After having enjoyed nearly a lifetime working in the “industry” Owner, Kristen Ball, opened her design consulting firm in 2003. Over the course of twenty years, what began as a design consulting business, naturally blossomed into something much more rewarding for both the business world and homeowners alike. Uniquely characterized by design-inspired remodeling, Creative Spaces by KB combines the best of two worlds: interior design and full home remodeling. We are proud to present our clients with the rare advantage of complete interior design services when considering their future remodeling contractor. We have used Kris for both a kitchen & bathroom remodel in the past couple of years & she does an amazing job. She listens carefully to what you want but is very willing to offer her creative ideas. She provides you with a timeline for the project & has a great crew of "workers" who carry it out. Both of our projects have a "wow factor" & we are very pleased with the end results. She stands behind her work & make sure it meets your expectations. She is full of energy & a pleasure to work with.

Kristen stole money from me. She took my down payment and never completed the project. Cannot understand the integrity of someone who claims to be a professional and then uses the money for her own personal use.

What an amazing experience! (And I know because I did a remodel on my own in the past.) Kris has excellent taste and went beyond my expectations. I didn't have to worry about a thing. The kitchen design she created was perfect. She knows all the newest products and helped me pick out every item for my new beautiful kitchen. A schedule was created for me and for the various contractors that she works with. If there was a question or a concern, Kris handled it. I relied on Creative Design for every aspect of this project and I'm so grateful for Kris and her organization, attention to details and high expectations for a quality installation. Can't wait to have her do my bathroom remodel!

Excellent remodel contractor, affordable and easy to work with, would recommend to anyone! Kris has great ideas and suggestions, gave her my thoughts and she worked magic on the project. Kris did not mind explaining and adding in my suggestions or requests. Professional and helpful with everything from flooring to cabinets to appliances...I was not worried or concerned at any point in the remodel as I could see she had this well in hand. Kristen is awesome! We have worked with her since 2012 when she remodeled our first house. Since then, she has handled the interior design and remodeling/ construction for three other houses that we have occupied. We highly value her creativity, talent, experience, knowledge and ability to execute. Her skill set is rare. She is able to turn our vision into reality with the finished product worthy of HGTV or a Lifestyle Magazine. She has an incredible knack for putting the entire package together. From handling the many construction related details and organizing all of the trades to choosing the flooring, lighting and plumbing fixtures, paint, wall/ window coverings, and furniture/ accessories, she does it all! The end result has always exceeded our expectations, and reflected our personal taste and lifestyle. We also appreciate that Kristen is very conscious about cost, quality and time. We highly recommend her!

We used Creative Spaces to remodel a master bath, a guest bath tub/shower enclosure, and flooring to include the stairs, upper hall and kitchen. Kris was easy to reach, and easy to work with. We had good luck communicating by text when we were out of town. If we had an issue during installation, she was at our house within a couple of hours and ensured we were happy with the outcome. All her finish choices were great quality and we didn’t feel the need to go above our budget to get the quality we wanted. Our project was done in a timely manner. From the time of first demolition to the finishing touches we were within a week of the time estimate. As we use these areas, we are extremely happy with the spaces Kris helped us make our own.

I have been in my house about 47 years and other than adding a family room with a fire place in the '70s nothing much else was done to the house. When it came time to finally update I had absolutely no "vision" of what to do other than paint and flooring. When I met Kristen Ball it was a WOW moment! With her guidance and expertise my house was transformed into a beautiful home! Some of the work done included: * Removed wall between living room and kitchen * Removed sliding door between kitchen and family room * Wood look vinyl flooring throughout house * Paint inside and out * Kitchen completely remodeled * New doors * Fans in each room * Can lighting added Kris was considerate of the amount of money I could spend and our timeline. She and her crew of workers are amazing, kind, courteous and knowledgeable. Kris was allways available to answer questions (phone calls and texts) and came by the house almost daily while work was being done. I would highly recommend Kristen Ball at Creative Spaces by KB!

Kristen is incredibly talented. She has a very keen eye, is budget conscious and very skilled. Kristen transformed my house into a model home. From paint, flooring, window and wall coverings, fixtures, furniture and accessories, everything flowed and complimented each other perfectly. She even designed a stone wall with bench seat and home theater system that generated compliments from everyone. She's also very resourceful, knowing where to shop to find unique items that are easy on the wallet. I highly recommend Kristen. She's wonderful to work and helped me transform my home in a way that would not have been possible without professional help. I couldn't be more pleased.

Creative genius would be a bit much but a justly description of KB would be creative, genuine and detail oriented. Designers with an eye rather than simply a computer program is what most of us desire when selecting a quality company or individual that will listen to the clients ideas and incorporate those with design elements to create a unique professional setting.
