I’m genuinely delighted to write this five-star review for Edge Kitchens / Edge Renovations. Hire them for your kitchen, bathroom or any other project, and your vision will spring to life. No problem … Edge will help you find that perfect balance between form and function and then deliver a wow factor with an eye toward everyday living. They are a one-stop shop, handling everything from start to finish, including demo, plumbing, electrical, flooring, cabinets, installation and any other conceivable step. And you’ll get it all within a very reasonable budget! Tim, the owner, is an excellent communicator and his estimates are detailed and clear, so there won’t be any unpleasant surprises. They’ll also treat your home as if it’s their own. We were amazed at the great care they took to protect our floors, walls and furniture during the entire process. Plus, when they’re doing your job, they’re doing your job – if you know what I mean. Unlike many contractors, they won’t leave you hanging while juggling sixteen other unfinished projects. Most importantly, the quality of their work is simply outstanding. Put it all together, and the Edge team (Tim, Tim and Dave) offers a truly unique combination of talent, professionalism, experience and enthusiasm. Let me put it this way: I won’t consider anyone else for our future home renovations.

Edge Kitchens renovated my kitchen and added a main floor coffee bar, fireplace built-ins and a walk-in closet as phase 1 of my house renovation. Tim and his team were absolutely brilliant to work with. From concept/design through to the finish they were patient and extremely professional. They went out of their way to make sure every aspect was as I wanted it. They helped me choose colours and materials and guided me through the process. Their dedication and attention to detail was amazing. The transformation was incredible and I am thrilled with the results. They truly care about the work they do!

Our house was built in the 1970's, most of it had been previously renovated with the exception of the kitchen & family room which had a lot of paneling, beams and "Spanish" style stucco on the walls and ceiling. I decided the best thing was to go down to the studs, refinish the walls and ceilings with new drywall and install new flooring and thought I could do the job myself! I completed the gutting and installation of new drywall, however we wanted to put the house on the market and this took so long, we decided we needed help to finish the project. We thought it would be hard to find someone to finish off a job but a friend recommended Edge Renovations. Tim came to have a look at what was involved, he was extremely personable and professional. He looked over everything, made some suggestions and did point out that he and his crew were very busy but would try to fit us in between projects already scheduled. It did take some time but when they finally arrived, what great guys they were. We were given a time frame and an indication of what would be completed daily. They even took time to research and locate crown molding to match that in the rest of the house and gave suggestions re paint colour etc. We decided to leave the old kitchen cupboards for now so Tim took measurements of the kitchen and offered to prepare a plan to replace the units in case we decide to go ahead before listing. They accommodated all our requests, everything was completed as scheduled and the house and the back yard (where any cutting was done) were left clean and tidy every day. They did a fantastic job and we would highly recommend them. Thank you Tim, Tim &Dave!

We had a complete kitchen renovation done last year by another company. Despite several visits following "completion" to ensure our satisfaction, we were ultimately left disappointed with much of the end product and the manner in which our voiced concerns were received. Fortunately, a colleague told me how happy she was with her recent kitchen work done by Tim at Edge Kitchens Inc. Tim and his team assessed our kitchen, empathized with our dissatisfaction and offered a number of simple, affordable, yet elegant solutions to improve the final product - without necessity of a complete redo. I have been impressed by the knowledge, professionalism and workmanship Tim's team have shown. I only wish I had met Tim and his team before starting my renovation in the first place.

We worked with Edge Kitchens for our full home renovation project (the entire first and second floor including a custom kitchen, three bathrooms, stairs, etc.) and are incredibly happy with how things turned out. Completing a kitchen renovation during the pandemic was not an easy feat. Tim's team did a fantastic job removing a load bearing wall, gutting and rebuilding our kitchen to be the most functional for our small space. The team was mindful of our timeline and respected the original features we were working toward preserving. We are very pleased with the outcome.

Tim, Tim, and Dave did a fantastic job and were extremely respectful of our home as we lived through the construction—even installing a plastic barrier to minimize the impact to our existing living space. The en-suite bathroom for the main bedroom needed to be redone. The original grout in the walk-in shower had deteriorated so that the entire shower had to be taken to the studs and redone in addition to replacing lights, repairing skylights in the cathedral ceiling, painting and getting a custom glass shower door made. The workmanship from every trade was professional and the quality outstanding. Everyone was friendly and communication was excellent.

We hired Edge Kitchens to remodel and redesign our primary ensuite and it was one of the best decisions we made. Aside from the wonderful craftsmanship, knowledgeable insight on products and cleanliness, Tim and his crew listened to what we were envisioning and made it a reality. Now we have this spa like dream ensuite that has met all of our expectations. We highly recommend Tim with Edge Kitchens for all your remodelling and contracting needs.

