You can be the judge. Hired them 6 years ago roughly to reroof my house. His sub crew was brought in to do the job (in retrospect guess I should have gone directly to a roofing company. I can only assume DK was basically just brokering the work). Nevertheless, I didn’t say know upon finding this out and my assumption may be inciorrect. Fast forward to now and the roof has developed a substantial leak. No major storms, shingles missing or out of place. Not sure why the leak developed but if I did the work, I’d have enough concern to make sure something wasn’t botched. Called Doug and inquired about getting the roof checked as well as getting an estimate to fix the drywall. I had zero dellusions that after six years the roof would be under any warranty but again assumed the person responsible for the work might have an interest in at least seeing the issue. I was told his backlog as well as his roofer’s backlog of work was months deep and I should call my insurance company and see if they recommend a roofing company. In my opinion that is terrible customer relations with someone that spent thousands with you. Maybe my expectations are too high but I feel that potential customers should be able to take this into consideration.

Arrived on the scheduled date on time and prepared for the job. Was very knowledgeable about the work that needed to be performed. Was extremely careful and respectful of the home by putting down runners to protect carpet and pads to protect countertops when necessary. They worked steadily and swiftly. The end results exceeded my expectations.

Last summer I had DK Construction put a roof on my house and cover up the exposed wood siding with aluminum trim. They were on time, under budget, and did top quality workmanship. The team was courteous, and when the job was finished they cleaned up ALL the debris left over from the project.

DK Construction was willing to come to Decatur, AL to cover all of the exterior wood on our home. They installed vinyl soffit and wrapped the fascia and window trim in metal. They also installed 2 storm doors while they were there. They kept their work site neat and did exactly what we wanted them to do.
