CSI Kitchen and Bath Studio was EXCELLENT!! The entire renovation experience was smooth and very well done! Steen is so professional and his crew is amazing! We did a live in Reno which isn’t the easiest, but the crew made the experience easier. Ricky, Ron, Louis and Zach are so kind and are the hardest workers I’ve ever seen. I enjoyed seeing and talking with them each day. Alessia drew out incredible plans for our Reno and helped me design our home beautifully. She was patient and wonderful to work with throughout the process. The Sub-Contractors that CSI work with are wonderful as well. They show up on time, are so sweet and work so hard. The office staff at CSI are the best too. Ms. Angie sent me an email each day explaining what was done that day and what to expect the next day. Very well run business!! I would recommend CSI to anyone and everyone. Highly Highly recommend!!!!

For so long I delayed having my kitchen renovated because I was certain it would be painfully inconvenient and disruptive. I knew from experience what it feels like to go through a renovation project. But I had never gone through a renovation with CSI. Steen Clausen has excellent vision, and he is very intuitive. He knew what I wanted better than I did, and that was a first for me! I changed absolutely none of the components that were presented to me. The cabinets, the countertops, the tile—everything was perfect. My kitchen layout was very challenging, and Steen was able to completely transform the space from a dark, uninviting, congested area to a light, open, modern, gorgeous designer kitchen. I couldn’t be more pleased. The team that worked on my project were fabulous. Expert project management and excellent craftsmanship. I would love to work with all of them again. Everyone takes great pride in their work, and that shines through to the client and in the finished project. They made the entire renovation a seamless and painless experience. The level of professionalism of Steen and his team is truly beyond compare. From the very beginning there is complete transparency. The client is presented with a binder containing a list of the principals and associates and their contact information; photos of the team assigned to the project; project contracts; detailed project plans/drawings; specs of appliances, equipment, and hardware; warranties; and use and care of all materials. Details of scheduling and payment due dates ensure you are informed every step of the way. An updated spreadsheet is sent following each payment. Daily emails are sent outlining what was accomplished on that day and what to expect the following day. CSI made my renovation a fun and pleasurable experience. They gave me a kitchen that makes me smile when I walk into it. I’ll never do another renovation without CSI.

Great experience from the very first day we entered the CSI show room. Archana, who helped us with our kitchen design and material selections was extremely helpful. The communication throughout the process was very efficient and thorough. The construction team could not have been more professional. CSI designed and constructed a BEAUTIFUL new kitchen for us. The job involved moving some walls, taking the walls that weren't moving down to the studs, replacing the ceiling, LOTS of recessed lighting, crown molding with led lighting, under counter led lighting, fantastic Schrock cabinets with LOTS of features (spice cabinet, toe kick drawers, pull outs, soft close)...it is a totally new kitchen. Archana, our designer, is creative. She listened to everything we said, and then would present options and her own thoughts. We had a difficult area to work with...the old pantry which was under the staircase to the second floor. I didn't want a pantry, so she figured out a way to make use of the space for additional cabinets and counterspace. And the construction left me with what I call "my secret pantry" - a space behind the cabinets that backs up to the staircase is an odd shape and was left unused. CSI left an opening to that space for me, and it's terrific for some really odd-shaped and/or large items that don't fit anywhere else! All new appliances! CSI worked with us even though we did not purchase the appliances from them. We found a terrific deal on a brand they did not carry. CSI did all the installation and we never felt they held it against us that we didn't buy the appliances from them. CSI was also accommodating to the fact that our budget required we leave our floors as the slab right now. We will go back to CSI when we are ready to install heated ceramic tile throughout the first floor of our home (a $20,000 job the way we want it done). CSI set up all the wiring we need for that job, so everything is ready to go when we find the money. Everyone involved - electricians, carpenters, painters, plumbers - was respectful of our home. They were friendly and answered the many questions we were asking about how things were being done and why. We LOVE our new kitchen. My husband and I have stood in the middle of it and said that we never could have imagined how beautiful it would turn out. We will go back to CSI for other projects in the future.

My husband contacted this company because they carried the cabinets in a home we were renovating. Linda Esserman was assigned to us and she went above and beyond our expectations. We were trying to mix old cabinets with new, painting the old ones. She worked diligently to accomplish this and had a painter come to give an estimate. In the end, we decided that all new would look much better and she provided side by side estimates and guided us through the process. Although we have not been able to complete installation due to construction delays, I expect the job to be professional and trust Linda to see that it happens.

We have worked with CSI for many years. Longevity is usually a good indication of the integrity of a company, and they uphold that standard. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence is what sets them apart. We look forward to many more years of partnership.

Our first experience with CSI was a Kitchen Renovation. After hearing my sad story of various other companies design failures, Steen had a design plan for us within a week. He hit the nail on the head with his design and even incorporated a little bit of our culture into our Stone Kitchen Hood. He absolutely made our idea into more than we even had hoped it would be. As others have said, every attention to detail was given for all aspects of the work done. His staff was also a pleasure to have in our home and my girls were sad to see them leave. They were very respectful and made sure to keep the areas being worked on clean and free of any possible damage to existing floors, walls, etc. They are truly the best and we highly recommend them for custom projects. Since the 2010 kitchen renovation, we have used them to renovate the entire upstairs and basement. They have also done my parents condo bathroom and kitchen too. Read Less
