Gotham Kitchen & Bath

I simply cannot speak more highly of Kris DeVito and her team at Gotham Kitchen and Bath. At the recommendation of my GC, we entrusted Kris to completely redesign our kitchen after our recent renovation. The end result was nothing short of spectacular. Kris has an amazing eye and her attention to detail is unparalleled. We spent countless hours going over several renditions of layouts, until we finally came up with a layout that maximized the space. Putting functionality at the forefront, Kris developed a floorplan that brings ease of use to our fingertips, while simultaneously, delivering an incredibly pleasing aesthetic experience. Kris was beyond patient and ultra responsive to all of our requests. Not to be undone, her office manager Dana, was a tremendous asset during the ordering and delivery process keeping us apprised of every important detail along the way. A friend recently told me that getting a new kitchen is "life changing." I could not understand her comment until Kris delivered our dream kitchen to us. I would recommend her and her team without hesitation to any potential customer that wants to treat themselves to a life changing event!

I had such a wonderful experience with Gotham that I'm not even sure where to begin with this review! Redoing our kitchen was a massive undertaking for me and my husband, so it was crucial for us to feel very comfortable with the team working on it. We initially shopped around and went to a few different design centers, but nothing felt like the right fit until we met Kris. Unlike many of the other designers, Kris was never pushy or impatient. She took the time to understand our vision for the room and worked with us until we had the exact design we wanted. Kris is amazing at her job—not only is she talented and knowledgeable, but she is also helpful, patient, and caring. Billy and his crew were incredible as well. They were detail-oriented, punctual, communicative, and courteous. Billy would never settle for anything other than perfection. If I could give Kris & Billy more than five stars, I would. Thanks to them, we have the kitchen of our dreams!

We just completed a kitchen remodel with Gotham Kitchen and Bath. Billy and Kris were fantastic! After they both took measurements, we started by meeting with Kris in their showroom. She was personable and took our preferences into account when designing the perfect kitchen for us. Kris showed us renderings on her computer and looked at many samples. We explored options with Kris, who had so many good functional and design ideas. She and Billy clearly knew their stuff when it kitchen remodels. When it came to the construction, Billy offered to have his team do the demolition and build-out. He also recommended a local contractor since I live in up in Putnam County. When we encountered an unexpected problem during the construction (using the local contractor), Billy and his crew came up on a Saturday and fixed the problem within a day. Our kitchen remodel took about 6 weeks and it looks great. The colors all match and they incorporated so many design improvements. I can’t imagine it would have gone this smoothly without Billy and Kris. I’m so glad we used Gotham Kitchen and Bath for this project.

We worked with Kris Devito, one of the owners, on our project. We renovated our kitchen and she helped us with the new cabinets, countertops and backsplash. Kris is extremely knowledgeable and organized. She prepares a very detailed installation guide for the general contractor so the installers know where the cabinets go. Kris is outgoing and a pleasure to work with. She goes above and beyond and came on-site a few times to make sure the measurements were correct and that everything was proceeding smoothly. She also handled our countertops and backsplash and coordinated the installation. Kris is also a great resource for other vendors, i.e., appliances and plumbing suppliers. We would highly recommend her to anyone planning a kitchen renovation.

We recently completed a gut kitchen renovation. I am extremely detail oriented and can get bogged down in those details sometimes. I had a clear idea of what I wanted yet needed someone to guide me & help cut thru what can be easily overwhelming. When I met with Kris DeVito to talk about working together and vision for my kitchen I knew I wanted to work with her and that I would be in the BEST hands. The fact that I got Dana working with me too was just icing on the cake! Kris is so many things I’ve struggled with how to convey how truly terrific she is. Most important she’s real and transparent. There’s no BS or lip service here. She will be straight with you , not over promise and then not come thru. If anything, she and Dana do everything they can to overdeliver which is something in the best of times but especially noteworthy in these incredibly challenging times as it relates to lead time, delivery etc. During out lengthy project I’d have a concern to raise to my contractor and when I’d reach out to run it by Kris oftentimes she was already on it & had anticipated what I was thinking. Growing up with a Father in construction and married to a contractor, she’s knowledgeable to what’s possible and makes sense while also having a fantastic design sense too- a rare combo and someone that is an invaluable asset to your team. Dana is just a bright light who often made me smile and laugh thru the process. She works diligently with the vendors and delivery teams to work her magic to push delivery thru to you ASAP even in this climate. I hope to get the opportunity to work with Kris, Dana & Gotham again in the future! I’m so excited for their move closer to their beautiful new showroom in Scarsdale!!

