Michael did a fantastic job on our new kitchen/wet bar project and we couldn't be happier with the results. The project was done in a timely manner and the best part is that someone was on site almost every day!

When my wife and I moved to Providence a couple years ago, we were thrilled with our new home. The previous owners had made some wonderful improvements, most through the talented hands of Michael Blaise of DCI. The only thing wanting was a back door to our lovely patio area. So, without hesitation, we contacted Michael in hopes he could make that happen. Not only was he able to do the job to perfection, but his talented mason created a landing area perfectly suited to the existing environment. Michael is direct, responsive, and very talented at his trade. He provided a helpful history to our home’s previous transformation, and created a doorway and landing that seem like they always belonged here. Although our project was on the smaller side of his repertoire, Michael made us feel it was the most important to him. It sure was for us! Michael Blais, Design Contractors Inc, just finished yet another incredible job for us. DCI does some absolutely magnificent work. I have used Michael for several projects, including kitchen design and renovation as well as custom finish work throughout our house. For kitchen design, Michael not only created a gorgeous island, but he also suggested a crucial change (that was completely missed by the developer) to the layout of the kitchen that resulted in expanding the kitchen's square footage and adding storage space. His finish work -- notably the built-ins he has completed -- are stunning. Professional, easy to work with, responsive and truly talented, I would not use anyone other than Michael. In fact, the home sold faster than any other similar home on the market at full asking price with several offers. I firmly believe Michael's work played a key role in this outcome.

Michael Blais renovated our 1915 Arts and Crafts style house into a 21st century family home. His design expertise created an addition that transformed our outdated kitchen into a bright open family area. With his skilled artistry he created cabinets, fine custom furniture and moldings with attention to architectural details. He terraced the out door area to create an English garden. He reconfigured an unnecessarily large master bedroom into one with walk-in closets, a vanity sink area and large bathroom. He capably maintained the exterior and internal systems for over 30 years. His interest in our beautiful home was equal to ours and his craftsmanship made our visions for it a reality.
