John Dolan Flooring Kitchen & Bath Remodeling

Recently I hired Dolan kitchen and bath to remodel my upstairs bathroom. I cannot complain about any aspect of the job. They were excellent to work with including office and all crew members. They did a great job, cleaned up daily, removed all debris, were polite and courteous. They were excellent workers. I love my new bathroom and am now working with them to remodel my kitchen. Thank you Dolan kitchen and bath. You are definitely a 5 star company.

John Dolan Flooring recently renovated two bathrooms for us. It was all good from our first visit to their store, through the completion of the two rooms. The quality of their work was excellent. Also, they worked neatly and cleaned up nicely. We are very glad that we went with John Dolan Flooring.

John Dolan is the BEST — he saved the day by installing our new kitchen and a new bath in Natick —lord in 2011 ... He was creative in making it Perfect! And he was so pleasant and reassuring on all parts of this install.... Just a real gent!

My experience with John Dolan was nothing less than awesome, the guys were very professional and clean, the work was amazing if I have any further projects they are definitely doing it.

John Dolan renovated our kitchen at the start of this year. From the start we had a great experience from the first meeting until the last walk through. Caroline came to our house at the beginning took measurements and listened to what my husband and I were looking for. She was able to work with the design to give us everything we wanted in the space we had. What I think is the most important is that she really listened to us and made the kitchen fit with the house. We had received some other quotes/designs that were more of what the designer wanted instead of what we wanted. Caroline also had a great knowledge of what would work/not work and what made sense/practical. John Dolan also was able to give a beautiful kitchen within our budget. Once construction started the process met the timeline they gave us. They were timely with their communication and response to concerns/questions my husband and I had. Now we have a beautiful bright open kitchen that is much more user friendly with lots of storage. This is exactly what we needed. When a few issues popped up as things always do with major construction- John Dolan had someone at the house to fix it the next day. My husband says almost every day- I love our kitchen! We could not be happier and would both highly recommend John Dolan Flooring Kitchen and Bath!

Dolan flooring has done several remodeling projects for my family. They are prompt, fair, courteous, and clean. I would highly recommend them.

We just finished a major interior renovation with them - remodeled kitchen, two bathrooms, all new hardwood and tile flooring, finish carpentry work, and all that goes along with that which we had never quite realized beforehand. Every step of the way they were there to help make selections and answer questions. They and their subcontractors show up when they're supposed to and clean up at the end of each day. We had ongoing questions with a project this size, and they were always available and responsive. I would recommend them to anyone, the quality of their work and the product lines they used were excellent.

After discussing our kitchen renovation with several companies, my wife and I decided to use this Canton-based company. While there are certainly outfits with larger and flashier showrooms, we greatly appreciated the professionalism we immediately encountered in estimating and ultimately designing and building our new kitchen. Caroline in the showroom is detail-oriented and has a great eye for design, too. John Dolan is also a talented builder who provided helpful ideas as the project progressed. The timeline we were provided was on target, and if not for the change orders we made along the way, we kept to our budget. (The latter wasn't easy as we completely refashioned a 40-year-old kitchen whose walls haven't seen the light of day since they were built 90 years ago!) I must also add that Dolan's outside contractors (electricians, plumbers) were also very courteous and professional - we always felt comfortable leaving our home while they worked. We highly recommend this company and hope to have them back for future projects. (Photos to come.)

I had Dolan Kitchens replace the kitchen cabinets, counter, sink, faucet and floor. Caroline helped us redesign the cabinet configuration from the old layout and what a spectacular job. We now have extra cabinet and counter space. All of the workers (rip out laborers, installers, electricians, and plumbers) were all hard working and very professional. Their attention to the details is evident in the finished product. Dolan has a great crew working for them. I highly recommend Dolan Kitchens.

Just finished a major kitchen remodel including ripping out a load-bearing wall. I could not be happier with John Dolan’s. They finished completely in 5 weeks. Every worker is helpful and polite. They left the worksite clean at the end of every day. Communication was excellent. We always knew what to expect when. Highly recommend.

Terrible customer service!!! From the beginning it was a bad start. John said 1.5 weeks for estimate, but it took for me badgering Lorraine (estimator and scheduler) for an estimate. Another problem was Lorraine/John kept adding things on the estimate that I didn't need or ask for. This happened multiple times. Seemed like they just wanted to add more to the estimate at my expense. I told Lorraine repeatedly that I have a hard deadline to get the job done and every time she said, "No problem". Well, it turned out to be a problem, which only became my problem. John told me 2 weeks to get the work done and Lorraine said the deadline won't be a problem, but both were wrong. They didn't even talk to each other about the work being done. Two weeks on the job was now changed to three weeks and they wouldn't even be able to start until 4 days BEFORE my deadline that 'wasn't going to be a problem.' I thought a compromise would be to keep them on the job but they pay $430 for a storage pod. They get work ($$) and I don't have to stack furniture and be cramped for (at least ) three weeks. (The hard deadline was because my girlfriend was moving in; so I would have twice the amount of stuff). They made the mistake with scheduling and not communicating but I have to pay the price. Lorraine said best bet is to find someone else. I quickly called Charlie the Handyman and he came right over and begun working. He is prompt, hard working, doesn't make excuses, and owns up to his word. Go with John Dolan if money is burning in your wallet and you have an opened ended time schedule. If you cannot handle that, then go with Chuck McCabe or someone else. John Dolan and Lorraine Dolan-Davis are not worth your time.
