We love how our kitchen turned out. Jodi was great to work with. She helped streamline the decision-making process and offered design ideas we wouldn't have thought of. There were a few mistakes made, though it was all made right in the end. That's why the 4 stars instead of 5.

We did a complete reno of our kitchen and family room combining them into one large open space. We worked with Jodi from Kitchen Visions who consistently provided great design ideas from the overall layout and plans to all the myriad of details like cabinet knobs and pulls. We used several different materials in the project from oak hardwood floors, to shiplap ceilings, quartz countertops, backsplash tile, walnut kitchen island, and a brick accent wall in the family room and they all blended together perfectly thanks to Jodi. The contractor was Preferred Builders and Andrew was professional and very knowledgeable. His crew did great quality work on time and budget and were always very considerate of our needs has we lived in the house for the 3 month duration of the project.

Our project began as a 4 bathroom renovation, but quickly expanded to include upgrading HVAC and changing out 35 windows. As such, the amount of work necessitated us moving out for 5 months. We started by hiring a contractor who specializes in historic homes. In the past we have had much more difficulty selecting a designer as our taste is very traditional, and other designers we've met with only want to do things in a super-modern way. Fortunately for us, our contractor introduced us to Jodi Swartz. We could tell that she was different than our previous designers as she clearly understood what our vision was, and helped articulate that into the plans that she and her team put together. What really impressed me most was how well she worked with our contractor to execute her designs with such high quality. She was on site for weekly walk-throughs throughout the project and any changes that we made were quickly incorporated into the plans. Furthermore, I very much appreciated how easy it was to reach Jodi-- she was highly responsive to emails, texts and I never had to worry about things slipping through the cracks because she and her team were on top of everything. If something unforeseen arose in an order or delivery, they took care of it before it became a problem and delayed the project. Finally, as they charged us by the hour for work done, I could tell that Jodi was very judicious with her billing (which is not the norm in this business) and in the end I felt like I received tremendous value for the services she provided. I look forward to working with KitchenVisions in the future!

We used KitchenVisions for a complete gutted re-model of our kitchen, master suite, den, and living room and more. Jodi and her team provided an excellent collaborative experience that included multiple visits, beautiful design renderings, as many meetings as we needed, in addition to helping select, and work with, a great contractor. Their fees are a tremendous value for what you get, which is a true partner with uncanny professional judgment and execution in designing and building the best possible space. There were countless decisions and issues that Jodi and team solved quickly and without hassle, in a way and speed that only years of high quality experience can provide. In all, it was a fun and relatively stress free experience that produced a truly transformed living space. Had we not used KitchenVisions, we'd likely still be at the tile store deciding between 10,000 different types of backsplashes instead of enjoying our new home. Jodi and team are very organized, and come prepared for each meeting to maximize everyone's time. She did a great job narrowing down decision points without pushing in one direction or another, but rather by asking questions about what experience we want from each space. She will also steer you away from really bad design ideas you see in DYI kitchens. In all, we cannot . recommend KitchenVisions strongly enough, and will definitely use them in the future for new projects.

Jodi Swartz is a pleasure to work with. She's knowledgeable, opinionated (well, a good designer ought to be, right?), but was quite willing to work with whatever nonsensical ideas I had. And she makes sure she gets things right. She takes the time to do that. She also connects you with a good contractor who is honest, thorough, does terrific work, and is easy to work with as well. If I had gone to some kitchen store, the work probably would have cost about the same; perhaps slightly less -- but would have been nowhere near as well-designed and useful.