Gotham is amazing! My husband and I highly highly recommend using this company for all your cabinetry needs. We recently just finished our entire kitchen, pantry and bar with Gotham and couldn’t be happier. Kris is the type of person who makes you feel like she’s known you forever. She made the entire process carefree and honestly just fun! She hooked us up with her contacts to make a custom hood which came out breathtaking if I do say so myself, and even countertops at a sick price. She was beyond easy to work with and was constantly in touch with our contractor. We definitely definitely will be using Gotham for all of our future home projects and can’t wait for them to be closer in Scarsdale!

To Whomever Reads this please take note, Firstly in my years owning homes and working on projects to refurbish and update I have NEVER come across a more COMPLETE, HONEST, PROFESSIONAL and TRANSPARENT company than GOTHAM KICTHEN & BATH. The whole process from start to end was flawless. Our journey with Gotham began when we popped into their showroom in Yonkers and met their Office Manager, Dana. What a beautiful and lovely person to greet us and get to know our service needs. From that moment on we knew this was the place that we were going to have design our dream kitchen. When you meet people and you feel a POSITIVE ENERGY and a KIND nature you cannot help but gravitate towards them…”that was our feeling from the get go!” We had our first appointment with the Chief Designer, Kris Devito and we were truly blown away. She has such great level of expertise in Kitchen Design and knows all the little tricks that you can do when designing. This was unquestionably and incredible asset and helped us create our DREAM KITCHEN. We had numerous appointments and drafts of the kitchen design and were constantly tweaking and suggesting different things, this really made us feel like “nothing was ever too much”. Like many people I’m sure we are spending a lot of money and have a keen eye on the detail but when working with Kris we were made to feel like we could ask all the questions we may have, about anything from cost, timing, Quality vs Spend, Tricks to stay within budget, vendors for other needs within the kitchen space (i.e. sink, faucet, appliances, worktops, and flooring). It was safe to say we were in really good hands and someone that knew the trade well and had some incredible connections with local family ran businesses. So building a kitchen is not straightforward and not everything goes smoothly. We had our ups and downs which all stemmed from reasons outside of our and Gotham’s control i.e. appliance delivery delays, cabinet manufacturer delays and so on. This is where KRIS DEVITO shines through….i cannot believe the way she reacted to problems that cam about….her reaction time was impeccable, follow up and relentless pursuit for making us happy and feel like we really mattered. I cannot thank her enough for this. At the time my wife was 8 months pregnant and Kris & Catania Maintenance did everything they possibly could to make us feel like they were on top of everything whether it be delivery timings, installation time and just overall tweaks that we are making to the design. One of pinnacle moments of our kitchen process was when Kris took it upon herself to challenge the appliance dealer and have them prioritize our order….and it worked. She demonstrated how dedicated she is to making her clients happy and feel respected…this was truly an ABOVE and BEYOND action. Lastly our kitchen is the DREAM KITCHEN we could have, and its finished to an incredible standard to such a point the value of our home has now gone up by 15%. #GOWITHGOTHAM

We worked with Kris at Gotham Kitchen & Bath on our kitchen renovation. She helped us with some updates to the kitchen's existing design and provided all the cabinetry. The experience was amazing! Kris and her team were responsive, on-time, and very knowledgeable. They had lots of good feedback about cabinet sizing and placement as well as input on our design choices. The cabinetry was delivered on-time and in amazing condition. As with any cabinet delivery there was one or two dings but the Gotham team helped tackle these issues immediately! I can't say enough good things about Gotham and if you're looking to do kitchen or bath work in your home you can't go wrong with Kris and her team!
