Decorem did such a good job on our bath remodel, we would never use another contractor. The owner, Al and his crew are professionals who were respectful of our home and our time during the project. This was important because we were both working at home at the time. Our day was rarely interrupted by the work. When little issues cropped up (like a defective faucet), Al made sure it was fixed. Both he and Brian made sure things got done the right way. We have other projects planned and will definitely call be calling Decorem.

I can’t say enough about the quality and attention to detail. We had a lot of issues that needed to be fixed properly from previous repairs before we could even begin to remodel. Al repaired all the underlying issues so they will finally be fixed for good and then left me with a stunning bathroom. Definitely not the cheapest remodel in town, but the quality was worth it. In addition he really has a good eye for aesthetics and was able to guide me through overwhelming design and color choices. It was also important to me to have someone I felt comfortable with in my home. Al is very dog friendly and that added to the experience!

Al did a fantastic job on our complete bathroom renovation. At the end of the day, he left things as neat and orderly as possible in order to keep the inconvenience to us at a minimal. We want to express how grateful we are to have worked with Al Pante of Decorem Home Improvement. Al was able to see my vision & understand the style and look I was hoping to achieve and then build upon that. More importantly, with attention to detail that these days is rarely found in this trade. Al demo and reconstructed our kitchen, keeping us apprised as he went along. Al had wonderful ideas to incorporate into our kitchen and the final results were amazing! We’re two days post completion and we love looking at our new beautiful kitchen! Thanks so much Al! One last note. Our project started during the Covid pandemic. Not one day did we feel uncomfortable. Al always masked up entering our home and even went as far as enclosing the work area that they were working on.

We challenged Al with an indoor pool project. We were impressed by the amount of research he did to make sure moisture was under control and finding the best dehumidifier and materials for the job. We had ideas, but Al brought more ideas that really were an asset for the project. Craftsmanship and attitude were wonderful. Al looked at our project with an eye for our needs down the road, not just at the moment. We really appreciate that as that is how we designed our home. Unavoidable delays caused by shortages were dealt with as they came along. They were not Al's fault and he stayed on top of things to be sure work could continue. We have other projects that we will call Al for, because he cares about his work and wants his clients to be completely happy.

Started project just before pandemic which caused obvious delays in shipping, etc that were unavoidable. Al kept us updated through out the process. He also gave us the option to hold off on our project in the beginning if we were not comfortable with him working in our home during this unknown time. Al is a perfectionist and it shows in his work. The tile work in our shower is perfection. There was very little to no intrusion in our daily lives during the project. In the end we have a gorgeous bathroom and will be calling him again when the time comes to finish our basement rough in.

Do not recommend Decorem. Al made many promises he was ultimately unable to deliver. He does not stand behind his workmanship or the products he provides you for your "shop at home experience", so when disaster strikes his claims to pride in customer satisfaction is replaced with "it was fine when I left". Our first notifications to Decorem started within 2 weeks of completion and it took 3 months for a response. It has been nearly a year and our master bathroom remodel continues to have major problems. Not only did we NOT get what was discussed, agreed to and contracted for, we have to wasted additional time and money with a new contractor and legal proceedings. Only reason for 1 star is because 0 isn't an option. Ended up pursuing Decorem in court and won the case.

Al renovated our master bath--new cabinets, sinks, mirrors, lights, commode--plus a beautiful stone tile walk in shower with glass door. His work is exceptional, and he attends to detail. Toward the end of the project, he did some upgrades to our hall bathroom. We provided the the new mirror, commode, and vanity, and he did the work at no additional charge. Al is really good to work with. He actually communicates what will happen and when. Excellent experience all around!

Al Pante is so good to work with, and he does exceptionally good work. He remodeled a bathroom for us in 2016. I have only praise for the final product. He communicates very well and involves you throughout the process. He does what he says he will do (when he says he will do it!) and is an exceptional craftsman. It was a pleasure working with him!

Several hiccups and delays along the way with our bathroom remodel which we were willing to deal with but now less than three years later we have a tub drain leak. Al refuses to stand behind the work and do the repair so I don’t believe that total satisfaction is the company motto.

