Today our kitchen project was completed. Cutting Edge surpassed our expectations. Their commitment to fine workmanship was evident throughout the project. Tomas, Matt and Scott worked hard to bring our dream to fruition. It was easy to communicate with each of them and any issues were easily resolved. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to remodel any part of their home.

We had Cutting Edge remodel our kitchen and master bath. All new cabinets and quartz countertops were installed. New lighting was installed in our master bath and both rooms were painted. The staff from the initial designer to every worker were wonderful to work with. The demolition was done with minimal mess and the workers cleaned up at the r d of each day. They kept us informed every step of the way and were always available to answer all our questions. We are scheduling Cutting Edge to update our guest bath. We highly recommend this company !

Cutting Edge Construction saved us after Hurricane Ian flooded our home. They quickly had crew come in and replace our drywall, install new floors where carpeting had been destroyed, and install new bathroom vanities. They organized all subcontractors, so we only had to deal with one company and one bill; even though they sent plumbers, electricians, painters, and others to ensure all work was performed safely and properly. At a time when other companies were too busy to take our call, they took care of us!

Cutting Edge is a first class operation! We used them to redo our condo in 2015 and had a great experience with Scot & Maryann! Maryann helped us with all design aspects, and made it so easy for us. Scot paid such attention to detail and his finishing trim work was beautiful! Last year we were destroyed by Hurricane Ian in 2022, and we called Scot again! He was there 3 days after the storm, and was able to save many aspects of our original renovation (quartz countertops in kitchen, tile in bathrooms, etc.). Scot always kept us in the loop and our job was done months before many of our neighbors at the same level of craftsmanship we have come to expect from Cutting Edge. Scot & Maryann are a great team! They are great people and wonderful to work with!

Do not recommend, project signed in October 2021 and did not finish until February 2023. Communication was terrible, told things were almost done in September 2022........not so Contractor argued with us continually, were not helpful and final straw was an overpayment at the end of project and refused to answer our calls and emails regarding this, totally ignored.......think twice before using this contractor!!!!

Scot, Millie and the entire team at Cutting Edge were a pleasure to deal with. I did extensive renovations on my kitchen, laundry room, primary bathroom and closet. Millie listened carefully to my ideas then created designs that improved on them. They were responsive and very communicative before and during my project and I felt like my home was in good hands the entire time. We didn't work on the project until we had a complete understanding of the project timeline. Once work commenced the Cutting Edge team was able to meet or beat every milestone. Among the concerns most homeowners have before commencing a project of this scope is if the contractor will communicate well, perform quality work and deliver a completed project. Cutting Edge exceeded my expectations in these areas and I recommend them without reservation. While you may find someone cheaper, the Cutting Edge team unquestionably delivers quality and value.

The scope of this project was extensive and included far more than a typical kitchen/bath update. The Cutting Edge team (Scot and Maryann, principals; Millie, designer; and their crew) were a joy to work with and the completed renovation exceeded our expectations. We selected Cutting Edge because of their approach and experience. Their vision, attention to detail, and honest/responsive communications proved truly exceptional. Scot, Maryann, and Millie all came to assess the project prior to submitting a proposal, which set them apart from the competition. During their initial inspection of the property, Cutting Edge discussed design concepts and freely shared their ideas with us. By the time they left, we had a good idea of what we wanted to incorporate in the renovation. As the project progressed, Millie's design skills translated the concepts into detailed plans and renditions that were invaluable in helping us create the living space we wanted. Scot showed he was a skilled woodworker--his hands-on commitment assured quality construction (seen and unseen) throughout the unit. Maryann play a key role in design and in sourcing materials compatible with our standards. Contractor trust was particularly important to us because we could not be on-site. Cutting Edge did not let us down. We unreservedly recommend this firm to anyone looking for a first-rate general contractor passionate about design and renovation--and total customer satisfaction.

My new kitchen is stunning! Really. It is. Cutting Edge was helpful and patient while I went through the "making choices " phase of a renovation. Which I took months to complete. Once underway, the project was handled professionally with a beautiful end result. All subcontractors were executed their portion beautifully. Cutting Edge did a complete design and renovation of our Marco Island condo. We could not be happier with the quality and magnificent work they did. Great ideas and solutions from their designer (Millie) and attention to detail on the construction and installations managed by Scot. We handed them the keys and showed up to our newly renovated home.

Cutting Edge built a climate-controlled wine enclosure for me. They sub-contracted out the glass work, but they did everything else. I'm very happy.

Cutting Edge Construction renovated our entire home plus added a 275 square ft addition. They did a wonderful job dealing with literally about 12” of paperwork for permits, inspections and approvals. We have new roofing, plumbing, electric, and flooring. Complete kitchen and two bathroom renovations one with a custom handicap shower. They removed walls, moved walls, and built a custom pantry and master bedroom closet. They coordinated the hiring of several companies when needed. The house was painted on the interior and exterior, and many problems were fixed. We are very pleased at the outcome.

Scott is very professional and the work that was performed--installing an entire new double width, 10ft high, front door with sidelights was a daunting job. Scott rebuilt the pillar substructure between the door frames and sidelights because he did not think it was adequate for a new hurricane code, impact resistant unit. He trimmed it out extremely well, and when the door vendor came to see the finished project he claimed it was the best install of his doors that he had seen. Would highly recommend Scott for any home renovation--or other--project.

Cutting edge recently remodeled my 1970s kitchen, and bathroom. They took the outdated, and nonfunctional space and turned it into an organized, and family friendly space.