When we decided to custom build our condo, I knew there were too many choices to make and too many mistakes to be made. In conversation with friends and professionals in the area, I found that all roads led me to Jodi Swartz. Jodi and her team spent nearly 2 years with us as we designed the ultimate dream kitchen and entertainment space plus 4 bathrooms not to mention some excellent advice on a concurrent project we were working on in Maine at the time. The money spent on Kitchen Visions planning, oversight and advice was far less than the mistakes I would have made had I thought I could do this myself. Jodi asked so many thoughtful questions That never would have crossed my mind and yet were vital to the success of the flow of the kitchen and the ambience and function we desired. She also listened to our ideas and embraced the non traditional architecture and style we were after. I was thrilled not only with Jodi, Marissa and team, but also with recommendations for additional professionals that helped with appliances, lighting, flooring,window treatments and paint color consultation. Working with Jodi Swartz and Kitchenvisions was a wonderful experience from start to finish; I am so glad we chose to work with them. We absolutely love our new kitchen. Jodi and Marissa were a joy to work with. They took my crude (and rather unworkable) ideas and created a kitchen design that proved very functional in addition to looking amazing. I can’t imagine how many mistakes I would have made without them. I added a couple of bathrooms to the project and they jumped on those immediately and were really helpful in saving money when it could be saved. The thing I am most pleased with is their help in correcting a counter install that looked just a little off (not their fault). Got it replaced with no fuss (or cost to me). They wanted everything perfect and made sure that was the result.

I have little confidence when it comes to decorating and design and Jodi & her team provided advice and guidance before, during and following the installation. We were presented a plan that was easy to understand and execute. One of our contractors commented that he wished all his plans and installation guides were as thorough as KitchenVisions. We are happy with the quality of materials and our beautiful new kitchen. Thank you Jodi and the KitchenVisions team!

Kitchen, bath, bath/laundry room - design and manage the project. Jodi and Cheryl have great ideas and remodeled with us to make these spaces absolutely gorgeous. Top end products, timely and had great contractor recommendations. They will be re designing another master suite very soon. Also worked on a small condo bath. Love everything that they pick out. Trustworthy, efficient and fun ladies to work with.

Jodi and her team are the best! We did a full kitchen remodel and took down several walls to reconfigure the space shortly after moving into our home. Jodi helped create our vision by offering helpful suggestions and patiently working through all of the decisions. Many people say that home renovation is more stressful than moving but our experience was the opposite - thanks to the KitchenVisions team. They communicated all information and handled all of the operational workflows required to move the reno along - especially keeping us in the loop on cost and timing information. Jodi and Marissa are fantastic! Really went the extra mile - particularly working with our stone installers. Jodi and /or Marissa were on site during the entire process and were even more particular than we would have been - which was a relief since we were out of the country at the time! Jodi also knew exactly how to handle the inevitable "sticky situation" that arises with any construction project - she could moonlight as a therapist!!

We have been recommending them to friends ever since we started using them.

Jodi was extremely professional and fast when it came to doing our kitchen design. My husband and I were fighting for 5 years to try and come up with a design for the kitchen. We have a post and beam house and couldn't move a huge beam without spending a lot of money. Jodi came in and in two visits, came up with a great design for the kitchen and we even got a mud area out of the design too. She knew everything we needed even before we knew what we needed, she is a mind reader! We were very happy.

Jodi did a wonderful job designing the renovation of our Master bath and Hall full bath. She understood what we wanted and translated our needs and style into great ideas for use of space, cabinet styles, color schemes and fixtures. She ordered all the materials and ensured it was available before needed. She worked closely with the contractor and subcontractors and responded promptly when any questions arose. Her efforts took a big burden off of us and resulted in two very functional and beautiful bathrooms.

We did a major kitchen and dining room renovation last year. As it was our first experience with doing something so major, we were really looking for an experienced design and project management team to help and guide us through the process. As a photographer, I've shot several of Jodi's projects. She has a great eye and a style that is simultaneously fresh and timeless. I've shot many different types of projects for her and I love the consistency displayed throughout various settings. She obviously has a firm grasp on her craft and her confidence exudes in her work. Also, I admire her efficiency of design, as she can transform a space that may, on the surface, seem limited and truly get the most out of it. Although it may sound a bit selfish, it's always a pleasure shooting one of Jodi's projects because I can almost guarantee I'll get some gorgeous new images to add to my portfolio! Her works shines and it's a joy to capture it.

