Very professional company utilized to completely remodel Kitchen, plus custom cabinets in laundry. A great company to work with. I highly recommend and will also plan for future bathroom remodel as well. Project included New 42" cabinets, Blanco sink, quartz counter tops, back splash, new designed Island for bar stools, plus LED lighting for both ceiling and under cabinets. Excellent, excellent work and open communication. Great to work with honest professionals that can also provide interior design, great selection of products, and a on-site Construction Manager that provided fantastic communication, scheduling on-time workers, plus regularly reviewed completed work. Also unique was time saving by the company having their own stone/granite/quartz cutting shop. Did not have to wait the typical 2-3 weeks after cabinets installed, but only a few days. Finally, this project was completed ahead of schedule! Our "THANK YOU" for all involved, a truly great experience, we can't be happier!!

We used Desert Valley Concepts to renovate our kitchen which involved the complete removal of the existing countertops, era 1970s cabinets, backsplashes and appliances. Jake and his people prepared design drawings, recommendations on tiling, new cabinets, sinks and countertop compositions - in our case the equivalent of Silestone. We got a demolition and installation schedule that was adhered to by them. As there are always a few minor issues in any construction project, we found Jake and his crew addressed and dealt with them timely and expeditiously. We were impressed with the organization and attention to details in the planning, acquisition of replacement materials and workmanship. We highly recommend Desert Valley. Over the years we have renovated 7 of our residences and dealt with many contractors. Desert Valley, in its chosen area, is the best and most trustworthy one we have met.

We purchased our Condo and lived out of state. After interviewing several contractors we felt Jake from Desert Valley Concepts was the one for us. In 2013 Jake converted our niche to a complete drywall entertainment center. We were part time residents at the time and Jake completed the work while we were not here. When we decided to renovate our kitchen, we contacted two companies to provide estimates for the job. Desert Valley Concepts was able to quote a better price than the other contractor and Jake had valuable input on the redesign. The people that came to the house to do the work were all professional, arrived on time, and cleaned up after they were done. We decided to do some of the work ourselves and Jake was very easy to coordinate with in figuring out how to share the work. We also ordered some of the lighting and plumbing fixtures ourselves and Jake was again very accommodating. We did pay a little more at the end of the job than was originally quoted, but the amount was only a few percent more for a job well done. We would work with Jake and Desert Valley Concepts again should we have another renovation project.

Jake at Desert Valley Concepts designed an amazing media wall for our outdated great room. He did several computer generated renderings that incorporated our ideas with his creative suggestions. In 2012, we purchased a large home that needed a lot of TLC repair work. When we inquired around about finding someone to do our electrical work, our audio/video designer recommended Jake Gonzalez. We immediately liked the idea of having these two service providers know each other as a lot of what was done on both projects required the coordination of their schedules. When it came to the electrical work specifically, we liked the fact that Jake not only knew how to install things correctly (we found out a lot of our fixtures were not properly wired to independent fuses) but also had a talent for design. An example of this is his suggesting we move most of the 16 can lights in the kitchen from their original placement to a position that better illuminated all the traffic patterns. He and his crew upgraded all of our outlets, can lights, and associated wiring. They also reconfigured our fuses boxes, adding new circuits to correct the short cuts that were originally installed when the house was built in 2004. In addition, they installed pendant lights in the kitchen, sconces in the hallways, ceiling fans in the bedrooms, fixtures in the master bath, LED rope lighting in a couple decorative ceiling domes, and a barbeque light in the patio. Before anything was done, Jake submitted timely written proposals so there were no "surprises" when it came to the final bill. Coincidentally, we also found out that Jake was doing some work for some friends which entailed a lot of wall design, etc. which are much beyond the scope of a standard electrician. We felt like the work he did for us, along with others we hired, saved us a subcontractor fee. We would highly recommend Jake to anyone who is looking for a good electrician that is also capable of updating and design.

We worked with Jake to design and remodel our entertainment center. He listened to our wants, he delivered sketches of ideas, we collaborated to develop the final design. He was punctual and took the utmost care to not cause a mess of our entire house while working by hanging ceiling to floor plastic and also laid paper down from the door to the work site. He finished on time and continuously shared new ideas as he worked to fine tune the final project. He even provided the electronic infrastructure in a nearby closet so we don't have to look at all of the electronic components! As a result we were very, very happy with the finished product. He was marvelous, and is a very talented craftsman.

The entire team here does an excellent job. Their designs are awesome and the finished product will look better than expected. They are reliable, keep the construction site clean and are nice to have around. They have redone a dry wall ceiling for us, built a new soffitt over a bar area and remodelled a fireplace inlcuding installing a new one and adding stone to the area.

We purchased an older home in Scottsdale which had virtually no overhead lighting. Jake, the owner of DVC came highly recommended so we met and got an estimate. It was not the lowest one but we felt comfortable with jake. Bottom line.... These guys did an awesome job. They showed up when they said they would, were meticulous in keeping the mess contained, offered great ideas as the project evolved and finished in reasonable time. We've had them back 2 or 3 times for other projects and expect to continue to do so. An example of Jakes commitment to his client: We had DVC install a large chandelier and two fans in our great room. This required drilling up through our flat roof. We discussed the possibility of a leak and Jake assured us it would be fine. Some time later we started to have a leak along a wall in that room. 2 roofers later and incorrect assessments we still had the leaks. ( roofers blamed holes drilled by DVC. ) I called Jake. He came right over and went to work analyzing the situation. Turns out the roofers were full of it. Easy to look and blame the well sealed holes. Jake and his crew found cracks along the parapet walls and even brought a hose up to make sure he was correct. He was! He then sealed all the cracks ( not his job by the way) and we have had no issues since. DVC takes FULL ownership of their work and they stand behind it. I could not recommend them more highly.

This was the second time we used this company. The first time they built an entertainment center in the family room, which included carpentry and drywall work. The workmanship was excellent and blended in very well with the existing decor. The second project included added decorative arches to our living room. Again carpentry and drywall were involved. The work turned out very well...in fact guests are surprised to find out the arches were not part of the original room. We felt the price was fair and the home was left clean and neat. Excellent job!

We first hired Jake to repair some drywall after installing new audio equipment. His work was outstanding. We subsequently hired him to correct a large drywall problem we inherited with our new house. Jake would be the only person I would call to help with drywall repairs. He was always prompt and pleasant. We are now in the process of upgrading our audio system so I am sure we will see Jake soon.
