I cannot recommend Brandon and his team enough. They did a thorough job and made our vision a reality from concept to completion.

We redid a guest bathroom down to the studs and joists while largely keeping the footprint. Brandon and team were great to work with, they delivered a great product and very detail oriented on the fit and finish, and were easy to work with. During design/proposal, Brandon made a few suggestions to maximize the space that hadn't crossed our mind and which have worked out well. A lot of contractors do solid work - not all of them will volunteer to refinish the stairs to repair any stains from boot tracks, or when one very old light fixture gets nicked replace a second one so the hallway still matches. And most won't cover the work to do a bit of unexpected demo and patch a roof. If or when we have a next project, I'll certainly give Brandon a call.

Kelly Carpentry remodeled my office at Brush Rite Painting, everyone was great to work for and answered all of my questions/ concerns! They finished our project really quickly, and were great at giving us updates throughout the process. Kelly's remodeled our main upstairs bath and added a new en suite bath to our master bedroom. They were prompt, minimized the disruption to our every day routines, were fairly priced (we took several bids), and did quality work in a timely manner. Recommended!

Brandon & Co. are extremely professional and top notch at what they do. They completely gutten our 1950's black and yellow tile bathroom and remodeled it exactly as we requested. I've used Kelly's Carpentry for 2 projects, replacing a door to my garage and chimney/roof repairs. Brandon did an excellent job on both projects. He proved to be very knowledgeable and and skillful. Plus the work was completed in a timely manor at a reasonable price.

Kelly's Carpentry & Remodeling worked on several projects for us including installation of a built-in oven and microwave. We were preparing our Matthaei Farm home for sale and they were exceptional. The projects were completed well, on time and with the agreed up reasonable fees. They came to us from a very positive recommendation from friends of our son. I would recommend this group for any carpentry and remodeling project.

I totally recommend Kelly's Carpentry and Remodeling. Brandon and his crew did a total tear out and remodel of my bathroom in my Chapel Hill condo in Fall of 2020. All the people he hired were consciencious, skilled and personable. The work was done during covid-19 pandemic and all stayed masked and as distanced as they could in a small area. JJ in particular was helpful and considerate, helping me make decisions and selections. Dustin who did the tile work did an exceptional job and designed an eye-catching and practical niche in the shower. All permits were pulled on time, Brandon's $$ estimates were on target and inspections accomplished in time. This is my only bathroom and the toilet was only out of commission for one day, much to our convience! This crew went above and beyond my expectations. Hoping to have them do my kitchen, too.

I would never recommend Kelly’s Carpentry and remodeling. I contracted with Brandon Kelly, owner, to remodel my guest bathroom, remove carpet in 3 upstair bedrooms and replace with wood floors, and replace my existing deck with a maintenance free product. The contract was signed on 7/28/2020 and work commenced shortly thereafter. Take aways: 1. Permits were not pulled for my bathroom or deck (deck permit was pulled after the deck was completed). 2. Contract was not followed. For example the contract states in part, “ install new footings/framing for deck on rear of house in same design as existing...install new staircase to landing...” Completed deck is not in the same design as my old deck and my old cement landing (step) was demolished and replaced with a concrete slab leaving a terrible tripping hazard. 3. Wood floors are from HomeDepot, not the original supplier, or in the design we verbally agreed on. 4. Brandon was paid in full-big mistake!5. Received a certified letter from Brandon’s deck supplier stating a lien would be placed on my house because Brandon did not pay. I have reached out to Brandon many times and have been promised plans on how he is going to resolve issues with my deck and a receipt from the deck supplier showing the product was paid in full for MY house. I understand that Brandon now has to wait for better weather to finish the work on the outside of my house. However, weather should not prevent Brandon from sending me plans or theTwp’s Director.

Kelly's carpentry completely reconstructed two bathrooms for us over the summer and fall, 2020. It was a busy time for home remodeling work, but they pursued the task with diligence. Both rooms were stripped down to the studs and subflooring, and part of the subfloor was replaced in one. New electric wiring was run up to the second floor, no easy task, for newly added features. An expert tiling job was done with real artistic flair. New vanities and quartz tops with recessed sinks look great. Wallpapering was done perfectly. All-new plumbing is a pleasure. The work, in short, was done to the highest standard. Everyone involved, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, drywallers, were true experts. At least as important, the Kelly's crew are truly nice people. They answered all our questions patiently, even some questions that were not-so-bright. At least as important, they suggested questions we had not thought to ask, and gave good guidance toward good answers. We found Kelly's through a recommendation by friends. Their glowing praise convinced us to look no further. Now we have one more reason to regard them as true friends. -- Ed & Nancy

Based on a recommendation from a friend and neighbor for whom Kelly's Carpentry built a new deck I met with owner Brandon Kelly to discuss and receive proposal for replacing our old wood deck with Trex decking. Deck project commenced in late May of this year when Covid-19 outdoor building restrictions lifted. Very impressed with Brandon and his crew's work ethic, care in working safely including and quality of work. Project included difficult replacement of basement windows and power washing of Aluminum siding. Brandon and crew responsive to all my questions and concerns prior to and during the project, making adjustments as needed. We are very pleased with new deck complete with two stairways, railings and gates, plant boxes on wheels, benches, hardware cloth around to prevent wildlife access underneath. Their work has been admired by neighbors and friends, socially distanced of course. Deck project led to exterior painting - another excellent job done by Kelly's crew. Confidence in crew and quality of work led us to have them do another big project - replacement of 16 windows and patio door is just about finished. Bottom line, we highly recommend Kelly's Carpentry and Remodeling for your next project. We will.
