Hammerhead transformed our family room from the 70's to an up-to-date style. It involved a new ceiling, lighting, a custom mantel, and new colors. Dimitri and Mike were wonderful to work with and we are thrilled with the results.. We will definitely hire them for work in the future.

We hired Hammerhead Carpentry to do several projects for us including building a custom fireplace and repairing and rebuilding a roof deck area and the railing and were 100% pleased with all aspects of the jobs. From the beginning Dimitri was a pleasure to talk to and work with. He provided great feedback, ideas and specifics about what he would do and why, was very punctual with both the estimate and work and kept the job site and surrounding area exceptionally clean during the project and when he left. He even came back several weeks after the jobs were done to make sure we were happy with the results. Every person who came to work on the jobs upheld the same professionalism as well and were very respectful- even being extra kind to my bothersome 4 year old! We would highly recommend Hammerhead for all types of home remodeling and repairs and can't wait to get them back once we are ready to renovate our master bath. It is so nice to work with people who we completely trust with the integrity or their work and actually enjoy having in our home.

The Hammerhead team did a great job finishing my basement. They took a blank canvas and helped design and build a wonderful space for me and my family to enjoy. Remodeling of our kitchen with Hammerhead Custom Carpentry was a pleasure. We were kept fully informed through phone calls or emails as to their schedule, estimate and costs. They were prompt, courteous and most of all respectful of our property. Floors and furniture were covered, and they were wonderful about cleaning up after they finished working each day. Our kitchen is everything we hoped it would be. Without a doubt, this was one of the best companies were ever worked with them. We plan to use them again.

HCC is a top notch contractor who puts their customer's needs first with meticulous attention to detail, professionalism, and friendly hardworking employees that are willing to go above and beyond for their customers. Our kitchen renovation included a 16' load barring wall to be removed and reinforced, not an easy job, but HCC did it beautifully. Our cabinets were installed quickly, and when we decided to rearranged some of them, HCC was there to rework the arrangement without hesitation. We also removed a window to create a sliding glass door for easy access to our back yard. The crew of HCC worked seamlessly together to complete the job on time and within the budget. Hammerhead Custom Carpentry built our beautiful sunroom the summer of 2009. This was a huge project as the area was transformed from a lovely deck that we used part of the year to a room that's filled with floor to ceiling windows that lets in the natural light, heated tile floors, beautiful french doors, and a vaulted ceiling with sky lights. It's just as pretty in the cold of winter watching the snowfall outside but being warm and cozy on the inside as it is on a warm summer evening watching the starts through the skylights. Our sunroom is easily our favorite and most used room in our home in every season. Dimitri, owner of Hammerhead Custom Carpentry takes pride in his superb craftsmanship as well as his relationship with his customer. He listens to your ideas, keeps you informed through every step of the process and always has a positive attitude. We have hired HCC for other projects in our home since our sunroom addition. These include adding hardwood flooring, a built in bookcase in our basement and crown molding in a few of our bedrooms. We are thankful for the superb job HCC has done for us with each of these projects and we know we will call on him again in the future. I highly recommend HCC for any project you may have.

Hammerhead Custom Carpentry worked as part of a team of professionals that updated my kitchen. My husband and I took care of demolition of the old kitchen, right down to the bare walls, and then Hammerhead took over. The work was professional, on time, and within budget. Dimitri and his crew are very professional and have wonderful design ideas. I have seen his work in person and it is beautiful. We received an estimate for remodeling our bathroom and the only reason Hammerhead hasn't been hired is because I need to find a window of time for the project. When we're ready, Hammerhead will be our first choice.

We have hired Hammerhead Custom Carpentry for home improvement projects and remodeling in two of our homes. He has completed huge remodel projects including a kitchen, two bathrooms, and also smaller projects like a fireplace mantel and crown molding. Dimitri is highly skilled and reliable. We had Hammerhead replace a dated bathroom in our old farmhouse; and 3 years later it still feels like something in a magazine. The job involved gutting the old fixtures, extending the footprint of the space into an adjoining room, installing a tub, and custom designing a large shower with window view to outdoors. A pocket door was crafted out of an original door from the house to create a private toilet area, slate floor and granite countertop were installed, plumbing and light fixtures were installed, wainscoting was installed, and walls and trim were painted. Dimitri was very helpful with problem solving in the design phase, and linked us with great local vendors for tile, etc. What stands out is the level of service and professionalism. As expected in any old house where nothing is level or even, there were unexpected glitches, but all were handled cheerfully. The crew took care to minimized dust and disruption to the house. Dimitri was on site every day, and emails were answered within hours if not minutes. Quality of work was 5 star, and has held up beautifully 3 years later. I would give Hammerhead the highest recommendation, and plan to use them when we are ready for a kitchen renovation.
