We did completed a full gut renovation about eight months ago with Home Design & Co, and it was a great experience from beginning to end. Everything was clearly explained before the project started, the pricing was transparent, and the schedule was exactly what we expected. Any changes we made along the way were documented through change orders, so there were never any surprises. What impressed us the most was that Home Design & Co truly handled everything. We didn’t have to hire an architect, an expediter, or worry about any of the paperwork required by our building. They took care of the plans, approvals, blueprints, elevations, inspections, and every technical detail that came up during the renovation. As homeowners, we quickly realized how valuable that was because most of us don’t speak the language of construction or understand everything a building requires. Having one company manage the entire process made the renovation feel simple and stress-free. John’s experience really stood out throughout the project. I recently purchased a studio in a condo at Rivendell, and working with Home Design & Co was one of the best decisions I made. From the very beginning, everything was discussed in detail, and they understood exactly the vision I had for the space. One thing that really impressed me was their planning. Instead of demolishing my old kitchen right away, they first built and prepared the new one. Once everything was ready, they removed the old kitchen and installed the new one. The only delay was waiting three days for the countertop so the sink and appliances could be installed, which was completely expected. Another thing I truly appreciated was how organized they were with the financial side of the project. My father purchased the apartment for me, and the project manager handled everything professionally. We started with a 50% deposit, followed by a clear progress payment schedule. At the final walkthrough, my father requested a complete breakdown of every payment made from the beginning to the end of the project, and they had every record organized and ready exactly as agreed. I would absolutely recommend Home Design & Co to anyone looking for a professional remodeling company. In fact, after seeing the work being done in my condo, two of my new neighbors asked about my experience and ended up signing contracts with them for their own renovations. Highly recommended. I would gladly refer them again.

HOME DESIGN & CO have finished working in our home originally started with our bathroom, than decided to do the second bathroom, kitchen, flooring and interior paint. Everything looks great. The process was really smooth which made it easy to say let’s continue on other projects, we did have a few minor delays on the way but everything was taken care of promptly and we were about everything that was involved JOHN manager never kept us in the dark which was really great. I had the absolute pleasure of working with John and his team on a very special project. I renovated my NYC apartment which included a gut renovation and updating all electrical. We looked at many, many high-end apartments in NYC, searching for that one extraordinary place that we could call “home.” We found it in an apartment gut-renovated by Home Design & Co. Our first glance convinced us, later confirmed by a careful examination of the fabulous work done by the company. The finest materials, beautiful custom millwork, exceptional built-in cabinets and amazing paint work sold us on the apartment. The work was masterfully done with the care, precision and exquisite attention to fine detail rarely seen today. The craftsmanship and workmanship were of the highest quality. John Posada did additional work for us including wiring, lighting and appliance installation. He was equally exacting, careful, accommodating and always responsive. I hired John and his team at Home Design and Co. to handle repair work prior to listing a home for sale. The scope included (but was not limited to) drywall and plaster repair and replacement, painting, flooring repair and replacement, window repair and replacement, light plumbing and electrical, and deep cleaning. The overall quality of the work was excellent. As with any home repair project, as work progressed the scope of work changed. Throughout the process, the Home Design and Co. team was clear and straightforward in their estimates, responsive to my questions and requests, and generally professional and easy to work with. They also did an excellent job managing communication and compliance with the building management company used by my condominium, which had historically been an issue with other contractors. I would recommend Home Design & Co to anyone undertaking a home repair or construction project.

Home Design & Co has done a number of projects for me, both extremely large jobs that require permits, scaffolding , repair of water damage to interiors needing full renovations. The work is superb. John , the owner , is incredibly reponsive, gives thorough estimates both with price and timing and lives by his word. His company provides on-going pictures of the work he has been hired to do, so it is possible to see the project from beginning to completion. I cannot say enough about his communication from start to finish , his impeccable attention to detail and his work ethic. John is a pleasure to work with. There is no job too big.

Overall, the project was completed as soon as possible. Aside from shipping delays that were out of their control, they were quick and efficient. They worked with style/material requests and budgetary concerns as best as possible.