I have a condo with a small square galley kitchen that was built in the late 80’s complete with standard oak cabinets and a lot of unused space. I love to cook and was very limited in the space I had. Jodi transformed my kitchen into a beautiful, bright and completely functional cooking space. I cannot recommend Jodi and KitchenVisions more highly! We wanted to remodel our kitchen by opening it up into our living room and adding more practical storage space. Our kitchen was closed off from the rest of the house and extremely outdated. We love to entertain, and Jodi was so thoughtful in her design, always keeping in mind our style and desired uses for the space. We knew the project would be expensive (in part because we had to take down a load-bearing wall), and Jodi was very conscientious about helping us to keep costs down, while ensuring that our collective vision came together as beautifully as we imagined. Her aesthetic is impeccable, and she thoughtfully guided us toward beautiful, high quality materials that would not break our budget. She made herself available whenever we needed her for questions large and small, and we trust her implicitly. Jodi is also extremely well connected in the area - she recommended our general contractor, whom we loved as well, and pointed us to other excellent vendors. Her beautiful eye, patience, work ethic and professionalism are unmatched, and we could not be more pleased with the results of our project.

Jodi and her team at KitchenVisions truly created the kitchen of my dreams. This was a renovation project in a very challenging long, fairly narrow kitchen space. We met with Jodi in the spring of 2015, and she ultimately hooked us up with our contractor for a large kitchen/mudroom and lower level remodel. Throughout the entire process, Jodi was at our side offering advice on the overall look and feel of the entire renovation as well as all of the specific items for the kitchen and bathroom. Jodi immediately understood our overall aesthetic and helped us pull together an incredible space. Jodi offered great advice as well as resources for cabinets, granite, light fixtures, appliances, the list goes on and on. Jodi was also very aware of our budget concerns and kept those top of mind when offering options. We are incredibly pleased with the new space and would recommend Jodi and her team without hesitation.

Jodi worked with us on our home renovation project, which included a new kitchen and several bathrooms. She helped us with floor layout, kitchen design, bathroom design, selection and location of lighting fixtures, etc. She also came up with several ideas we hadn't even considered. Jodi was easy to work with and was open to our opinions and requests. She looked out for us to make sure we didn't make any uniformed or short-sighted decisions. She is a true professional who delivered what she promised. She has extensive connections in the area that helped us obtain good deals on materials and labor. Jodi recommended our GC and they worked worked together very well. The rest of the KitchenVisions staff, Kerry and Marissa, were great as well. We would definitely work with Jodi again if the opportunity arises and will recommend her to any of our friends/family doing a remodel.

We were completing a full gut renovation of the kitchen in our new home and hired Jodi to help with the design and cabinetry. While the new kitchen layout was in almost the same footprint, Jodi was able to create a much more workable space with so much functional storage! She was also able to integrate a very large wine cabinet fridge we already owned as well as a kegarator for the wet bar area, two non-standard items that she integrated flawlessly into the design. The cabinetry is beautiful and had all the modern features we were looking for (full size drawers for pots and pans, pull out trays in cabinets, soft closing doors etc). Jodi was a pleasure to work with and always very accommodating with our hectic schedules. Thank you for our dream kitchen, we love it!

