Thanks again for expressing your concerns on another board. I want to address your concerns quickly and be sure we take care of anything you need. Our company wants nothing but to server our customers and make each and everyone happy. If for any reason we do not deliver to your satisfaction, we will get right back to correct it. I understood you were going to be very detail oriented on this countertop project as you had not been happy with a recent project you did at your Ozark lake house but I knew we could take care of what you needed. If you remember, at one point you wanted have our installer removed from the project because of the way he was templating, which is the way we have always done this and it turned out amazing!!! I realize you want this one spot different, and with quartz it can not be done exactly the same as it was done prior with your previous countertop. We have had our installer look at this small section for you before and if you are still not happy, we are more than happy to come out again to look at this for you, which I believe we had scheduled? Please do not try to repair this yourself, we have done this for a long time and if it is not to your satisfaction, we will get it.
As far as support, I am very sorry you feel this way. Anytime you call, we respond by having the appropriate person in charge of your concern call back or even visit the site. It may not always be the person you are calling for. I did not call you back in response to your concern on an the wood countertop as I told you early on that we do not do that and I recommended going online as it would save you. One other item that I had our project manager come out for, I am sorry that I did to personally handle this and will take this to heart for future. I do know that we follow our proposal and the items outline as I do feel that keeps everyone on the straight and narrow. There was one situation in which we had a $230 item in your proposal that you had signed for and we completed however you had stated that our project manager told you something different and you felt it should be taken off our proposal. I spoke with you on this matter and told you, if you felt it shouldn't be paid to not pay it, but I did back that up with we did do this part (though you had altered it slightly from our design discussion). You paid it. In another conversation shortly after that, we discussed it again and I told you that since my employee stated it, even though it was in the proposal and we did do it, that I would credit this back to you for good customer service reasons and standing behind what my employee said and we did.
For our payment schedule in our contract for refinishing, we believe it to be fair and reasonable based on set construction standards in which we charge 10% down to schedule, 40% the day we start on site, 40% progressive payment when we finish on site and the final 10% when we finish your doors, deliver them, install them, final adjustment and final touchup and this was done completely to your satisfaction. When we collect the second 40%, we are far past 50% done with the project. This is how we discussed it with you at signing and how we handled it with you in the end. Not only that, but a year down the road, when you need us for a touchup or any service needed in congestion with what we did for you, we are here to serve you!
In closing to your comments, I want to again apologize for any inconvenience to you, your happiness is of the upmost importance to us. While I can not change the way we invoice, or how we template, we can better work on our project management and communication skills. Rest assured, we will be there to fix this small area you are concerned with.
