Intown Craftsmen did an amazing job on my home addition and renovation! From start to finish, they were professional, reliable, and dedicated to delivering top-quality work. The materials they used were of the highest standard, and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the project. The scope of the work was extensive, including a 500+ square foot addition with a mudroom, bathroom, and office, a complete kitchen renovation, two existing bathroom renovations, as well as a new roof and exterior and interior paint. Essentially, every room in the house was touched, and the results are simply stunning. Throughout the project, any issues that arose were handled promptly and effectively, leaving me with complete peace of mind. I couldn't be happier with the outcome, and I wholeheartedly recommend Intown Craftsmen to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled team for their home improvement needs. Five stars all the way!

The professionals at Intown Craftsmen are a fantastic resource if you have a major remodel. Their team will coordinate all of your work and supervise it for you. They provide excellent communication and want you to be pleased and satisfied with your final project. I bought a Decatur home and was remodeling from out of state. They were great folks to work with.

Intown was great to work with and quickly got a handle on an issue that had been misdiagnosed. They were professional, personable, and communicative. We loved working with Ben and Andrea, and we're pleased with the quality and price of the work we received.

Intown craftsman did a fantastic job on our projects. We had a custom tiered garden fence installed, as well as a small shed/bike shed attached to our house. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail of the project was done right. Hectors craftsmanship was impressive, and they were able to complete to entire project in just about two weeks. We really couldn’t have asked for anything better from them, and will absolutely be using them again for future projects!

I had such a great experience with Intown Craftsmen. The entire process of getting the work done in my kitchen was seamless from beginning to end. It wasn't very long at all after I contacted Intown about the work I needed done that I was on the schedule. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the work was completed. And I am so happy with how everything turned out. This business really catered to my needs. I really appreciated how friendly and helpful everyone was. I will definitely be contacting them again for future jobs.

We hired Intown Craftsmen to put an addition on our house and adding an addition to a house that is over 100 years old is not an easy task. The addition involved every aspect of construction, plumbing, HVAC, building above the garage and redoing the roof, etc. Upon our first meeting with Russ and telling him what we wanted, he was genuinely excited to do the job. They did the job so well that you really can’t tell it is not part of the original house. You can tell they take pride in their work. I would hire them again without a second thought!!

UPTADE : I was definitely pleasantly surprised 3 years later when Ben from Intown reached out to me. My email asking for assistance somehow finally made it to them. Very odd but ok. They came out and fixed the stairs. They went from shaky to sturdy and all the areas of short cut like the vertical rods I have been glueing in for the past few years have been properly set. New pieces were retained to match the rest of the deck as well. I give them kiddos to reaching out because it has been 3 years. They could have just ignored it as I really had moved on. InTown Craftsman just finished my "warranty" job. I put warranty I quoted because basically they have no almost fixed what they messed up. They had a deck job for me - just added stairs. The work began great. There were some delays and lack of communication but I figured they were busy. Then the work started and like I said was going fine. However once the initial pieces for the stairs were put in and the finishing work was in progress the guy who was working on the deck cut corners I. Every way and had to redo so much. They had extra posts so instead of continuing to space them evenly they spaced them closer together to use them all. The gate at the top of the stairs was and is still a bit crooked. Because it was so off in the beginning it wouldn't close so instead of rebuilding the gate he just started sanding down my existing post. Bad idea as I had them replace the post and fix the gate. Then to do this instead of removing the old post he cut the old post and screwed the new one on top. With I had them come fix. Everything was good enough. And then the complaints of how much the job was costing them. And I could not care less. If it was down right the first time it would take less time. Also the wood they used is crap. They are hard to get in touch with They cut corners They have horrible contractors They do shorty work

We are really pleased with the work of Intown craftsmen. They divided one large bedroom in my home into two and added an additional light fixture. This work was completed on a very short timeline and Intown repeatedly checked the progress and our satisfaction throughout the job. The children LOVE their new rooms. I especially appreciated that the pricing was transparent upfront and economical. We loved that Intown Craftsmen were so invested in our project, especially when other contractors would not consider our project because it was too small for them. Home improvement, especially where children are involved and for a growing blended family is such a personal thing, and these guys really did a great job caring for us. It gave the children a space created especially for them and helps to make them feel at home. I cannot recommend them enough!

I had a very positive experience with Intown Craftsman for our roof repair. All emails or phone calls were followed promptly with a response from Deb--she was knowledgeable and eager to assist us. The repair itself was smooth and much easier than I had expected. Best of all, the cost was 1/3 of what was quoted by other companies. I really appreciate their work.

Be careful if you hire. They upcharged us twice after work got started (once for $1000 and once for $1400) for items that were addressed on the estimate. They were also the most expensive out of three companies considered.

They do very high quality work and are very responsive to the customer's needs and goals. We have used them to do a variety of things for us, including lots of painting, carpentry and deck maintenance, and all the work has been excellent. We put a high value on their ability to function as a "general contractor" actively supervising the crews and checking in with us on all details that arise.

Russ, Deb and the team at Intown Craftsmen are simply fantastic. They renovated our 1939 cottage in the summer of 2016 and did excellent quality work on budget and on time. I'd recommend them to anyone. The renovation included a new roof, complete interior painting, kitchen update and flooring.
