I was very pleased with the work on my house in this second remodel, especially given the unexpected death of my husband, multiple changes his death precipitated, and my emotionally and physically exhausted state. I did want to commend multiple Christiansen personnel who were particularly helpful, creative at problem solving, expert craftsmen, and patient with an often not entirely "together" client. Jon (yourself): Top of the list. You were exactly the responsible, creative, and "responsive" manager I expected, especially given the challenging supply issues, sub availability issues, change orders, and my Gavin issues. Patient and kind to a troubled "little old lady"--much appreciated. Jerry: extremely responsive, expert craftsman, concerned about finding everything that needed fixing and seeing that it did get fixed. In addition to his expert carpentry, demolition, and construction on the big items (deck, gazebo, siding, bath carpentry), he did lots of fix up and clean up which was greatly appreciated by me who couldn't manage either mentally or physically , e.g. filling in water-filled pathway and foundation holes, getting every rodent-chewed wire fixed, patching holes in house and shop. Patient and kind--helped a lot. Dennis: responsive, creative and expert craftsman dealing with "pigs ears" existing cabinetry. He was also extra helpful with getting audio/video equipment re-installed and working. Also very patient and kind--helped a lot. Thanks again for your help over both projects. They worked with our original (and very rough!) sketch and tweaked and adjusted it until we found the perfect design. Using that design, the skilled craftsmen at the GCCI cabinet shop created a stunning black walnut entertainment center. To top off our experience with GCCI, an amazing installation crew spent four days in our home as they expertly finished our unit. All three men who made up the installation crew treated our home as if it were their own. Their clean up at the end of every day assured we would not be tripping over blocks of wood or spreading saw dust all over the house.. We engaged G. Christianson Construction to remodel our kitchen and replace siding and windows. In all tasks, they did an excellent job. The kitchen looks amazing. Tanner Wood was in charge of our project. He was always congenial, responsive and easy to work with. Sarah Maisel was our designer and provided alternate design plans, materials samples, and advice along the way. Ron Fishback and his shop built beautiful custom cabinets in cherry. Overall there is a sense of integrity and professionalism.

Attention to detail, integrity, and a fantastic crew made our remodel so much easier. From the first through the last meeting, our team's guidance and care were greatly appreciated and helped us create the kitchen addition of our dreams. We would not hesitate to come back with another project.

We worked with G. Christianson on a pretty major kitchen remodel, and the whole project went wonderfully from start to finish. They helped us develop our vision for the new kitchen into a concrete set of plans, and they worked with us to keep the project within our budget. As construction progressed, they were communicative and responsive. We really appreciated the weekly meetings they held with us, where they updated us on their progress and consulted with us about any changes we needed to make to our original plan due to unforeseen quirks in our mid-century house. In the end, the work is solid and beautiful, and our new kitchen is a joy to cook and bake in. We really appreciated the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and deep knowledge of the whole G. Christianson team. We felt like we were in good hands the whole time we worked with them. Just as importantly, everyone we interacted with during the project was friendly and professional, from Carl, the owner, to Anna, the designer we worked with, to Ben and the G. Christianson crew, to all of the subcontractors they brought in, and everyone else. We wouldn't hesitate to work with G. I have been associated with G. Christianson Construction Inc. since 2005 as a licensed sub-contractor (Signature Construction ccb# 96629). Greg Christianson approached me in 2005 and wanted to know if I was interested in doing the finish work for his projects. I’m proud to say that the relationship has lasted for 14 years, both with Greg and his son, Carl, who now runs the business. I’ve lost count of the number of projects I worked on with GCCI. But whatever the number is, there isn’t one that I walked away from at the end of the job and felt like it was done poorly. I was always given the time and resources to do the job the way I felt it should be done. The only reason our relationship is ending is because I’ve decided to move from Corvallis (family reasons). Over the past several years Carl has grown the company considerably and has assembled a very competent team of people who can get the job done. I feel a sense of sadness as I leave this great group of people who have become a major part of my life, but life goes on. I would never hesitate to recommend GCCI, even if I was no longer part of the team.

Christianson workers are always professional and courteous. Willing to do small jobs, as well as large ones. Dependable and work was well done.