Tim and his team did a fantastic job with our kitchen and dining room remodel. The project was significant, involving the removal of a large load-bearing wall to join the two spaces, and a complete re-design of our dated kitchen. From the very onset of hiring Edge, I knew we were in good hands. Both him and his lead renovator (also Tim) were very clear about what the project would involve, from permitting and obtaining engineering drawings, to demo, moving electrical/plumbing and all the other steps that would be required to close off the project (tiling, installing new lighting, putting in new Cabinets etc.). His team always showed up on time, kept the site clean, were very polite and respectful, and sought our input when things needed to change. Tim had a well planned out schedule to wrap-up the job quicker than other contractors would have, with the project ending within the planned timelines and all materials arriving on time. He provided amazing advice on how to optimize the kitchen space, and when selecting the right Cabinets and finishing. Renovator Tim is a true craftsman, never cutting corners and ensuring all of his work is perfect. Whether it be tiling, drywalling or HVAC, he truly knows his stuff. Dave (Edge's Cabinet installer) did an amazing job ensuring a flawless install of our new cabinets and island. I interviewed 8+ contactors for this job, and can say without a doubt I'm glad I went with Edge. Would recommend them for any project you might be considering.

Had cabinets installed in our media room. The scope included a wet bar and some storage cabinets. Everything from design to final installation and adjustments was excellent. I can highly recommend them.

Completely transformed an unfinished basement area into 1100 sq. ft. of finished and functional living space; i.e. family room, bedroom with walk in closet, storage room, 3 piece bath, large laundry room and work shop. From inception to completion Tim was informative, insightful, professional, attentive to detail, consistently on time, listened to the customers wishes/needs, and offered good alternative suggestions on design, materials and cost. Tim was respectful of the customer's space, always protecting the flooring in the construction traffic area(hardwood and carpet) and tidying up the work area at the end of each day. He was always considerate of the customer's personal time, space and activities. The finished product met and exceeded our expectations. We are proud to show off our new space to family, friends and neighbours.

My wife and I hired Tim at Edge kitchens to select, design and install new kitchen cabinets. The cost was around $60G, and the cabinets were installed about 3 months ago. Since that time, my wife and I have been entirely satisfied with our cabinets - they are truly high-end cabinets and have a number of very nice features. We have no hesitation in recommending others to hire Tim to handle their kitchen Reno; Tim is responsible, experienced and professional, and he is absolutely determined to ensure that his clients are happy with the job. As well, Tim's cabinet installer, Dave, is a consummate cabinet installer, a highly skilled tradesman who strives for perfection.

Tim and Cory were great to work with on our main floor renovation. We removed a wall, extended our kitchen cabinets and added a huge kitchen island to our space. The whole main floor feels like a completely new house! They helped us design the space taking into account our specific preferences and functionality of the space and they worked hard to keep everything within our budget. They were flexible in allowing us to complete some parts of the project on our own since we are handy people, which also helped with budgeting. They worked around our timeline and made sure we were functional as soon as possible. The cabinets we bought are good quality yet affordable and Dave did a great job installing them with custom finishes. The downside of cabinets from a top manufacturer is that when changes are made, there is a long wait for replacement pieces as they are coming from out of province.

Our dated, space cluttering, three sided home desk and built in filing set up has been transformed into a contemporary, sleek, high functioning and gorgeous home office sanctuary. Edge Kitchens came through for us once more starting with great space planning and design ideas. Next came the quality cabinets from Quebec (including file fixtures) streamlined hardware and last, but not least, their professional installation including expert finishing carpentry. We could not be happier with the result from both aesthetic and practical standpoints. This is the fourth renovation project with Cory, Tim and their team and we highly recommend them. Ps, they are a friendly bunch too!

We were very pleased with our kitchen renovation done by Edge Kitchens. Cory was friendly and attentive from the first visit. He listened to our needs and translated them into a great 3D kitchen design. Workers were professional and courteous, and materials were top notch. Our project was finished in roughly the time expected- especially impressive given some obstacles we encountered. Would definitely recommend Edge Kitchens.

Our project involved removing a load-bearing wall, smoothing the popcorn ceiling, installing new hardwood and porcelain tiles, new lighting everywhere and a complete renovation of the kitchen. The first engineer visit was on March 26; the hall closet door was installed on July 30. All of the workers were meticulous craftsmen, and all were very polite. We lived in the house during the construction and Edge's team went to a lot of trouble to keep the drywall dust out of the rest of the house. During the project there were no more than 10 days when someone wasn't at the house doing something to advance the renovation. Any concerns I had during the renovation were addressed quickly. The followup for the very few items at the end was very quickly done. I am very happy with the outcome and I've received lots of complements on the kitchen.

The team at Edge Kitchens are genuine and client-focused individuals with a keen eye for quality workmanship and problem-solving. I live in a classic 1950s bungalow with lots of character that I wanted to maintain but modernize - and they got it! I like how Edge Kitchens worked with me to help me realize my vision. Edge Kitchens performed a bathroom renovation, excellent attention to detail and quality work. After an unforeseen leak created ceiling damage in my living room there was zero hesitation in fixing it. They replaced the damaged area and refinished and painted the entire ceiling including the hallway, very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend Edge Kitchens for any size renovation.

A drawer in my kitchen cabinet was not functioning. The company that installed my kitchen is no longer in business. I walked into Edge Kitchens and they agree to take a look at it. The owner Timothy came and was able to fix the tracks of the drawer. He didn’t have the right screws so he had to go out, get them, and come back. He is a very efficient and pleasant person. The customer service was excellent. I would recommend Edge Kitchens to my friends.