We were doing a major renovation of our master bath. This involved moving plumbing, electric and walls. We were very apprehensive and needed guidance. We were lucky to work with Jodi Swartz from Kitchen Visions who came up with a whole new concept that we had not even envisioned. This included not only a renovation of our master bath, but taking advantage of moving walls that allowed us to also renovate a badly needed guest bath as well. She was able to give us considerably more space in both bathrooms that we will enjoy and also add value to our home. Not only is Jodi an excellent designer, but she was equally adept at helping us with choosing all bath resources and decorating and colors. We consider ourselves very comfortable with design on our own, but Jodi showed us why using a true professional made all the difference. We could never have come up with the ideas she laid out. We were very impressed with her use of CAD CAM tools to put together a comprehensive plan that served as the blueprints for the contractor, who remarked that our plans were some of the best he had ever seen. From initial design to project completion, Jodi is a creative, knowledgeable professional. Our new kitchen, which occupies the same space as our old, flows much, much better and has significantly more storage. It is absolutely beautiful while being perfectly functional. I’m astounded at what she was able to do with the space available. Jodi is an excellent listener which resulted in a design that truly matched what we wanted and needed. She did as much or as little as we asked her to. For example, she went with us to choose backsplash tile, and we were done after spending a few hours in one store rather than days carting tile back and forth to many stores. The tile we chose is perfect. We wanted to spend time at the granite yard ourselves, so she suggested where to go, and gave her opinion and feedback when we brought home samples. Throughout the project, she expressed her opinion and gave us ideas, but understood those times when we made different choices. She let us know which choices she felt were important to the look and functionality of the result, and which were personal preference. Mostly, we went with her excellent design sense. Jodi's attention to detail in cabinet layout is phenomenal. She understands the minutiae of cabinet manufacturing. This helps her to work around many potential problems and to come up with unique suggestions. When it was time to install the cabinets, she went through the entire layout with the contractor, marking the walls or floor, to make sure he understood where everything should go, and where, on each wall, he should begin installation. She suggested cosmetic modifications that I would not have thought of, or possibly not noticed the absence of, but that contribute to the harmony and polish of the result. Jodi makes herself available which is a big help when on-the-job issues arise. I am very glad Jodi designed our kitchen, and if I had other renovations I would definitely hire her.

During our first meeting with Jodi Swartz of KitchenVisions she asked us to compile a list of what we wanted for our new kitchen. I looked at that list at the end of the project and found that she had delivered everything we had requested and much more. I was very impressed with the breath and depth of Jodi’s knowledge in all areas of our project. In addition to redesigning both my kitchen and bath, Jodi was instrumental in helping us to choose all of our materials including the lighting, cabinetry, hardware, tile, appliances, flooring, countertops, and plumbing fixtures. She is an excellent resource who stays up-to-date with the latest materials and trends in the field. She has a wonderful sense of design and was very adept at helping me stay true to my own. Jodi was always respectful of the parameters we set for the project and never attempted to make the project bigger than we wanted. By taking footage from our powder room, she came up with a very creative design which gave us a new bar area and additional storage that was beyond my imagination. She was very willing to recommend contractors and suppliers when requested or leave it up to us when we preferred. She worked extremely well with my contractor as well as with others on the team. She found and collaborated with a cabinet maker that was a perfect match for my working style. Jodi was remarkably responsive to my emails, texts, and phone calls whenever I needed her. She always made herself available to meet with me wherever I wanted, regardless of the distance. I’m still calling Jodi for advice and although she is very busy, she continues to be as responsive and available to me as the first day we met. She has amazing energy and the ability to switch gears for whatever is required of her. At every one of our appointments she was still going strong long after I had faded. Equally important to me, she was incredibly patient with my slow-moving decision making process. Jodi has been very professional and a lot of fun to work with. I hope to be able to work with her on additional projects in the future. My new kitchen and powder room are perfect and I love them. I would highly recommend her. Jodi did SUCH an amazing job on our kitchen design. After not being able to come up with a design that worked for our oddly-shaped kitchen for years, Jodi came in with a number of designs that were so great we had a hard time deciding which one to pick. She helped us select the perfect one and our kitchen really couldn't be any better. We have had realtors come in since then and say that it is now the selling feature of our house! I would definitely hire her again if we do another renovation.

We also purchased cabinets, countertop, sink, and tile through her since her pricing and quality of the products was competitive. We started our master bathroom remodel with just vague ideas of what we might want. Jodi helped guide us into a design and aesthetic that was perfect for us and fit in with the rest of our house. Jodi took our drab, dated kitchen and brought it back to life. New floors, ceiling, lighting, window, cabinets and appliances. The space is the same size but it's been reconfigured so it works better for us. More efficient, functional, comfortable and beautiful. Highlights include the gorgeous picture window, the huge peninsula that replaces the kitchen table, the granite countertop (Costa Esmerelda Rose), the tile backsplash and the combination white and dark cherry cabinets. Jodi's design was spectacular. She was a pleasure to work with.
