Our kitchen project was a remodel and from the very first day Helmut’s design team were not only able to identify efficiencies to be gained with new cabinet layouts, but also gave recommendations on changes out of their scope of work that made are our kitchen more pleasant. They communicated with us all through the project and delivered the cabinets ahead of schedule. Quality of their product and installation was incredible.

Top quality products and a great company to work with. Design was perfect. Craftmanship was everything we wanted for the remodel of a 1906 mansion. We are very happy with our end product.

We wanted to remodel our kitchen beginning with bare walls. Keeping it local made it easy with Kitchens By Design - now Helmut - not far down the road. After stopping in at their showroom, they came right out to the house and asked questions and gave ideas. They drew up the plans and kept in touch often as we made changes together. After a short time, our kitchen was installed and we LOVE it. These people are kind, professional, and very knowledgeable! I would recommend this company to anyone looking for great quality work.

We built our dream home last year and unfortunately our experience with another local cabinet company did not go very well. We needed to replace all the doors and drawer fronts on our cabinets and after meeting with Clayton we knew KBD was exactly who we needed to get this done right. Getting the finish and color to match the existing cabinet boxes was very challenging and quite tricky! Clayton was very determined and did not give up until it was just right! I really really appreciated his persistence. We love our cabinets now. KBD is different. There is something special about this company. They take great pride in their work. We hired them to clean up someone else’s mess and they did a beautiful job. Thank you all at KBD for resolving this issue at a reasonable cost!

Working with them was easy, my wife and I met with them with some idea what we wanted and they brought our idea to life. After the install I had them design and build a movable center island and again they held to the price but went way above what I expected! Every day since project completion (September 2014), we still marvel at how great the kitchen and dining room remodel of our loft turned out. We could not be more pleased about the way our project was organized, scheduled, and completed. Given that a significant portion of the design and the majority of construction was completed hundreds of miles from our home, it was incredible how well all the angles and the intricate details fit so perfectly during the installation. Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph a few kitchen installations from Kitchens by Design. I also visited their showroom and shop area and met all the brothers of this family-owned business. They were amazing to work with and super helpful! Their attention to detail is unparalleled and I could see it in every photograph I captured. The top-notch materials they use play a big factor in the quality of their work. Even the narrow gap between inset cabinet doors mattered, and they would custom adjust hinges for flawless operation. Every client we visited on their behalf was thrilled with their new kitchen cabinetry. They won't disappoint you!

I wanted to replace a worn out cabinet /counter in my insurance office and contacted Kitchens by Design for a quote. (one of three I contacted for quoting purposes) Clayton responded quickly and I felt was the one that listened best to my wants and needs. He made several suggestions, from replacing an area of shelving with file drawers to introducing me to an entirely new-to-me counter top surface.
