Freeman Builders Inc. did an excellent job remodeling our Craftsman-Victorian home. We completely replaced the knob & tube electrical wiring, added two bathrooms, replaced all the second-floor windows with custom windows that matched the original windows from 1905 and completely gutted & remodeled the kitchen. They did a great job dealing with both the City Planning Department and also the Historical Society. Their attention to detail, tenacity in getting things done as well as their excellent communication brought a challenging job to a successful completion and we recently received the historical designation from the city. That said, when it comes time to select a contractor, there are characteristics that a person SHOULD be looking for.
