Häcker Greenwich

When my wife Susan and I were building our new home in Connecticut, we originally planned to go with a traditional cabinet maker. By complete chance, we discovered HÄCKER of Greenwich — and that decision transformed our entire home. The design process was unlike anything we had experienced. Instead of simply designing cabinets, they studied the architecture, flow, lighting, and overall vision of our contemporary new construction. What they created was extraordinary. The kitchen is a masterpiece — the clean, flush German cabinetry, the warm wood grain, the seamless appliance integration, and the perfectly balanced mix of textures make the space feel architectural, not just functional. The dining room built-ins are elegant and modern with beautifully illuminated display niches. The pantry is both stunning and incredibly practical. Every space flows together effortlessly. But the true standout of our experience was Maya Nair. Maya is warm, thoughtful, and impeccably organized — organized to absolute precision. Her timing, coordination, and attention to detail were flawless. The installation was seamless. Everything fit perfectly the first time. No revisions. No stress. Just perfection executed exactly as planned. Even after completion, whenever we’ve reached out, Maya has been gracious, responsive, and a true professional in every sense. Working with her was an absolute pleasure. We will be completing our laundry room and master closets this summer, and without hesitation, we will only work with Maya Nair at HÄCKER of Greenwich. If you are building or renovating and want cabinetry that feels like architectural art — combined with a seamless, first-class experience — HÄCKER of Greenwich, and especially Maya Nair, are simply exceptional. We couldn’t recommend them more highly. ✨

From the very first meeting, we knew Maya was someone special. She has a calm, confident presence that immediately put us at ease, and it was clear from the start that her expertise in kitchen design runs deep. Over the many months we worked together, she became not only a vendor but a trusted advisor and collaborator. We thought our plan was complete, yet she surprised us with thoughtful variations that greatly influenced the overall design of our renovation and challenged us to take risks with the interiors. It felt like we had an interior designer on the team as she thoughtfully considered the whole project, not just the kitchen and bar. The product itself is in a class of its own. Before moving forward, we evaluated all of the major high-end Italian and German kitchen brands. Häcker stood out as both stunning and brilliantly functional. Every detail reflects thoughtful design. The channels, for example, are beautifully lit and sized so even large hands can comfortably open doors and drawers, details that are often overlooked elsewhere. For us, the kitchen had to serve as both a striking showpiece and a true working chef’s kitchen, and Häcker achieved that balance flawlessly. What impressed us just as much as the product was the process. Everything happened exactly as promised. The schedule was kept, every change was accommodated without issue, the price never shifted, and installation was smooth from beginning to end. Maya and her team were on site every single day during installation, overseeing every detail. That level of dedication and accountability is virtually unheard of in this industry. The end result is a kitchen that has exceeded every expectation; precise, beautiful, and functional in equal measure. We have zero hesitation recommending Häcker, Maya, and her incredible team for the highest-end kitchen renovations. Working with them was one of the best decisions we made in our entire project!

Finally!!! We have our dream kitchen! We vetted several kitchen designers and looked into many different cabinet makers/style (only European) and stumbled upon Hacker Greenwich. From the beginning, we felt at home with the warm reception from Theresa. We informed Theresa of what we were looking for and she walked us through cabinet styles and countertops. From this point, we knew this would be a wonderful collaboration as we were listened to from the start. Then, Maya!! We met Maya at our house and it took a few minutes for her to lay out the design based on the space and at this point, we knew our dream will come through. Maya also listened to our wants and was extremely patient with us throughout the entire process. It was a collaborative effort from the beginning which we really appreciated. After initial layout onsite, Maya later presented a design for our kitchen, walk-in pantry and laundry room that is absolutely exquisite. Hacker Greenwich's cabinet installers were also very skilled. We are very happy with the outcome and would 100% recommend Hacker Greenwich. (Greenfield Hills, Fairfield CT)

