We recently completed a total kitchen renovation using cabinets designed and constructed by J Thomas Kitchens. We had our own contractor install them and the entire process from start to finish was pretty much perfection. During the design phase, Joe helped me find the unique cabinet finish I was looking for. He is great educating you on all of your options; he is an excellent and patient communicator. When I put in the final order, I knew exactly what I was getting…and that’s exactly what I got. No surprises, and the cabinets came in exactly when Joe said they would (in the midst of global supply chain issues!). The cabinets were actually ready before we we ready for them! Joe stored them in his shop but actually laid them out in his shop according to the kitchen plan so we could get an idea of how everything would look before installation. Joe told us he had also rejected a few pieces and ordered replacements. He showed us the rejected pieces and I could barely see what he was referring to. He is Meticulous. Joe was also available to our contractor to answer any questions. Joe stopped by multiple times during installation. I know he is super busy but somehow he could always stop by when we needed him to. Joe has a super quick response time, enabling the installation to keep moving forward without missing a beat. I also changed my mind last minute on a few things and Joe was able to order an extra piece for me and have it expedited. The end project is spectacular! During installation, our contractor noted the quality of the cabinets multiple times. When we told him what we paid for the cabinets, our contractor said, “well you picked the right guy!”. I can’t imagine there is anyone out there who could have provided a better experience from start to finish than Joe and J Thomas Kitchens. A class act and simply the best. Thanks Joe!

Choosing a kitchen designer / installer was the toughest part of our home renovation. Within my first conversation with Joe, I knew we had found our guy. CWP Cabinet Concepts was the most reliable and professional contractor that we have ever had perform re-modeling work in our home. They had an incredible number of years of experience with re-modeling to share with us as we worked with them to design our kitchen. They were constantly communicating with us on what was accomplished each day relative to our project. For example: when they would arrive the next day, what aspect of the job would be worked on the following day. The estimated budgets were very, very reliable. We hired CWP to help remodel our first floor/kitchen. Not only did they do a fantastic job with our cabinetry but they assisted in the general contracting work when needed to find additional contractors (flooring, electrical, etc.). CWP also helped design a floor plan and coached us through some decisions we may not have originally made then yielded a better end result and help keep our budget in check. Joe did a complete kitchen gut and remodel for us and we could not be happier! The kitchen came out better than we imagined: completely gorgeous. From the first time he came and met with us he was professional, had great ideas for the space and listened to our ideas. The cabinets are of beautiful quality and are nicer then the ones we were looking at with some other larger kitchen remodelers. Before we started the project Joe laid out a calendar which gave the dates everything would take place, he stuck to that calendar to the day! This is a totally professional company. The work is done to your specifications or they will give you some great ideas for each situation. They come in when they tell you and are timely and neat while they are in your house. The prices are fair and the owner Joe Cerami is great to work with. This is our second time, as he did our daughters renovation and is now planning to do ours. We have also suggested this company to our neighbors who are using him right now on a total renovation of their kitchen, dining area and bath.