Scot and MaryAnn helped us with the renovation of our kitchen and two bathrooms. Wefound the whole experience to be great. We selected all the "product" ahead of time and then the work was done while we were in a different State. We came back to find the renovation complete, the condo very clean with minimal problems and those that were, were handled expediently and well.

After word of mouth referrals and a few visits in person, we embarked on a near total kitchen remodel with Scot and MaryAnn. This is a completely professional company dedicated to delivering a product that can make even this picky perfectionist happy. More storage than we could ask for and all the details down to the mother-of-pearl backsplash! Our cup runs over! We couldn’t be happier with our remodel and marvel every day about how stunning our kitchen turned out! Finally we have the kitchen this home needed from the start!

We selected Scot for a fairly extensive remodel of our new home. Entirely new kitchen, new floors, paint, move the laundry room, etc. We had a window of time that the house would be empty before we moved in and we really needed the project to finish on time. Scot finished the project on time which by itself is a big deal for a project like this. Beyond that, Scot's dedication to the resolution of any issues that popped up throughout the process was huge. When we hired Scott and Maryann Trueblood, we based our decision on the high level of craftsmanship we saw in their other projects and the professionalism they exhibited in their proposal to us. We were not able to be in Naples while the construction was being done so we knew we needed to work with someone who would be able to communicate well from a distance. We were very fortunate to find a great team in Scott and Maryann. Scott is a highly-skilled builder who puts his reputation on everything he does. If one of his crew does work that doesn’t meet his high standards, he doesn’t hesitate to do it over. He wanted to make sure that we were completely satisfied with our renovation and Cutting Edge exceeded our high expectations. His building skills allowed him to customize; for example our bathroom vanities were built from scratch when the standard sizes wouldn’t work. He transformed the original interior of our unit in a manner that completely opened up our space. Everyone who sees it now says “Wow.” At the same time, Maryann stands out as Scott’s valuable partner. She communicated with us every step of the way with emails, texts and pictures. She was very helpful in making design decisions and assist in knowing where our money was best spent. She has great rapport with the suppliers, building inspectors and other trades people that allowed our project to be completed in a timely manner. Finally, our building manager said Scott and Maryann were extremely easy to work with and wished that every contractor they interacted with was as conscientious as they were. They have our highest recommendation.

Cutting Edge is an excellent company. I cannot say enough good things about them. After we moved back in, MaryAnn and Scott asked us for a punch list, and we couldn't come up with one!! We remolded a unit in a high rise in Naples: the kitchen, two bathrooms and hallway. We had thought that we were using someone else, but before we started, we parted ways. At this point we didn't know whether to scrap the project or hire someone else. We were concerned because there are time constraints for having work done in our building. Has to be done basically before Thanksgiving: can't work again until April . They assured us they could do it, in that time period. And they did!!!! Working in a high rise presents problems that don't occur in a private residence: use of dumpsters, elevator use, hallway rug protection etc. The process was a breeze. We had picked some things out last spring, but had already changed our minds about some things. I flew down to Florida from Boston and MaryAnn walked me through the maze of tile, granite, plumbing, paint. During that time, I realized that I could trust MaryAnn's taste, but also that she would respect mine. This was very important, because during this time, we had a family emergency in Boston. I couldn't concentrate, on some of the decisions for the condo, and I was really comfortable, deferring to MaryAnn, it worked out perfectly. The actual work is faultless, we couldn't be happier, with all of the details. The three most important things about Cutting Edge is that they keep their word, they came in on budget and I would trust them implicitly. We have already hired them to do some aesthetic work next summer!

I've worked with Cutting Edge on several projects. Their standards are high and have met my expectations. Most recently they completely renovated our laundry/wash room with new cabinets, countertops, moldings, etc. It looks great. I Love my new Kitchen. Scott's attention to detail makes all the difference. He was reliable, on-time, stayed in budget and completed the project to our exact specifications. His task was to match the design and cabinetry of an adjacent kitchen. His motto is, "If you can dream it, we can build it"....and that's exactly what he did. Scott Trueblood of Cutting Edge Construction was contracted to lead a retrofit program of a 63ft Aluminum Power boat. I worked as his labor and he lead the design and construction. Scott is truly a Master Carpenter and Cabinet Maker as well as an effective Project Manager. The year long project exceeded my expectation in every way possible. Everyone who comes aboard is awestruck with cherry woodwork and innovative designs that make the Fabulous Affair truly a unique and wonderful vessel. We are now considering a remolding project on a river front property in Fort Myers and Scott is my only choice. We can't wait to see what his imagination will create, but I am worried again about my ability to meet his exacting quality standards if I decide to be the laborer once again. It might be better for me to play on the boat and let him find his own labors.......?

Scott had a tough timeline to contend with - only 2 months to gut our condo and complete a total redo because of the condo association's deadline date for work to be done. He was always on time, within budget, and in control of the process. He was 100% reliable and did a beautiful job from start to finish. We have weekly vacation renters who often comment on how nicely the place was renovated. We would use Scott again without hesitation, and have often recommended him to others. The Property Manager was so impressed with him that he hired him to do work in the complex.

This was the most accomplished professional I have ever dealt with in the building industry. Not only did he do a great job but was quite dependable and reliable. He was always available for calls and open to incorporating new ideas into the project. He remodeled my kitchen and baths and made a fantastic outdoor kitchen / pizza oven. He even had some money saving suggestions ...amazing!!
