asking a lot of questions and everyone was so helpful to me. It was like watching a fine symphony or ballet, as when one group completed their part, the next one was there to do theirs. Everyone was so conscientious about their work and the quality seemed above & beyond what I expected. All work was done without disrupting me from living in the house during the whole process. Work areas were cleaned up daily and upon completion of the project, yard was restored to condition it was originally. Would I recommend Stan Better Companies, definitely without any hesitations whatsoever. In fact I am already thinking of a couple of more projects for them.

Stan Better Construction just completed the renovation of the Master Bath in our condo. To say that we are pleased beyond our highest expectations would be an understatement. From the start, it was easy to see that everyone on the team was a true professional. The workmanship was second to none, communication throughout the job was solid, and customer service was the best we have ever experienced. They took a small, ill-designed bathroom and transformed it into a spa-like retreat with all the storage we wanted and the amenities we had hoped to include. We would recommend Stan Better Companies over and over again---and we will be using their services again in the future!

I worked with Stan Better and his construction crew for a complete kitchen remodel. A wall was removed b/w kitchen and dining room. I had a very positive experience with Stan Better Companies. Mr. Better provided the services of an architect, who designed the kitchen. It's beneficial that he also owns a construction company.After the design was finalized, a seamless process started, meeting with his construction company's general contractor, materials choices, etc. The general contractor (project manager)coordinated the process. The experience was only positive throughout. Of course I had to go beyond my budget, but this was due to issues relating the age of my house and my design requirements. The construction crew was friendly and even let my dog out for me when I was at work. The finished product was more than I expected and looks great. The design beautifully joins both rooms and matches new materials to the 80 yr old cabinets in the dining room. Surprise design touches that really matter included matching the existing home's archways perfectly. The new doorways look just like the exisitng ones.

I have used Stan Better for the last 2 years, working on several projects at our home that is being totally renovated, as the last project always surpasses our expectations taht we hire them for a new one. We still have projects to do and they will obviously be invited back to out home once more, a special thanks to Rick Boyle without him as project Manager none of this would have happened.

We did an addition to the second story of our house, with the remodeling of adjacent areas. This resulted in a master bedroom suite, an expanded bathroom, two large walk-in closets, and a second floor laundry. We were very pleased with the quality of their work, and their attentiveness. The work was completed on schedule. They were easy to work with. The work progressed on schedule. There were no surprises or delays. I'd recommend Stan Better Companies to anyone.

Over the 36+ years I have owned my house, Stan Better Companies have done the following projects: 1)Re design of the Kitchen, 2)Re-build of the chimeny and brick veneer of the family room including design and build of floor-ceiling bookshelves next to the fire place 3) Construction and design of a deck off the family room 4) Re-design of the master bath, main batrooms upstairs, and half bath downstairs. 5) Numerous projects outside the house including re-build of the fencing enclosing my backyard,painting and caulk-sealing windows,garage floor repair, door replacements,etc. In each case the work was done in a very professional, courteous manner. including all cleanup, & followup after the work was done. An example of Stan's professionalism was shown in the first project he did for me. My chimney was separating from the house. Stan could have just accepted the work and torn down the chimney without finding out why the chimney had moved. Instead he insisted that we do soil samples and look for the underlying conditions that would cause the movement. We hired a soils engineer who took samples and showed us why the movement occurred. Then Stan went ahead and removed the old chimney and brick veneer and dug out the old footer (which the original builder had done in a very improper manner). Stan replaced the footer with a proper foundation and built a beautifully architected and fuctional chimney. At the same time he resolved an issue we had with the patio door threshhold that was related to the chimney pulling away the brick veneer from the house. Thatsold me on Stan's credibility and work. We have used his company for every major project since.

Stan Better Construction has done several remodeling projects for us. We find that his work, and his workers are professional. The jobs were done in the amount of time that was estimated; the work was done well; his staff cleaned up at the end of each work day and they were trust-worthy; so much so that we were able to go out of town and give them complete access to the house in our absence. I highly recommend Stan Better Construction.

Stan Better and Company has done several jobs for us: * Complete high-end kitchen remodel (strip out everything, add granite countertops, subzero etc.) * Major bathroom re-model * New roof, windows, doors All were done with exceptional professionalism in appearance, cleanliness of job site, and politeness. Also a high caliber of professional expertise (architecture and building-wise). Couldn't recommend them more highly!

After admiring the remodeling of the home of a collegue and friend, I learned that Stan Better was both the architect and contractor. In 1998 I needed an addition made to my home, I went to Stan and was very pleased by both his business practices and his creativity. His work was on schedule and on budget. His craftsmen were effective, efficient, and honest. Work areas were cleaned daily and the existing portion of the home was protected. Minor issues that arose, as with any construction project, were handled promptly and to my complete satisfaction. We recently decided to expand and modernize the kitchen and adjacent bathroom and laundry room of the home. I again called upon Stan and was totally satisfied with the design, the workmanship, the adherance to budget and schedule. I would recomend Stan Better without any reservation whatsoever.