We contracted with Maya at Hacker Kitchens Greenwich in February to build our dream kitchen. She had great reviews and can travel anywhere. Maya is very, very, very precise and careful. Measurements are to 1/16 of an inch and we were thrilled. You will never find anyone like her. She is an engineer, designer and an architect. If you want your kitchen done fast and cheap; go somewhere else. If you want it done just once and beautifully; make an appointment with Maya. I have done 5 kitchens over my life and this was by far the best one. A few things you should know regarding a total redo of a kitchen like we did. 1-The process will take time, probably longer than you think, and you can not rush it 2-It will cost more than you think for crazy things you will pick out later in the process. I just spent $112 for special electrical faceplates on Amazon because they were gorgeous. Hacker Kitchens is responsible for cabinets, appliances (which are frequently incorporated into the cabinets), backsplash and countertops. You may need a general contractor for specialities like electrician, plumber, carpenter, etc. She may be able to help with recommendations or I would be happy to share names of the professionals that I used in the NY, CT area. If you speak with Maya and want to see a finished kitchen, ask her to call Louis or Susan. We would be proud to show you.

Maya and her team were incredibly professional and talented throughout the entire lifecycle of our project. Our medical spa features luxurious, high-end cabinetry that doubles as a functional art piece, enhancing the aesthetic of each suite as you step inside. Maya takes a genuine personal interest in her projects and clients, dedicating time to truly understand your goals and vision for the space. She carefully designs and develops a well-thought-out plan that reflects both style and practicality. We couldn’t be happier with the results and highly recommend Hacker Greenwich.

We used Hacker to renovate our kitchen in Dubai - and we knew we wanted the same level of service and finishes for our home here. I found Maya’s info after a few minutes of searching (thank you google!) and never looked back! We knew Hacker had beautiful hardware - but the service (which to me, is crucial) was fantastic. Maya invested her time and energy as if it was her own kitchen. She listened to our objections with patience and a smile, she listened to our ideas and came up with solutions that worked for everyone. Even when we had an unexpected delay, she managed US really well and made sure no time or money was wasted. She coordinated with our contractor at every step and checked all the detailed until everything was perfect and was honest about everything throughout the project. She also helped us with the Miele appliances! I would HIGHLY recommend Maya and her team - it’s worth the money and the peace of mind:)

We are very pleased with our new kitchen. Maya listened to what we did and didn't want as the design developed. We are very happy with the final design and the quality of the cabinets. The project was completed on schedule by a skilled set of installers. Maya was a pleasure to work with and we recommend her highly.

When we embarked on our kitchen and mudroom renovation, we had never gone through a project of this kind before and had no idea where to start. Working with Maya and her team was truly phenomenal from start to finish. We talked Maya through how we use our kitchen, the design aesthetic we were looking for and what features / appliances we wanted to include. Maya then put together an initial design proposal that considered everything we had discussed. We then worked closely with her to build out the final design. In addition to her great ideas, I remember Maya's almost endless patience when it came to working with us through our first major kitchen and mudroom renovation. Needless to say, the final product was both beautiful and perfectly designed around us and our needs.

Very happy with the new kitchen. It turns out exactly like what I wanted, clean, modern and functional. Maya gave us great suggestions on the color and materials based on the space near our kitchen and the house in general. The wait time for cabinets to be done and shipped is long, but the installation went smoothly thanks to Maya’s coordination. Her team also helped out with our communication with Miele appliances. Highly recommended!

My kitchen looks amazing, quality cabinets, beautiful hardware, countertops and backsplash. A big thanks to Maya and her team. I had a wonderful experience from the beginning through the end. She was very organized, knowledgeable and professional. They were on time with everything. It was a pleasure working with her and her team. I highly recommend Häcker Kitchens Greenwich to anyone who would like to have a hassle-free project and a beautiful new kitchen.

My husband and I highly recommend Hacker Kitchens...they are phenomenal. We did a total renovation of our kitchen and added a modern bar to our family room. Maya Nair and her team are highly skilled professionals who go above and beyond in terms of attention to detail, managing the entire project from start to finish, coordinating with contractors and making sure everything is done to perfection. The product line is beautiful as well as sturdy and functional. We love our new Hacker kitchen!

My husband & I are very satisfied customers of Häcker Greenwich. We couldn't ask for better design acumen and service than what we received from Maya Nair at Häcker. Despite living in North Palm Beach, Maya being located in Greenwich, CT, and the cabinets being shipped from Germany, the design, product, as well as service was seamless. I depended on Maya to execute a beautiful kitchen, dry bar, as well as bathrooms and she did it! Our renovation is beautiful thanks to Maya Nair and her personalized service. My husband and I recommend her without hesitation.