He not only designed it, but he arranged for all the sub contractors to be here in a timely manner and complete their work on time. Getting a plumber, an electrician, demolition and flooring installer were all completed on time and flawlessly. Joe was here to supervise all aspects of the project, not just the cabinets. It's amazing how many decisions have to be made with a total kitchen remodel. We found Joe to be patient and and a valuable resource that we came to rely on. Having had some horrible and costly experiences with previous contractors over the years, we were extremely skeptical about hiring yet another, however from our first meeting with Joe we were impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, and responsiveness to our individual ideas for our kitchen redesign. Joe took the time to really listen and understand our overall (and somewhat unclear!) vision for the space which included the dining room, office and entry way in addition to the kitchen. His ultimate design was beyond our imagination and we were excited to get started. Joe’s contract proposal included a detailed cost breakdown of all project elements including costs for overall construction, plumbing, electrical, and flooring as well as estimates for appliances, countertops, lighting and backsplash. Once we settled on a start date, Joe’s exceptional project management skills kicked in and he presented us with a calendar showing us every milestone from the initial teardown through every selection and install of appliances, floor, cabinets, counter tops and backsplash.. and that the entire project would take less than 60 days! We were once again skeptical that it really could be completed in such a short time but Joe kept to his schedule and expertly managed his team to ensure all construction, plumbing, electrical and flooring were done on time and within our budget. He was always onsite to ensure things were done to his specifications and he left the workspace immaculate after each day. He was also available after hours to answer our numerous questions and provide additional guidance on appliances, hardware and lighting selections. We now have an incredibly beautiful and unique space and continue to get compliments from all our family and friends. We would absolutely recommend Joe without hesitation!! During the entire project, my husband was suffering from a serious illness and was in and out of the hospital. Joe and his staff were incredible. He did a full remodel of our kitchen cabinets, cabinets, hardwood floors, and bathroom tile. His specialty is the custom cabinetry, but the people who helped with the rest of the house did an outstanding job as well. Our in-store cabinetry looks fabulous. Every customer that comes into the store looks at the very professional and well built shelving which attracts them to look at the items we are selling in the store. The coffee bar, which is also custom built, made the most out of a very small area that we had to work with. Joe did a really excellent job and the turn around time was more than accomodating to the tight time frame that we had to finish the work and re-open the store. I helped a family friend redo his house from Superstorm Sandy and I needed new kitchen cabinets and countertops. Joe was recommended to me by a friend, the homeowner and I met with Joe; his eye for design was great. We found CWP after 2 friends of mine, independently of one another, both provided me with glowing reviews for CWP's work. We were undertaking a full, down-to-studs kitchen reno with a very modern look. The quotes we had been receiving were astronomical, and frankly, making me regret doing the renovation in the first place. Joe met with us, and our Architect, at the site and not only provided a great price quote, but he even was able to make several suggestions that not only saved money, but also greatly improved the workflow of the kitchen. I especially love the knife block drawer and my spice drawer. The scale of the tall cabinets is hard to convey in pictures, so I included a shot with a my Dyson for scale. The kitchen contains 2 paneled dishwashers, as well as two paneled Sub-Zero 700TCI fridge/freezers. Prior to the install Joe mocked up the cabinets in his work shop so we could literally walk through the kitchen and get a feel for it. This also allowed us to make any last minute tweaks prior to the install. This act alone was a HUGE help in the process. The speed and quality of the work that was performed by CWP can not be overstated. I'm sure that anyone that has undertaken a large scale renovation knows all about delays and hold-ups; CWP was not part of that. In fact, CWP was the smoothest part of the entire job. We are so pleased with the work that CWP has done in the Kitchen that we are planning on using them for our walk-in closets, as well as bathroom vanities in the future. Everyone that has been over to the house since the kitchen was completed has been blown away by the look and feel of the kitchen.

I cannot say how wonderful Joe and his crew are. They are professional, courteous, extremely competent and knowledgeable. We had our kitchen completely gutted for renovation and some other resheetrocking issues throughout our home. Joe was on site almost daily. He was certainly there when a new crew was coming in order to do introductions. If I didn't speak direct with Joe, he sent me emails detailing what would happen the upcoming week. Workers showed up on time and worked all day!! They are very clean, leaving each day with no debris or piles of stuff, tools stacked neatly. I have a unique floor and Joe went the extra mile to find someone who could/would do the job and he managed that part for me too. Joe seemed to have an instant vision for my kitchen. He listened to mine, described his and I was sold(though Joe does not come off as a salesman). He also gave me a 3D design drawing that I found to be a helpful tool. My kitchen came out beautiful, so much better than the picture in my head. I worked with Joe's contractors and vendors, and experienced the same level of professionalism across the board. All around a good experience with quality material and quality work.

Joe did a wonderful job on my powder room. He knew exactly what I wanted and had a lot of samples and designs to choose from. And best of all, it was all done at the designated time. I'm looking forward to working on my kitchen next!

Am writing this review a couple of months after Joe and his team finished our project. Just wanted to put this out there in the hopes that it might help inform other potential customers who may be considering a kitchen remodel. In our case we completely gutted our kitchen, down to the studs and replaced with cabinets, countertops and flooring all through Joe. We also replaced the flooring in our foyer/entryway. In terms of overall project management Joe personally quarterbacked the entire effort. Whenever work was being done in our house Joe was either onsite overseeing and checking the quality or down in the weeds with his sleeves rolled up. From the onset he produced detailed 3D drawings with full measurements, plan, elevation views and these went through a few revisions as we made minor changes along the way. In terms of the project I am personally fairly hands-on in terms of DIY and had a hard time giving up control. In hindsight this project was far beyond my reach. Joe worked with us every step of the way to manage expectations and ensure all work was done to building code and also to our satisfaction. At times he even arranged the schedule so I could do various parts of the job, e.g. installing the sink, demolition of the existing room etc. In terms of the materials - the cabinets, countertops and flooring we're really pleased. The quality is far above anything I have seen and we really notice the difference in daily usage. Definitely worth the money spent. Joe's design was a tremendous help and has really worked out well in terms of the layout and functionality of the room. The team: Joe has a hand-picked trusted crew that are all completely professional and it shows. They pretty much became part of the family and each team member showed a high attention to detail. Our house was treated like it was theirs. Surfaces were protected and after each job the work area was cleaned and left neat and tidy. We always felt like we could trust the team working in our house and that really helped with such a big project. Bumps in the road: When you tackle a project like this there are always going to be things that are discovered along the way. In our case we removed an extra soffit, had to re-arrange some pipes, we had to re-do a bit of the backsplash and a few other minor hiccups. These are not a reflection of the crew but rather just business-as-usual with a house like ours. Joe and the team handled all of these within budget and even tackled stuff we were on the fence about, just because it mattered to them. E.g. one of the floor transitions was redone a few times until THEY were happy with it. Overall: This was a big project, with a lot of risk and not something you'd tackle every day. In saying that we're really happy we went with Joe and his team would definitely recommend to anyone considering a project like this. Even now the project is long-since completed, we still feel like we can call on Joe and he'll respond and stand by his work and that means a lot. I would have no hesitation working with Joe on a future project. Everyone admires our new kitchen and for what we had done I think we got tremendous value for money.

