Our master bath shower floor had tiles popping up and showed cracking. We originally hoped to be able to repair/replace the poured pan, and got quotes from a few companies with that job in mind. From the start, DreamWorx was our top choice. Nathan, the owner, and Oleg, who's worked with Nathan for years and does amazing work, were super knowledgeable and direct with what they could do, pricing, and unknowns (like any damage lurking below). For various reasons it turned out we really had to redo the whole shower. It's now complete and we are SO pleased with the result and relieved to have a great-looking, well-built shower, and so grateful we chose a company that wants to please customers and stands behind its work with a warranty. LONG version: After our first meeting Nathan provided two itemized quotes, which is important to me but so many service providers don't do. This wasn't a project we anticipated or were excited to take on, and Nathan was patient with my initial difficulty accepting the scope/expense. Communication was excellent as we nailed down details. Nathan helped me understand material options and design choices. I agonized over some elements and which tile to choose, but Nathan and Oleg were patient and helpful in pointing out pros/cons and effects on cost and helped me through the selection process. Things got off smoothly with a glass company removing components for reinstallation later and Oleg overseeing demo. They were extremely careful about protecting surfaces in our home and took every measure to contain dust, which was remarkably effective. Demo didn't reveal damage or mold, so they proceeded to fix the framing of the bench, pour a new floor, and redo walls. My anxiety kicked up for tile placement and pattern flow, but Oleg was confident and mind-blowingly thoughtful. He beautifully matched patterns and continued tiles around corners. FYI our house is 96 years old and this bathroom was converted from an old porch addition some years ago. It has a A LOT of quirks like structurally sound but not-level surfaces. No matter: Oleg precisely measured, trimmed, and fit each piece to fit the space, improve the lines of the room, AND ensure the original glass would perfectly fit back in. Oleg's handiwork and honest opinions about design consistently impressed me and saved my sanity. And he was on time Every. Single. Day. Nathan was frequently on site to oversee and assist with work, discuss progress, and answer questions. He was incredibly prompt to reply to calls/texts/emails. Nathan and Oleg came to personally give the final product a once-over and do any tiny touch-ups. They encouraged us to contact them with the slightest concern and we are now on the other side of a big project: one that was begun reluctantly on our part, but has ended with a beautiful, much more stylish shower, significantly upgrading our master bath, and with confidence in DreamWorx, which we will unreservedly recommend to friends, family, and neighbors.