Al Pante and his assistant came into my home to demolish a botch job from a previous contractor and gave me the kitchen that I envisioned originally. I got the cherry cabinets and finishings that updated my 24 year old kitchen to a modern day chef’s kitchen and I absolutely love it. It was worth waiting the 8 months to complete it.

Everything about the job and working with Al and Matt was perfect. They are good people and their work was high quality. Al had several very good ideas for the space that we would never have thought of and he is a perfectionist. We did spend a little more than we set out to, but the quality we got in return was worth it. I can't tell you how much nicer the bathroom is now compared to before. Well worth the time and money. We have already told Al we want him to redo our kitchen next year. We highly recommend Al for any remodeling needs you might have, you won't regret it.

I contracted with De'cor'em Home Improvement for a master bath redo. They were great to work with! They were very professional and each on the job they always took the time to ensure everything was prepped and cleaned up afterwards. We selected Mr. Al Pante, De’Cor’em Home Improvement, for a complete renovation of our kitchen, 2.5 baths and all flooring throughout the house. We interviewed several contractors before settling on Mr. Pante. We were impressed with Mr. Pante from the start, he personally picked us up in his own car and took us to different suppliers to look at options, and he provided this level of personal attention before we had even signed a contract. His vast knowledge across the spectrum of all pertinent areas (electrical, plumbing, drywall, granite, cabinetry, flooring, etc.) was very reassuring. We selected De’cor’em for our renovation needs and never looked back. We are so thrilled with the results that were achieved. I now have my dream kitchen! Mr. Pante and I had to make many decisions together over the 9-week renovation and he was very good at steering me to a different solution than I might have envisioned; always in an extremely professional and courteous manner. Decorem was contracted to build out a half bath to a full bathroom in our basement. Al, the owner/ project manager was a pleasure to work with. He was very response to our concerns and always offered us options. The project was performed on time and on budget. The results exceeded our expectations in both quality and total cost. Excellent service! Al Pante and his team were very professional. What I liked best about De'cor'em's service was that Al Pante came out to give the job estimate and he also came out and did the work, he didn't send someone else. When onsite the work was completed with very little disruption to our family and when there was interaction Al and his team were very courteous. Al offered us many different options when he was working each of our individual projects and his ideas and vast experience in the industry were evident and very helpful. Home De'cor'em finished our basement, upgraded our kitchen and refinished our main level bathroom. We will use this company again in the future as we plan to have the upstairs bathrooms upgraded.

My wife and I chose Al Pante and his Decorem Home Improvement firm to remodel our unfinished basement and we were so glad we did. I am retired and lived on a fixed income. I hired Decorem previously to do my kitchen and bath in my residence. OFF THE PAGE in terms of professionalism, cost and attitude to get the job done to my satisfaction. I rehired Decorem to do my daughters house which had two crampy baths, an obsolete kitchen and a broken attic door. WOW! Looks like a new home. You can now take a shower in comfort, cook a gourmet dinner and feel comfortable. I did this with the idea of someday my daughter will upgrade to a newer home and I needed to make the townhome sellable in the first day. What do new buyers look at first-the kitchen and then the baths. SOLD. Besides all that my daughter now can enjoy her home.. Al is a master craftsman. He has remodeled my three bathrooms and kitchen, finished the basement, tiled two entrances, installed two steel entry doors and two storm doors, in addition to myriad other handyman jobs. He does impeccable tile work, is an exacting and skilled carpenter and does plumbing and some electrical work. His forte is his design expertise and artistic eye. I relied on him for expert opinions and guidance on the thousands of decisions that come with a renovation of this magnitude. He patiently helped me with even the most picayune matters and always directed me to the best products at the best prices. His fees are reasonable for the quality of workmanship he provides. The venders he deals with are also top-notch. I am not one to brag, but my bathrooms and kitchen are gorgeous, and my basement is now a beautiful family room. He will also be putting in a deck soon. Al is ethical, reliable and just a really nice, bright, down-to-earth guy. My only complaint is that he is in such demand, his calendar can get pretty booked up. He is worth the wait.

Very professional contractor. Attention to detail is meticulous. Very trustworthy - We felt completely comfortable with him in our home at all times, even when we left for vacation.