Joe made our dreams come true for a completely revised kitchen and then some! He listened to our ideas and provided suggestions to our kitchen redesign. As with any rehab, he was able to roll with unplanned surprises and come up with ideas to make us happy with these adjustments. He has the experience to provide detailed suggestions on how a kitchen should be arranged including traffic flow and fine details as to which drawers needed rollouts. My pantry space was extended exponentially and looks fabulous as well as being functional. Every guest who sees our rehab is astonished with the different mediums used in the kitchen and how well they all blend. Joe is a master of his trade!

My husband and I engaged Joe Cerami of CWP Cabinet Concepts based on a referral from a friend in April of this year. Joe immediately responded to our initial inquiry and met with us right away to start looking at our space and providing options. Since we were not completely sure we were ready for a kitchen renovation, we wanted someone who could give us some great ideas, and not pressure us one way or the other - Joe fit the bill! He came back to our home on 4 different occasions to provide different design options, tweak options and help us arrive at a final decision. Once we gave Joe the ok, he ordered the material, and promised that from that point forward to completion of the kitchen, it would likely be about 6 weeks. He met the timeline! Joe and his friendly and reliable workmen gutted our kitchen right down to the studs, and from the time of demolition to putting in all new cabinets, quartz countertops, and all new lighting, plumbing, electrical and appliances - it was 2 weeks I was back cooking in my beautiful new kitchen the next day. A couple of specific accolades for CWP Cabinet Concepts and Joe Cerami as the lead individual who managed this renovation -- Joe was friendly, reliable and honest. There were many times that I left my home for hours at a time and his crew was trustworthy - each day when I arrived home, I could clearly see the work that had been accomplished and the workspace was left clean. I communicated with Joe by email or text on some days, on an hourly basis, during the renovation - he always responded right away and had great ideas and insight along the way. Great communicator! The quality of the work is beautiful -- the cabinets are beautiful and sturdy with all the upgraded options, Joe also added all kinds of fun and creative touches to the layout we decided on - and the final result is stunning. The initial estimate provided was lower than the final cost of the project, but Joe got pretty close, and we had to do some add-on's like a sliding door which added to the cost. The best part of working with Joe and his CWP Cabinets team is that he does all the legwork throughout the renovation. He brought in all the external vendors, electrical, plumbing, backsplash, painter, and floor refinisher - they were all reasonable, friendly and reliable individuals and I didn't have to pick up the phone once to bring anyone in, or set up a schedule as to when they would come - Joe handled the entire project. I hope it is obvious that without question, we had a terrific experience with CWP Cabinet Concepts. We are thrilled with our new kitchen, and the timing, cost and quality of the work was great, not to mention the experience was very positive for us - we would highly recommend them and already have to many of our friends and family. My partner Patrick and I purchased an 80's contemporary house in Branchburg NJ in August 2013 with the goal of renovating much of it. Originally we were going to do the kitchen ourselves (Pat is a really good handyman). We did gut it ourselves, and we shopped for quality Ready to Assemble cabinets. We settled on Conestoga cabinets because they are furniture grade, have a good reputation, and you can get some things customized. Conestoga only sells to cabinet makers and resellers. I did some research on local Conestoga vendors and found Joe Cerami. Joe met with both of us about our goals. Friendly guy and he knows his stuff. He wrote us an estimate with two options: 1) he would just supply the cabinets un-assembled to us, and 2) he would assemble (in his workshop) and install the cabinets. Even though having Joe do the assembly and install was a bit more money, we picked #2. We were very happy with the quality of his work, from both himself and his assistant Eric. We did end up hiring our own tile, plumbing & electrical contractors rather than trying to use those that Joe typically recommends. I did have many questions for Joe during the process and we did ask for several changes during the install. Joe also custom built a special wine rack for us.
