This project was a kitchen renovation. There was a fair amount of demo including the expansion of an exterior window. It took approximately 6 months to complete. All appliances and cabinets were replaced. The finished product was a substantial improvement to the kitchen before and we are very happy with how it turned out.

The Ewings did a kitchen renovation for us in 2011, so when we decided to add a master bedroom suite to our 1911 farmhouse in 2013, we knew whom to call. We had several ideas in mind when we sat down to discuss our options. Paul Ewing brought in an architect who came out to the house to meet with us. The architect looked at the house, the site, and our drawings, and said he could put something together for us. He hit the nail on the head the first time. The design respected the house's age and yet added a modern twist to it. We added a master bedroom, en suite bathroom, a large walk-in closet, and a basement under the addition. Initially, the project completion time frame was estimated as six months. It ended up taking 18 months. Part of this was due to the house's age, and the problems inherent to a 100+ year old house. Part of it was a problem scheduling sub-contractors to come out, and weather delays. When we decided to do the addition, we also decided to put a new roof on the house, and re-side the old house to match the addition. In essence, we did an exterior renovation of the whole house, plus the addition. There was no way that the scope of that job could be only 6 months. The Ewing's carpenters and laborers are top notch. They were extremely competent, friendly, and dedicated. They were not afraid to make suggestions, and they were patient with our questions. It was obvious that they cared about their work and their customers, and we developed a real friendship with them through the process. The sub-contractors (roofing, flooring, painting, HVAC, plumbing, concrete work, etc.) were all very competent and good to work with. The project manager could have done a better job of staying on top of things and keeping us informed about scheduling of sub contractors, and of delays. We did run over budget because the scope of the job took longer than anticipated. Ewing worked on a cost-plus basis, so as things changed, the budget had to accommodate them. We chose some high end finishes which also impacted the budget. Overall, we were very satisfied.

I love my kitchen, my master bath suite and my office and the Ewing Company did an outstanding job, treating us very professionally. Workmanship was outstanding and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to build, remodel or have them design your cabinetry for your new construction. They are the best. Priscilla Morris

Very good about developing a vision for our kitchen. Their designers are great about keeping you from making dumb mistakes in design and astehtics. The quality of work is good and although they use subcontractors they seem to be vetted and monitored. Down side is that it takes a while to get in their schedule and they certainly are not cheap, but they do excellent work with minimal headaches.

Ewing provided excellent design and workmanship for our total kitchen remodeling project. They provided a daily schedule and kept to it even though we had terrible winter weather with ice and 6 inches of snow. The cost estimate was exact. The foreman had wonderful suggestions for small variations from the floor plan that made a tremendous difference for us. Ewing's kitchen designer was super to work with and even had us to her home to help us visualize how our cabinets and flooring might look. She was determined to design a cabinet/drawer for all our kitchen appliances, pots/pans, dishes etc. She even designed drawers to accommodate my numerous vases. We are so pleased with out kitchen and there is nothing in it we would want to change. Everyone who sees it is in awe and wants one just like it.

Ewing Cabinet Company designed our kitchen remodel. They listened to what we wanted practically while making suggestions to jazz things up. The result is a functional and attractive kitchen. They worked with sister company Ewing and Building and Remodeling as needed. The project price reflects the entire house remodel; not sure how to parse it out.

We have used Ewing cabinet for a number of projects for our small business, from cabinets to countertops. Debbie and the design team have been incredible at taking our ideas and concepts, tweaking them with their expertise, and the putting together multiple options that work within our budget range. After project approval, the rest of the Ewing team did a great job on the installation end. Prompt, courteous, clean and efficient. Wonderful to work with.

Ewing Cabinet Company asked me to list the features I wanted for my new kitchen, then designed a plan that incorporated all the things I wanted. They had many suggestions and options for really functional cabinets I didn't know existed! I am very pleased with my new kitchen and with the way they carried out the work. My kitchen is beautiful and a pleasure to work in!
